Hitachi 1. 5 Ton Sac AcecutoutLack of response even after giving complaint

I deeply regret to bring to your notice on the poor response from the service department of Hitach India. I would like to bring to your kind attention that we had raised a complaint April 4, 2011 with Request No : [protected] to rectify my brand new AC which is not giving cooling effect at this stage itself. And till date there has been no response or action on the same. I had already faced huge difficulty from the dealer side to get the same AC installed earlier. And now I face the difficulty in getting my complaint addressed promptly.

I don’t blame Hitachi Corporate Japan for I know their service is prompt. It is rather annoying to experience such worst response both from the dealer and the company in India. Inspite of sending several emails to the company id [protected]@hitachi-hli.com and [protected]@hitachi-hli.com, there is no action take as of now.

I would never recommend this brand to any one in India for the service in India is dead poor. Due to the language problem such matters become difficult to take it up to the Head office Japan.

    I had purchased 02 nos HITACHI AC From M/S R.G's Airconditioners GOTRI Road Vadodara,
    The dealer had not given any free service in warranty period of 01 years nor the Company HITACHI resolved the problem of poor service.
    the service and behaviour of the Dealer M/S R.G's Airconditioners GOTRI Road Vadodara is hopeless and i recommend that no one should purchase AC from this dealer and HITACHI company.

        Our one and a half year windows AC stopped working completely. Its been a week since i had contacted customer care still nothing is done. After three days of my complain a engineer drops by just to inform that some part needs to be replaced and left after that no news from them. Now what is frustrating is in our complex there no power fluctuation and we have a V guard stabilizer how could a new AC develop such snags. I have an kelvinator which is 6 years old is working well. You pay a premium for the product not only it stopped working and you get this atrocious after sales service back. There is no accountability and frustrated with the whole experience. Please keep off from Hitachi.

        The dealer paid no heed to numourous complaints of other consumers also.
        R.G's AIRCONDITIONER vadodara'S RESPONSE TIME IS VERY LATE AND BEHAVIOUR IS NEGLIGENT.

      Hitachi Iota Model Air Conditionercompliant not yet complete

      Dear Sir,

      I am unsatisfied with your service. I registered a complaint on your customer care on 22/3/11 for AC service. This has completed on 31/3/11. When the Service Man come for service, up/down air flow direction adjustment flap get mistekenly broken by the service man but he says its not by me it is already and he told me to registered again a complaint to customercare for this part, your AC in under warranty so it will be change free of cost, so I registered the compalint on 31/3/11 (complaint# [protected]) but after two or three days I got the call from Kirti Nagar Service Center regarding complaint I told all the matter and they said to me we call back you in few minutes but I nevere get call back. I got the massage from Hitachi that (Your Request# [protected] has been closed in our system Pls call our custeromer care if it has not been fully adressed-hitachi service center. I call again to your customer many times but they take no action and I got the phone number of Kirti Nagar SErvice center, I talked with Mr. Joshi there I told him to all matter and they again say I will call you again but they not called me, I again called there on 16/4/11 two or three times and they said to me that the enginner will come today but the engineer will not come yet. Its very poor service.

      I am sure that the Up/down air flow direction adjustment flap was breaked by Service Man not already.

      Please do something in this case, I am really very harras by HItachi, this is my first product of your brand. If the same service will remain of your in future I will not recommed to anybody or buy HItachi brand.

        Hi, I want to inform everyone that please avoid khyber air-conditioning ghaziabad, they claim to be authorized service center of Hitachi but when I checked with HITACHI they completely refused to have any relation with KHYBER.
        Khyber took my A/C for gas filling with promise to return next day, even after 15 days I am calling them and they are not returning it. I am planning to lodge a police complain against them.

        But, please avoid them...

            Hi,
            Please avoid taking service of Hitachi Gurgaon. I raised a request to install the AC on 27 of March and today that is 30 Apr after more then a month no response from there side. Whenever I used to call them they answered the same line that in next 2 hr our correspondent will contact you..but there 2 hr changed to more then a month. The Gurgaon Hitachi Center is just horrible. Can someone please tell me the Hitachi official site where I can complain for this issue...

          Respected Sir,

          I have purchased a window AC 1.5 ton jus ta year ago, every thing was fine, but now i have a major

          problem with the AC .The lcd display of the AC has malfuntioned and the AC has stopped . I called the

          customer care and told them tyo replace the said part, but i was told that they cannot solve the issue as

          it was against the terms & conditions . the only way out is to pay Rs 1400/- and the part repaired .

          This is the first time I have purchased hitachi ac and I had to face such problem being a elderly woman .

              Absolute worst post sale service. Never complaint will be properly attended. However they have a 24 hr customer care. Customer car centre is for hearing your complaints only, not for a proper solution. I do worry, whether Hitachi managment is deaf and dumb. Very soon there will be no taker of Hitachi product in the market.

              The ac is very costly, atleast 50% more expensive. It makes one believe that it is of superir quality, but that is not the case and Hitachi ac is as good or as bad as any other ac in the market. They also don't have proper after sales service or customer suport.

              i had purchased a 2 ton hitachi window ac last yr 2010, since begning it is creating problem, they repaired it, taken to their workshop also but in vain, till date it is not working fine. on 14 may 2011 i had registered a complaint about no proper cooling & for proper service, refrence ph. no.[protected].but till date after so many reminders at customer care they had not attended the complaint till date 27 may 2011.The product is under warranty.

            Hitachi - Hli Air ConditionersPOOR QUALITY / HIGH PRICE & POOR SERVICE

            I had purchased a Hitachi Window A/c in year 2009. It was making noise from the starting itself and as per the dealer, the Noise is normal. Now within a year the Compressor is gone faulty. I had checked-up with the dealer. He had informed that, the HITACHI WINDOW A/C's is having compressor problem ( Manufacturing Fault) and their are 10 cases of replacements pending with the delaer. He is not recd the replaced compressor which he had send a month ago to their delhi office.

            The cost of Hitachi A/C is more than double than any of other companies like LG/ Samsung etc. Hitachi service support is is the worst.

            Even, they vener visisted for the free services till date ( during the warranty period)

                I purchased one Hitachi Split 1.5 ton AC on 11/05/2010 from M.K. Electronics & Refrigeration, 28 Basrurkar Market, Moti Bagh-1, New Delhi-21 and I complained about service of the same through above mentioned dealer vide complaint No. [protected] dated 24th April, 2011 but the same has not been attended so far. I have reminded about the service on complaint No. [protected] many times but still the complaint has not been attended so far. I request the higher authorities of Hitachi to look into the matter and get it done expeditiously and take action against the persons not attending complaint so far. (Vijay Yadav-[protected])

              Hitachi Quadricool 1. 5 T AcPoor and inefficient Service

              I live in Mulund Mumbai-400080, I own two 1.5T HITACHI window AC's the lates one i bought last year is Quadricool and the AC has been giving problems since installations, Service engineers visit fixed things temporarily and the problem reoccurs. The engineers employed with the service partners are thorough unprofessional and appear to be novice always in terms of trouble shooting and servicing. They only know to clean the AC unit. Last mont I paid @ INR 2500K for fixing the gas leakage, we compalained day before for noise issue to the service centre. Today 3 so caled hitachi engineers came home and opened the AC and were not able to fix it back, they forced it and finally started discussion some issue amongst themselves, upon enquiring they told us that there is oil spill inside the AC and the gas has leaked, have instructed us not to operate the AC today. Service centre personnel first id not accept that there is an issue but after long argument has promised to look into this. We are expecting some response on this tomorrow. This is a BIG SHAME on HITACHI as they are not able to identify good service partner and provide quality service to the customers. We pay premium price buying HITACHI as compared to other brands in the market but its a PITY that we are dis satified with the service. Not sure if this complaint will be forwarded / addressed but no other way to escalate this issue. SHAME !

                I HAVE PURCHASED A AIR CONDITIONER FROM HITACHI DEALER FROM ALLAHABAD, THE DEALER MACHNIC CAME FOR INSTALATION BUT HE HAS NOT ABLE TO START THE MACHINE AND HE SAID THAT THE OTHER PERSON FROM SERVICE CENTRE WILL COME AND CHEQUE THE AC. AFTER 2 DAYS ONE MACHENIC NAME MR MUKESH FROM SERVICE CENTRE CAME AND AFTER CHECK HE TOLD THAT SWING MOTOR AND PCB IS NOT WORKING. SINCE THE MACHINE IS NOT WORKING CONDITON BEFORE INSTALLATION WE HAVE REFUSED TO ACCEPT REPAIRED MACHINE AND WE HAVE CONTACTED CO. LUCNOW OFFICE AS WELL COMPANY HEAD OFFICE THERE MR RAVINDER FROM HEAD OFFICE ASSURED THAT CO. WILL REPLACE THE SAME AND HEIS GIVEN SAME INSTRUCTION TO MR. VIVEK AT LUCNOW, BUT MR VIVEK SHOWN INABLITY TO REPLACE THE SAME AS I HAVE PURCHASED THE AC ON 20TH MAY 2010 AND SAME IS NOT OPERTAIONAL TILL TODAY I.E. 01 JUNE 2010 AFTER 12 DAYS.

                  Dear Sir,

                  With reference to #[protected], on April-15 as assigned by you - Concorde air conditioning Bangalore, installed "Hitachi 1.2T RAU014HQDP, Split AC ".
                  However,
                  - The installation is not proper.
                  - There is no Demo
                  - Customer interaction is very disappointing.

                  -For Installation: ( Needs to be checked by Proper HITACHI technician AGAIN)
                  - Only one person came !!! ( is it really possible to install that much big machine with one person) along with one Lady Mrs. Radha who presented herself as a manager of Concorde air conditioning.
                  - Observed leakage of drain water from pipe in room instead proper out let
                  - Drain pipe is not installed with proper slant position
                  - Stand is not fixed properly. Very loose
                  - All 3 pipes coming from AC are not tied properly, left as it is!!! - is this really procedure???
                  - Demanding extra costs to put holes on wall ( 250/- each hole)

                  - Charges: ( With Proper bill required from HITACHI)
                  - Demanding Instalaltion charges & Stand cost with out any kind of bill
                  - For Stand demanding 1000/- where as in actual it is 550/-
                  - After installation, as per procedure, "need to sign & stamp warranty card" and produce barcoded slips from Machinery of AC and warrany card & machine # etc... in Hitacchi office which in turn can be used as reference for furher sevices and any other kind of assistance ... WHICH IS NOT DONE AT ALL EVEN AFTER REQUESTING...
                  - And providing proper BIll for getting money for proper services - WHICH IS NOT DONE AT ALL EVEN AFTER REQUESTING...


                  So, I would like to all this to be cheked and addressed properly and provide proper Bill and waranty FROM HITACHI OFFICIALS but not again by any dealer like - concorde.


                  Note: Pls note the same day same time, my Uncle who is staying in same building in ground floor get LG Split a/c installed with out any of above issues and with very satisfaction- for good work with reasonable prices unlike high costs from Hitachi dealer- Concorde.

                      I have registered a complaint with Hitach on 3rd May 2017 .Asper my AMC contract they have to attend in 24 hours. Inspite of repeated calls to their call centre no action was taken. They gave me contact numbers of Noida which are not working.I sent mails to their email address for which there is no response even after one reminder.By today they have taken more than 6 days to attend. complaint Registration no [protected] dated 3rd May 2017

                    Sir,

                    I purchased 1.5 ton Quadricool Twin Motor Air conditioned that we suppose and company declare as the top of the model available in the market. Kindly look in to the points mentioned below:-

                    On 4th March 2010, I purchased the Hitachi Winow AC. 1-5T Class QD (TM) RAV018EQDZ1 H, Machine Serial NO> 100A11017, Date of Packing of AC 23/1/2010 from M/S. Rai Enterprises, Authorised Stockists of Hitachi and Distributor for four Districts of Hitachi by paying Rs 25, 900/= for machine vide Cah Memo No. 3076 dated 04/03/2010, whereas the other ACs are available in the market with half of the amount with installation from company. Your company takes double of the amount from the customer and kick him out and don’t provide any service in the name of guidance, NO DEMONSTRATION OF PRODUCT. The same machine is available in Rs 24, 700/- at Reliance Digital Retail, First Floor, Plot No. 362-363, Lajpat Nagar, Opp Gymkhana Club, Model Town Road, Jalandhar, But regret to inform you that the single Air-conditioned is available with the multi-national company of Repute RELIANCE which has been placed on display. The said Reliance Store failed to deliver the packed piece of Air Conditioned so I have to shell out Rs 1200/- extra. Phagwara’s dealer M/s Johnson Electricals has only two ACs on display and on demand promise to prevail the AC at Rs 27, 000/-.
                    On 4th March 2010, I purchased AC from Rai Enterprises due to non availability of the product in the market due to the reputation of Hitachi Japan. The said dealer collected money. Not provided appropriate Cash Memo in my name---Written Cash Sales, not signed Guarantee Card and on my request said there is no such provision.
                    On 4th March 2010, the dealer not provided the basic guidance, how to operate the AC and having no knowledge that who will install the AC. No guidance about the technician, No company’s provision to install AC though the company charge double the amount of AC available in the market. LG Air conditioner is available in the market with half of the price and the installation of the machine is being done by the company’s technician free of cost.
                    The A.C. Technician who installed the machine at our house told that this product is substandard product, We have installed the Hitachi ACs at Maya Towers that also give trouble from the day of installation and the company’s after Sales Service is VERY VERY POOR.
                    On installation the said machine Quadricool TM, Firstly the Remote provided with the machine does not work. Secondly the machine get tripped after the running of two-three minutes. The customer care executive says get the cooling level down from 25 to 18 then also it trips and don’t start afterwards.
                    On starting the AC--- after starting the fan the machine don’t start compressor automatically. We have to go to Mode function to start the compressor. Which will trip after running 2-3 minutes.
                    It seems Hitachi’s selection of dealers in India is improper. Oh God kindly provide justice to the customers.
                    Hitachi is selling substandard products in India and has no botheration about its reputation.
                    Kindly look in to the matter and resolve the problem at the earliest.

                        ON 29.06.2012 THE AC STOPPED WORKING AND WE CALLED CUSTOMER CARE AND A COMPLAINT NO.[protected] WAS REGISTERED IN RESPONSE MR. Z. HASHMI TECHINCIAN FROM S.S. ENTERPRISES HAS VISITED ON 30.06.2012 AND DETECTED THAT TEMPORARY SWITCH ON THE INDOOR UNIT WAS MAL FUNCTIONING AND SUE TP THAT THE UNIT WAS TRIPPING, HE TRIED TO RECTIFY THE FAULT AND AFTER SPENDING NEARLY ONE HOUR HE DECLARE THE PROBLEM AS RECTIFIED (AS PER ENCLOSED FILED CALL REPORT CALL NO.AND [protected]).

                        HOWEVER THE AC IS NOW WORKING BUT THE MALFUNCTIONING OF TEMPORARY SWITCH IS STILL CONTINUE AND AC IS KEEP ON/OFF DUE TO THAT .

                        PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL FOR IMMEDIATE REDRESSAL OF MY PROBLEM BY EITHER RECTIFY THE FAULT AT ONCE OR REPLACE THE FAULTY INDOOR UNIT, AS THE MACHINE IS PURCHASED ON 21.06.2012 AND HARDLY WORKED FOR 10 DAYS.

                        I have a hitachi ac, model no. 518ERD purchased on 19/7/2011. I t is purchased from Garg enterprises, Patiala, Punjab. It is not in a working condition from 8days. The dealer says that the parts are not available. I am not satisfied with the dealer and your company's customer services.

                      I purchased a 55" Hitachi LCD Rear Projection television. It has been a nightmare. It had a defective light engine, which took months to remedy. Despite the fact that the light engine was acknowledged to be defective, I had to pay for the labor involved in its replacement. Now I have another problem. The unit wil not power up. I get a buzzing noise in the area of the lamp and the unit goes into protection mode with a lit lamp indicator. The lamp, which I replaced a relatively short time ago, appears to be fine -- so who knows? It could be the lamp. It could be the fan. It could be the ballast. It could be someting else. I am done with this craptastic tv and will never buy another Hitachi product again.

                          Hitachi said to replace the bulb on our 42V710 4-year old tv when our colors looked washed out green/yellow. Made the problem worse; more obvious. TV Repair person verified the problem was the light engine when we told him the Red, Green, Blue color only settings showed good red color, good green color, but the blue only option showed nothing but dark swirls and blotches all over the screen. Hitachi said our set was too old to support and said to contact their "appeals committee" if we didn't like it. So they won't even cover our repairs or send a new light engine.
                          Check out this corporate statement from Hitachi website, "The value we intend to foster and build upon is that of a company trusted by customers and society, a company fully responsible for its actions." Thanks for those beautiful words that mean nothing to me as a customer and member of society who has been ripped off by Hit-ow-chi.
                          My husband's planning to take our yellowvision out back for target practice!!!

                        I have had an account with conns for about 4-5 years.I have never been late with any payment and today conns called and said, I was past due since august; I tried to explain to them that the payment was made and they did not want to hear it. They yelled transfered my call without letting me know and on top of all that;they told me not to worry about the account, cause I wasn't going to have an account with them anymore and hung up on me. they make seem like they are the only electronic store, with this experience I will not purchase anything from them again with cash or credit and they will be lucky if I even pay the account. CONNS does not even have a number or anything for that matter if you run across anything like this situation, hopefully it changes for customers in the future.

                          Hitachi Widow AcRepeated Gas leakage, poor fuctioning

                          The Window AC since its installation in 2008 is giving one or the other trouble.
                          Initially the IV blew away twice, the gas leaked twice( immediately after the guarantee period) .
                          It does not provide sufficient cooling, the electricity consumption is too high.
                          I came to know that 2008 lot was defective and company replaced quite q few ACs.
                          It is distressing that despite repeated requests nothing has been done so far in my case.
                          I am not going to get the gas filled again by paying a hefty amount.
                          Please replace the piece urgently as I have already suffered a lot.

                            Bought a 50 inch plasma, went out after about 5 mo, but still under warranty. TV repair shop said pretty common problem w/ this TV with the boards going out. 2 of 3 boards went bad, Hitachi requires under warranty that all 3 be replaced. No problem. Turns out, however, these boards are not in stock at Hitachi and Hitachi has no ETA on getting the parts in. They also require the parts be ordered from them when under warranty, not anyone else.

                            I've been without the TV for roughly a month and a half, and as of today, theres still no ETA on when they will have this part. Could be many more weeks. Additionally, they are unwilling to work out another solution. They won't give a loaner TV, or replace the set, or do anything else. They said to wait. Heck, I'd take a little 19 inch loaner TV just to have something to watch, and get some small use out of my cable package.

                            In other words, Hitachi TV breaks while under warranty, Hitachi requires parts come from Hitachi, Hitachi doesn't make the part (they claim they do, just no ETA on when it will be in existance again, could be ages and has already been weeks). Hitachi unwilling to do anything but have me sit on my thumbs while I'm burning $100 a mo on a sweet HDTV package basically for my oak tv stand, while Hitachi is busy coming up with excuses for why they won't supply the part for the Hitachi Plasma they require come from Hitachi. Rep stated Hitachi has no corporate policy on how long them put their customers through this torture before they replace the product and consumer being held hostage. Awesome job, Hitachi.

                            Everyone else, watch out. Anything can break, and warranty is only as good as the competence of the company standing behind it. I would refrain from purchasing any big ticket items from this company.

                                I had this T.V., I purchased from Sam's. I bought the extended warranty b/c I almost always do then never have to use them...fortunately this time it was a good thing I did! I had boards going out too...Started at the bottom and was heading to the top. Couldn't see anything on the bottom 1/2 of tv. Thank goodness I am a PLUS member (which extends your warranty) and the insurance company sent me a box to send my 40" tv back to them in. I did and was waiting for my tv to return...not thinking I wouldn't get it back. I got a check in the mail for what I paid for the TV. Bought on 3-4-13...returned on 12-5-15 check received just a couple of months later. Not bad I'd say... I would have loved to get my tv back b/c it had a good picture and it fit just right...but I did get the next best thing...$$$ I'd say that $29.85 insurance (which double's your warranty) was not a bad choice.

When my TV will be repaired or when you will give me a replacement TV. That is not to much to ask and I'm very disappointed in the way you all are going about handling this situation. Ive been without my TV since the 1st of November with no answer of when I will get it fixed. See last weeks note below;

                                My issue with my TV has still not been resolved and I have not heard anything since you all sent me this note back on 2/12/13. I contacted the [protected] as you suggested in your email and was told again that a part was back ordered and there was not a date when I could expect my TV to be repaired under warranty. I have moved forward and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They have assigned it ID 9417482 and have a;ready started the process to mediate this issue. If we can reach a resolution I can update the status to show resolved. Video Revolution in Tulsa have been great about giving me updates when I call, but they can only tell me they are waiting on a part.

                                I am requesting a new TV at this point. Please have someone call me [protected]) to address this issue. At this point, it's unacceptable to make a customer wait any longer with no date available for repair.

We called you and were referred to Video Revolution here in Tulsa, Oklahoma for warranty repair. Video Revolution said this was a pretty common problem w/ this TV, the boards going out. However, these boards are not in stock at Hitachi and Hitachi has no ETA on getting the parts in. They also require the parts be ordered from them when under warranty, not anyone else.

                                I've been without the TV for roughly 3 and a half months, and and as of today, there's still no ETA on when they will have this part. We spoke with your warranty department at [protected] again today and they can't give me a date on when the part will be shipped out. I don't have use of my cable package or the use of my surround sound system I purchased just for this TV. I talked to your warranty department on 12/31/12 with the same results. Again, my TV has been out since the 1st of November 2012, and has been in the repair shop your company specified since 11/15/12.

                              8-15-05 was purchase date since then numerous service calls(sears repaireman is good at his job), however now that football season is here, for the second time the same problem comes up and I am wihtout my tv last time it broke your man came, ordered parts made repaires +was gone, now he has to take that particular part with him, and have it overhauled, My complaint is, Why did I buy insurance? if parts are hard to come by, why do I not have a tv? this tv has had nothing but problems ever since I got it.I am fed up with sears +Hitachi unless something is done soon I`m going elseware to do bussiness!

                                Hitachi AcPoor Product with worst service

                                Problems with my AC unit from the date of installation are as follows:-
                                o Very Less Cooling.
                                o Poor Airflow.
                                o Takes more time to cool like air cooler.
                                o Sometimes running (operating) whole night to reach the desired temperature but never reached after continuous operation.
                                o Sometimes Compressor stops working or not able to start automatically.
                                o Sometimes thermostat doesn’t cut even reached at (25oC) desired set temperature.
                                o Consumes more electricity.(Approx 25% higher than others)
                                o Automatically switches to OFF mode.
                                o Filter Clean Warning Indicator while filter is cleaned.

                                 Some of false commitment and fake information provided by the dealer and Mr. Ravi Sharma at the time of pre-sales enquiry are as following:-
                                1. Hitachi AC cools faster than OGENERAL, VOLTAS, BLUE STAR and CARRIER.
                                2. Faster and Maximum AIRFLOW.
                                3. Chills the room in a very less time.
                                4. No comparison with SAMSUNG, LG, GODREJ, WHIRLPOOL etc.
                                5. Lowest electricity Consumption.
                                6. No.1 in window AC’s.
                                7. Best after sale support.

                                 Some of the excuses given by dealer:-
                                1. Due to screeching summer it’s less effective. [While others AC is perfectly working]
                                2. They agreed that its flow is slow that’s why it takes time to chill the room. [Double time than others]
                                3. Due to double air flow design, this model has a problem, even they also discussed with company technicians. [Still they are selling and make customer fool]

                                I request you to help me regarding refund my amount as early as possible. After that bad experience, nobody wants to continue with HITACHI. It had not only the manufacturing defect since beginning and act & conduct of Dealer and Company officials also remained rude and irresponsible in providing service the AC Unit to me which certainly proves the deficiency of service. I could not get any resolution for the purpose I purchased moreover I involved in contacting and has thus resulted in physical and mental agony to me.

                                Most of the Indians are cheated by HITACHI due to weak INDIAN Govt. policies and time consuming legal support. These types of foreign companies are continues selling their poor quality products without any hesitation. Indian Govt. should banned these products and apply quality norms strictly as applicable in other countries.

                                    Hitachi after sales service is pathetic...I bought Hitachi Ac and asked them for 2nd service under warranty, their technician spoiled the circuit of my AC and even after that it's near about a week my AC is not working...i have called their customer service more than 100 times(only 5-6 time got connected) and each time that SOP written statement- Sorry for trouble. No resolution for my problem.
                                    Even they don't provide the address of their service center(Vasundhara Ghaziabad). This is b/c their service centers are operating under some house in residential areas which is illegal...they are also breaking the law by running the service centers in residentail areas...

                                    Called Service center more than 200 times in last 5 days but no response, somehow searched the address of their service center and when i reached their I found that they put off their landline phone...

                                    I will not go for any product of Hitachi in future and tell my friends to avoid this company...

                                    Horrible experience...

                                    Unprofessional people...

                                    I want Hitachi to refund the cost of my AC...

                                    Hi recently bought a Hitachi AC 1.5 ton with 5 Star rating.
                                    The AC was installed after a delay of 3 days but did not cool properly.
                                    We used it for some time thinking it will become OK but after about 2 months we legged a complaint to the call centre on 18/June complaint no [protected].
                                    Promptly the service Desk executive informed us that the compakint would be solved within 48 hours. I called the desk again on 20/June as no response came from Hitachi.
                                    They escalated the call but still no response till 22/June where I had to call again.
                                    The last call I gave was 24/June and till the neither the SD nor anyone in the department had any clues on what is the status of the call and why the SLAbreach has happened. All they ke saying that the matter has been again sent totheNoidaservice centre. I am unabletouse the AC inthehot weather and the whole purpose orbiting the AC is getting defeated. Also I had heard very good feedback onHitachi products but after my experience withtheHitachi product I will never buy products from Hitachi again.
                                    I would like Hitachi to take back the AC and refund my entire amount

                                    I had purchased hitachi follow me ac, model no. RAV 023EQD on 18th april 2010 from Malhotra Enterprises which is an authorised dealer of hitachi in delhi ncr.On 30th may 2012 at 130am the ac started emitting smoke and immediately caught fire.This was disastrous as the ac burnt down completely and the fire spread to other areas of the room. Such a technical blunder from an appliance such as an ac is completely unacceptable, as, if i was asleep at that hour of the night my family (which includes my two year old daughter) and i would have died that night. We have yet to come to terms with the horror that has happened. I hope that this grave incident is looked into at the earliest and i be compensated for all the damages caused.

                                    I purchased Hitachi AC thinking the product is good. I experienced very bad customer service. I purchased it on 4th April in Rathna Fan house in Chennai and the ac got delivered to my on 6th April 2010.
                                    Till date (10th april 2010), the AC have not yet installed. I called immediately to the number given by the dealer for the installation, they informed it will be installed the next day on 7th. However, they haven't turned back. I called again and again the next day, the number was swtiched off and the other number was always busy. Once I got the line and shouted at them to install, they called after 5 mins and informed it will be done by next day 10th April and again it was a lie from them . I contacted Dealer to get the number, found the hitachi customer support haven't booked my order to install the AC. This is the worst service I ever experienced from a MNC company that too. Almost I have called all the known numbers in Hitachi and nothing has worked out. Please let me know how should I proceed with this. How can I file a consumer Complaint on this.

                                  Conn's - 60& Hitachi LCDWarranty Delays

                                  I purchased A TV back in 2003. A 60" Hitachi LCD projection. My warranty lasted 5 years. It was up in December 08. During my coverage I had 3 light engines go out. The first time it took them a month to replace it. The second time it took them a few months, the third time it took them over 6 months to finally come and replace it blaming it on parts availability. I talked to the service manager at the service department and he told me they would extend my warranty for another year. I never received any documentation regarding this. Now it is almost July and my TV is going out on me again. I hope when I call they will honor this extended year that was promised to me. If not, I would like to know how to join the lawsuit.

                                    I have Hitachi Air Conditioner by my bad luck because of its outer fan is brokan by some mishave and i search it everwhere in my city and out of cities all of your vendours in my country but i didnot find it any where so my Air conditioner is useless without its outer fan.
