I am writing to formally report concerns regarding the contents of two safe deposit boxes I purchased during a federal seized property auction on June 20, 2026.

Upon receiving the items on June 30, 2026, I conducted an inspection and testing of the contents. I found that a 75g bar, which appeared to be gold, tested negative for precious metal. Furthermore, the jewelry in both boxes was found to be costume jewelry.

Of particular concern is evidence suggesting that these boxes may have been staged. Each box contained a gold coin with identification numbers that are only two digits apart. Given that these were two separate auction lots, the proximity of these serial numbers and the lack of authentic items in either box are highly irregular.

I request a review of these auction lots and guidance on the process for dispute or refund based on these findings. I look forward to your prompt response regarding this matter.
