I purchased a Cruise P3 Sofa and Cruise P3 Recliner for $4,695.55 on 2/26/2025. The units have bluetooth for sound, vibration, massager and heat.
After 1 week they stopped working except the massager and heat and this is when the nightmare started. I reported this to the Sales manager who sold me the units and he said they would take care of it.
After months of lies, run arounds I sent a certified letter to the CEO.
I sent it to the wrong store and after checking I found it was still at the wrong store in the office for 13 days.
I obtained the phone number for the main office and called. I left a message on voicemail about the letter and my complaint. I received a call within an hour stating the letter would be in their office that day. seeing how the store I sent it to was only 40 miles away sounded logical. I was wrong. Calls to the main store was met with, did not receive it yet, it is being worked on, we were short people sue to a conference in Canada. Each call I was assured a call back with the name of the person handling my complaint. I am still waiting for those calls some 20 days later.
On May 14, 2025 I again sent a certified letter mot the Owner/CEO Mary Brown. This is May 20, 2025 and still no reply. We are past being patient. I would like a refund but not holding my breath.
There is no doubt that Hanks does not intend to answer my complaint so so I plan on taking them to Small Claims Court.
They may have good sales personal but that's where it stops. They treat customers with complaint as idiots with no respect or concern that hard earned money was spent at their store. I am retired and don't like to waste my money
Claimed loss: $4695.65
Desired outcome: Refund

They spent almost five thousand on a so-called “high-tech” sofa that merely morphed into an overpriced heated paperweight; they went completely silent after it malfunctioned. You did your part, followed all the steps like sending certified mail, and they did not respond — classic ghosting. That goes beyond subpar service, that is deliberate stonewalling. You're absolutely justified going to Small Claims Court — or disputing their claim. It's the sole form of communication these clowns comprehend. For every deceit and postponement, force them to justify it in front of a judge.
