Hair Club For Men hair loss

I initially visited Hair Club For Women in Houston, TX two years ago because of the lack of hair around my hairline. During the first visit I was told by the manager and another representative their hair treatment and products are proved to be safe and if I was not satisfied they would correct the problem until I was completely satisfied. I was wearing a lace front wig at the time and asked them if their system was the same or similar to applying a lace front wig with glue. The manager, Kim, told me their system and the technology they used were completely different and "No", it was not like applying a lace wigs and glue (an absolute lie). I was then pressured into a $4000 contract whereby I would receive guaranteed satisfaction with products and services with my own stylist. It took about two months before I received a call back from them to inform me of my first appointment to receive my "Hair System." After a few months of visits with different stylists ( not my own personal stylist as promised during the initial consultation) I was told I needed a perm. The perm was incorrectly applied and/or the incorrect type of perm was used which caused my hair to come out. During one visit the stylists shaved my hair around the hair line to apply glue and tape. After complaining about my hair loss the manager suggested and agreed to EXT treatments to regrow and strengthen my hair then attempted to charge me for them . The last wig I received was so horrible ( brittle and hard) I refused to let them reapply it after being removed for a wash. At that point I was told by the manager she would order another hair system and contact me when it arrived. I has now been three months and the manager refuses to take and/or return my calls.

I am considering hiring an attorney to file suit against the company . I am also in agreement with others interested in filing a class action lawsuit against this ripoff company, Hair Club For Women in Houston, Texas, which takes advantage of women in a vulnerable situation who are seeking a means to improve their physical appearance.

Hair Club For Men charged me for no service and refused to give a refund.

I went in for a free analysis at the hairclub on Nov14th 2017 and the lady convinced me into getting a treatment worth $3000 She rushed me to sign an agreement which she didn't even give me the time to read and made me do a $500 down payment right there . after 7day after the lady calls me back and asks for a photo of my credit card front and back. It sounded fishy and I called my bank and told them the whole thing, they warned me not to do so.. hence I asked for my down payment back which they refused. I read so many similar complains of them rushing you into signing the documents and not getting good results . Hence I decided not to continue. It is a total fraud. I haven't even got a single treatment yet and they have my money some stupid policy. I want my money back !

Hair Club For Men hair club

I am currently trying to file a $4.6 million dollar law suit against them if they don't return my $4600 within 30 days.. I tried to get Xtrands done in October 2017 and was told I needed to do Xtrands Plus. I said. Okay. Come to find out. Thats just a toupe that goes on top of your head. I looked ridiculous. I came back the following day for them to remove it. They did and tried to get e to do surgery and apply the funds. I refused. So here we are. We shall see. I don't have time for False Adveritisment.in this video, they conveniently did not show anything that has to do with a toupe..

Hair Club For Men xtrands

Last year around this time, I set up an appointment for a "free consolation".I was told that they would tell me the reason behind my hair loss.
All they did was take pictures and tell me which treatments would fit me best. First I was told surgery would be the best option, but they decided that the Xtrands procedure would be better for me. Me being 19 years old at the time was willing to do anything to get my hair back. I was then showed the costs of the treatment (around $4, 400) and was pushed to open two credit cards to pay for the Xtrands.
I honestly felt like I was taken advantage of when I walked out the building, but still decided to give it a shot. My first xtrand treatment was scheduled for two weeks later. The whole process took about an hour and you could tell a slight difference in the hair. After inserting the Xtrands, they shampooed my hair and I could already feel them falling off...
They felt like little hard plastic hairs inserted into your scalp. I was embarrassed when my girlfriend would run her hands through my hair and feel little rocks inserted in my hairline. Each morning I would wake up to countless xtrands around my bed. I'd lose about 10 of them each time I took a shower.
They also don't warn you not to use a comb... My hair was impossible to comb and design. I've been close to crying because of this, but had no choice but to move on. I'm pretty much making car payments for a plastic hair piece at the age of 19...
I only went to two salon appointments and decided it was enough. Now that all the Xtrands are gone, my hair looks worse than when I first walked in for my first treatment. I followed all the directions while doing the treatments and truly regret the day I walked into Houston's Hair Club.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I had a fantastic experience with Hair Club and would highly recommend it. I've taken my hair loss very personally and I'm been insecure for so many years but thank God for Hair Club because now I can socialize and date with confidence ! ! Every location is different so it all depends on the quality of your stylist and the culture of the center. I"m sure not all locations are created equal but my experience in the Sarasota location was phenomenal !

Hair Club For Men I am being sued by hairclub after canceling my contract

After being a hair club member for 3 years I decided it was time to let my hair grow out . The glue was starting to really irritate my scalp to the point where I would get really bad infections . I approached Hank the owner and told him my situation and that I chose to cancel my membership he told me I would have to pay for the next 3 months which I did 8 months later I get a notice In mail that he is suing me for the remainder of my contract 9 months x 429 month I couldn't believe it ! I left on good terms paid the 3 months like he asked I only got services no new hair in in fact the last month I didn't even go I took hair off myself mailed it back and I still paid for the month ! I will call corporate office I don't understand how he thinks he can rip people off like this Hank is very dishonest . My monthly fee was 429 and he asked if I can pay cash this way he wouldn't have to pay corporate fees and in return he would give me extra services I even paid 2500 membership fee in cash . My husbands coworker went there and experienced the same thing Hank sued him in court after he gave him written notice of cancellation he got 850 from him and at end of court session he said to him with smirk on his face sorry pal you should have sent certified mail then laughed in his face .How does this man sleep at night I would never recommend Hairclub to my worst enemy

Hair Club For Men customer service

First of all, I wanted to give this establishment zero stars. I've been a client here for over 3 years. I usually never leave any reviews whether negative or positive, but, this place has given me no choice. Most of the hairstylists here are phenomenal, I said most. (Isabel) the others, just # you can pretend they really care about you. But in reality they just want you up there chair to take the next client. Most stylists dont even have the time to have there own lunch break and the company itself are more for quantity that quality. The quality of these dried up, cheap hairpieces reflect those who run this san francisco office. I understand they are a business, they need money to run it and pay for their binge drinking training classes, their rent, the employees and let's not forget about them. The manager, I won't say her name, she's more fake then my prosthetic right leg. She gets a little flirtatious in order for you to upgrade. Actually most of the women working there too. But they don't know that i'm not into women. It's just really funny to think they can sell or try to sell what little sex appeal they have to me and other unsuspecting clients. I just want all of you people reading this to really do your homework, yes it's expensive, and a pain in the butt to go here every time for a service. I don't regret going here to get hair. It has changed my life, and too busy to go here to get my hair done. I do miss most of the hairstylists there. If they're still there. I just want to say be cautious when calling or even trying to join this place. One thing they do, is make you look good, but feel good, not really. Only at the beginning you'll feel like they care and want to help you. Really, they rather help you get out that credit card or checking account number to take your money. Btw, it's not the money, never was, I could afford the cost, I just couldn't tolerate the rudeness and unprofessional receptionist representing hair club. There job is to answer phones. And best believe you will never get a recall back and if there so extremely bizy they promise they will return the phone call. That phone call will never be return. And most of her minions. So please, run away, far away! And don't ever look back, I regret every minute of my life doing what I did with hair club I though this company was professional

Hair Club For Men polyfuse and hair loss

I have been a client of hair club for a number of years and during my years as a client i never noticed the situation which was about to come years later. When the use of polyfuse (Glue) would be applied to your scalp (Which your hair has been shaved down) and then the matrix system adhered the polyfuse would hold for a period of time, now to take the matrix system off your scalp the clinician applies a liquid and starts to pull and buzz the matrix off your scalp, leaving behind after years of doing this, what is known as traction alopecia, which is caused by a pulling force. If you have traction alopecia, your clinician will not tell you this, but you will notice a bright smooth spot on your scalp and when you touch this area it will feel smooth and you will not feel any hair nubs. This area will never grow hair back. You might notice it on the back of your scalp along the sides or even the front. If this sounds like you might have traction alopecia, please join me in a class action suit against hair club. You can e-mail me at: [protected]@kgglaw.com

Hair Club For Men their refusal to issue a refund

I contacted the Hair Club of Hauppauge, New York back in early December 2015 because of continuing hair loss. I met with their representative Bob and was very impressed by his assurance that they could help me. He showed me examples of hair replacement and assured me I would be able to have a lot of hair and be able to style it anyway I chose. He also informed me I had to come to their facility every 4-6 weeks to have my hair done and it would cost $119 each time because my hair was short (normally its $129) I finally got my hair piece in early January 2016. The stylist, Maria, showed me some hairstyles and I picked one I liked but said numerous times that I did not want it too short. She ignored me and proceeded to cut the hair so short it stood up straight on the top of my head (very poor job, it looked chopped). I expressed my concerns numerous times and on my next visit they added some hair to the front which was much better (and charged me $129 even though I told them it was supposed to be $119). Unfortunately, every time I washed and combed my hair many pieces fell out. I finally went to two hairdressers who stated the piece is of very poor quality. I had it removed and had to pay for a wig since they shaved my head on top. I am so disappointed in every aspect of this experience. The hair was nothing like I was told and both Bob and Maria did not seem to care for my concerns at all. I would just like a partial refund of my $2000 as the piece and experience were not at all worth that kind of money. Please let me know if you can help.

Hair Club For Men they don't tell you the truth!

The Hair Club in Milwaukee Wi is very dishonest . At your consultation they tell you you don't need to get plugs or surgery and that they will solve it and put your hair back and you will have full long hair again very fast. My next appointment there was a wig(matrix) hanging and I asked about it. She said that was my hair that was going to be blended in with my own hair. Next thing I know she is taping and gluing to my own hair. After two weeks of wearing it my head was completely red, Hurt, and it was pulling my hair. My next appointment they took it off and had it off for a few days so my redness will go away. A few days later they want to do shave the top of my head so the next one would not pull my hair or do that. So I agreed. Now I have a new one on and my Head itches, and hurts, and I have a headache daily. I drive three hours to go to this place. So I asked them after my year is up then what? Two women sat with me and both beat around the bush about their programs that they have and how much it will cost at $120 an hour or they have plans. Also that you can only get their shampoo or after that if you do have a plan with them. So now what? If I take this off I am shaved bald, and if I take it off a year from now when my plan is up I will have little itty-bitty spikes. Being a woman this is extremely devastated. I have talk to the manager many times. When I went in there I thought I was going to be having surgery and getting my hair to regrow. All I got was a $4600 wig, that you don't even get to keep. They tell you in your contract that you get 4 matrix... So when I asked about when they give me my new one about me keeping the old one they told me that I do not get to keep any of them except for the last one. What BS! Paying $4600 for what? I'm extremely disappointed and I would not suggest this company to anyone! People check out Bosley instead

When i choose to have a hair treatment, they tell me that all my hair problems it will gone, one of my issues is the i lose hair, and on the top of my hair it was forming a spot of not hair. When i went for my appointments i always told them that i was still loosing hair, the answer was because i have to lose the old hair for the new hair grow up. Hair Club For Men this is a scam. buyer beware..

Do you have 290 dollars a month to spend on your hair? I was thrilled after I got my first hairpiece from HCM. All was good for about six weeks. Then they presented me with their"affordable packages." If I wanted to keep this look I would need a new wig every 10 weeks. My Stylist, her name is Melanie, of Oak Brook, Illinois, was very sweet and nice to me UNTIL I started to question things. I called her on the phone and expressed my surprise as to what this was REALLY going to cost me. She became like a different person. Suddenly very short and to the point. Acted "surprised" that I didn't know the true costs. After doing a bit of research, I discovered that you can do all of this yourself at a fraction of the cost. You can get the hair for about 200 dollars. You don;t need the stupid glue. Use the tape product. If you take it off at night it will last many months longer. Almost any hair cutting place has someone who will place it on your head and style it for no more than about thirty bucks. Stay away from Hair Club for Men. They are snake oil salesman.

Hair Club For Men satisfaction far from &guaranteed&

I've had 3 hair transplants with Hair Club over the last 5 years...and hardly anything grew for me. Dr Duncan Simmons then moved out of state after my last transplant and has not contacted me or even seems interested in helping me out. Hair Club insists that my hair did grow...but I know damn well what I look like in the mirror. Now I'm out 25 grand, have a very noticeable scalp, and a permanent scar in the back of my head. I'm beyond upset. Hair Club absolutely ruined my life...plain and simple .

They called it Matrix. They said don't worry you'll love it, we said ok as long as its not a wig. To us it was a wig. It looked fake, but they told us he has to come back for...

Hair Club For Men waste of money

Spent almost $3, 000 to become worse off than I was before. They don't tell you that you will have to use the products for the rest of your life. They don't tell you that you can only get the product from them if you are paying them money monthly after you pay them the $2, 500. You can get financing from them. You get no reminders of the date it must be paid by. It is hidden in the fine print of the bill. I was charged $535 interest on the $400 balance I had when my time was up. Very unhappy. Total waste of money. They only care about getting your money, they could care less if they make you balder than you were before.

Hair Club For Men dishonest and fraud

Hello...I have found this site far too late. I have already paid Hair Club LA almost $4000 and i have given the wig which is glued to my head. I must say that i went in with thinning hair and i thought they would enhance my own hair which is what they told me at the consultation. after many questions they never showed or gave the me the answer to "what is it that you will use?" They took the matrix off last week and i almost had a heart attack. my own hair has fallen off so much already and i am bald in front. i had asked them continously if the glue and matrix will not effect my own hair because i was just trying this out and wanted to have my options open for later. they assured me that my own hair will continue to grow and that there was no harm. They lied big time since i saw the results after three months. i want to go back tomorrow and have it removed and don't even know what to do after. i used to be able to walk outside normally with being a bit concerned about my hair. but now i cant since i am really bald in the front! has anyone fought and got anywhere with these people. what is the first step i should take to get my money back and also get compensated for my aggrevation and despair. can someone help me please.

I just wrote them an email about my issue at the Mississauga clinic..to customer service and will wait to see if I get a response..I threatened to take other actions...they three time gave me the wrong too dark color and this time the stylist cut it too short without me seeing it first and allowing ME to make the decision on how I would like it...and now they tell me "well your contract is near end" "you have to pay more to continue"...even though the last install was well within the last two months of the contract...they just took my $5000. and won't help me anymore...all lies from them is what I've been getting...I know now for sure because of the results now and what I was told before and during...they dragged me along making me think everything will be all right.."Trust them" they kept telling me...I decided this last piece not to use that "glue" because of the mess it made after...now with just the tape it is clean and I will do it my self for now...it's been holding fine for a week now...just wish they did'nt ruin the last hair.*john

Ok, so where do I begin. Let me start by saying that by choosing this company I made the worst choice in my life. Imagine a company taking 400-500 dollars from your bank account every month automatically w/out being able to give you appts to actually use the service because they are always low on resources, giving you a sub-standard service (hair cuttery's service is 10 times better), giving you awful haircut that i wouldn't even spend $ 14 outside, almost always getting the wrong order, size, color, etc. and then arguing with you. Imagine your head being shaved off from the middle because of using them and then being stuck with them. Don't Do It!
I have been with them for over a year now and have seen almost all of their stylists, so believe me when I say that they don't know what the heck they are doing. All they know is how to glue a matrix to your head after getting it wrong a few times or applying too little or too much glue. Other than that please don't expect them to either have the time or skills to give you a decent haircut, hair color or style. The only person who knows how to cut hair is their supervisor who only sees selected few people. Rest are ALL bad. They also keep constantly complaining about the mgmt. and are usually in a foul mood. Recently a couple of them had a list of names of people in their room w/ the type of package those people have purchased and what they need to have them convince to upgrade. One the stylist was hell bent on having me upgrade n proceeded to convey me by telling me that I am getting a very cheap product by spending over $5000 per year and must upgrade otherwise my skin is going to have issues by using the substandard matrix they were putting on me and I will be able to come more frequently. When I told her that I already have a few months where you guys are booked solid and are unable to have me come in (keep in mind they are still collecting for the month "they" are unable to accommodate), how can I come in more frequently? She replied, "you will be considered an important client then, so they will be able to accommodate you".

So, after going through the actual staff, let me take you through the contracting process. Their reps lie through their teeth. I was told that after signing the initial contract and forking out several thousand dollars upfront, I will have their membership and after the first four months, i will only need to pay up-to $90 for any given appt. of course this was a big fat lie and after four months they came over to me and asked me to sign another contract w/ them, when I mentioned the $90 option, they said that option does not include matrix and only includes haircut, if you need matrix, it would be over $1500 every time you get it. What could I do? my head was shaved in the middle, I was in the middle of the appt and the new rep was breathing on my neck... I signed the contract. But I hope you don't make this mistake.

As for facility, please note air conditioner doesn't work during summer, all stylist complain about it non-stop and some have even brought their own fans or keep the doors open while working on you. Contrary to what they say, privacy is not available in there, w/ the doors open during summer and random people coming and opening the door while your stylist is out (to get your matrix) is a norm and there goes your privacy and self respect out the door b/c you are sitting w/ a giant shaved spit in the middle of your head.

This place is involved in fraudulent and unethical practices. Please stay away. I am trying to find another alternative right now. I will update everyone once I find a good alternative or if this company makes necessary changes and takes a 360 turn in terms of their services.

Sorry if I misspelled anything, as I am typing from a tiny keyboard on my iphone :-)

Thank you
