An Irate Indian Customer of a Chinese Product
I bought a Haier Air conditioner, a Chinese make about a year back. It was cooling my bedroom to some extent, which I thought was the maximum possible by an A/C in the hot climate of Delhi.
When the warranty period was about to get completed, (Thank God it happened on time) my wife found that it is not going below a certain temperature. Then I lodged a complaint with the Haier, who assured me that the complaint would be attended to within 24 hours. 24 hours, but then I never thought that 24 hours was going to be such a long one. It took three 24 hours and no one seemed to attend to my problem. Whenever I called the call centre, they would verify all the details and ask me “Sir Has no one still attended to your complaint?” I became the information provider to them. They would set a reminder to the concerned department and see that the service personnel attended to my problem in 24 hours. Another three such 24 hours went and by now I was working better than that call centre executives in replaying the same old messages. Then I had to go to the dealer from whom I purchased this A/C. The person there took this on priority and tried to get it resolved. It took another 3 days for them to find out a solution. We, on the other hand sent a mail to Haier about their service and to my surprise I did not even receive an automatic reply from their end. My attempts to get through the team leader and the manager of the call centre did not materialize as they were in meeting always (Probably to find out a solution on how to dodge the customers).
At last after more than 10 days someone dropped in and serviced my A/C and it looked that I could get it done finally.
But , my happiness was short lived (less than a week) and one fine day when I switched on the A/C there was a spark on it and the electric supply to my whole home went off. Not to mention that, the AC stopped working. I called the electrician of my society to find out that there are full of loose connections in the wiring between the stabilizer and AC, which was done during the so called Service by the Haier’s authorized service personnel.
Now again the same story, get a complaint number from the call centre and this time they gave a contact for the service provider, who in turn advised us to get in touch with another. The third person contacted again directed us to another person, who is supposed and will send somebody who could fix my problem.
During my first call he told me that he will arrange someone to get my A/c fixed on that day itself, but after that I am not able to reach him as he doesn’t answer the phones and I cannot reach any of the persons above except the call centre. The call centre has the same answer ‘They will set a reminder and see that someone attends the problem in 24 hours’. And I am still counting my 24 hours and having sleepless nights in this cool summer of Delhi...
New AC broke in days, service closed case unfixed

We had taken a distribution of a mobile handest from a company acting as national distributor for the mobile manufacturing company.
While starting the distribution we had given a letter on our letter head stating all the conditions agreed by both the companies on which we have acknowledgment of their Regional Manager.
In that letter it was mention that
1. whenever company revise the price they will provide us the price protection.
2. Service center will be the responisility of National Distributor and Manufacturing company.
Now the handsets which we had purchased from the National Distributor turned out to be of poor quality and hence there were lot of service related problems, also service centers are till date not equipped with the required spare parts, due to which it was difficult to sale the material in the market, which we had informed to the country head of National Distributor, but he again and again assured us that the problem related to service will get resolved within someday of time. which in reality didn't took place.
Also since last two to three months our 40 handsets are lying with service centre but they dont have spare parts and hence they not able to provide the service.
one fine day National Distributor adopted unethical practice and sold all the lot of mobile handset directly in our operating territory without any prior information to us at less then half the price at what they had billed to us.
Then we had asked them to provide us the price protection on the stock we were holding, but then they are not at all responding to our queries. Due to which we had been force to book a big loss, without any of our mistake. Stay away Haier Mobiles!
Do not purchase any product made by Haier. My microwave stopped heating just after the warrentee was expired except for the magnetron which has a two year warrentee. It doesn't matter because Haier refused to do anything about it. These products are garbage and do not last. If you have a problem, you can forget about service.

I purchased the handset on 24 aug 2007 and i faced problem that it stopped charging suddenly after 16 days on 11 sep 2007 i went there they told me its main board has to be changed it is under warannty and they said after 15days we will call you and we will repair it now it has been 2 months now they dint called me and whenever i called them they are not responding to me and today when i called so they misbehaved i said them that i will go to consumer court so they said that do whatever you want even there manager also not responding to me i said replace my handset with other even this they are not doing any thing.
i am using samsung HC-C6000 since last 1 year and device is stopped functioning now. since 1 year i hv faced many issue related to software and hardware. now the device is stopped working and showing me the error UI0000.

I have haier duel sim handset i.e. Z702-Double.Here the vibrating mode could not work even i had changed it into vibrating mode.

i have purchased haier mobile model d1200 in april 08 the piece is so bad that in six months both batteries are useless and piece is hanged daily

I have brought Haier mobile on 14/01/08 model no D1200, with in one month it got repaired. I gave the mobile for servicing, First they informed me about motherboard is notworking "we may replace the mobile please come after a week" accordingly i went and they informed that" we will get repired instead of replacing please come after another week, finally theay gave the repaired one after twoo weeks with lot of harrassement and time consumed. After one month again the same problem, the same story repeated but they repaired the set out of way. Once again the problem is as usual, now the mobile is in servece center, GOD knows when they will give to me...totally all these process take more than 1 month lapse for my usage of mobile, these thing make me lot of harrassement and loss of important contacts and time.so i request the haier company to kindly return back the money or giving another model which is proved in the market atleast in the warranty period the mobile should work.
How come you guy not buying warranty which is only cost less than $20 in Walmart for 3 years? I will save your headache, if the ac is broken, it can be replaced with a new one.
I bought this product on 7/1/13 in Rockford, IL I did not start using this item until 8/6/13 when I arrived at my new house in Florida someone stole the central ac before I got here and by 8/14/2013 the product quit blowing cold air. I called Haier on 8/18/2013 which call center is in the Philippines so understanding them is difficult. They gave me a ticket number and told me a repair shop would be calling me to fix this item within 24-48 hours gave me the phone number, the next day Haier called me told me they would have the repair shop call me (Monday). Thursday I called the repair shop after no call. They said they do not even work on AC units. I called Haier back they referred me to another company gave me a new ticket order and said another 24-48 hours to schedule an appt. I called on that Friday the 23rd. They said it would be the 5th of September before they could get out for the appt. I said can you fix it sooner if I bring it in. They said YES! September 4th this company had an automated system call to remind me of my appointment. I called the next day and asked if my AC unit was completed she said no it is sitting on the testing table. I said ok great can you find out when this unit will be ready or what is going on? She said she will have the repair guy call me no call back. I called the next day same story oh I will make sure no matter what he calls you. Monday 9th I called and told them I would like to speak to the manager or owner. He got on the phone and stated the seal was broken and the air compressor it will probably be replaced because it is too much. He already turned the report in to Haier. So I hang up with this man after lecturing him about his follow through techniques. I instantly call Haier they say it is in the review dept with the engineers in the verification department. I call back the next day and the day after that and so on. I said every time I call you tell me that you are going to call me back and I get nothing. One guy said I will call you back and he left me a voicemail at 12pm when I asked him if he could call me after 6 pm Eastern Time. He knew nothing because he could not get a hold of the engineers in the verification department. On September 17th I emailed the company no response back. On Wednesday the 18th I called and refused to be put off again which they did try and demanded to speak with someone in the engineer verification department. They finally put through and the guy asked me to email him my receipt which I did with the box that had my serial number attached to it for more proof. This man told me he was locating a new unit and would have it sent out immediately and I should have it no later then Saturday Sept. 21 since it was going to be shipped from Georgia to Florida. Today is Sunday September 22nd no AC unit and no email back from the company. This company is horrible if they would of sent me a refund I would not of bought another unit from them. I would of went with LG as it is 100 degrees in Florida and we have one small AC unit that has been running the whole month and has done a great job. Also this AC unit is very loud.
I bought 2 of these AC's last year at a walmart store. Both didn't last 2 months. Contacted the company with the run around. Will not buy any of their products again. Ended up buying 3 AC's at Sears. All are Kenmore's and those work fine today.
People beware of Haier junk products!
We purchase a ac on 4th June and install on same day but its not working from 8th June I called so many times to their people but no one can listen to us and no one can attend the complaint.
I read great reviews on the Haier 8000 btu a.c. and man were they ever B.S. From day one I could tell it was not a good unit. The 6000 fridgadare cooled my room much better, I think this one is going back to Lowes.
I have Haier AC, to get it serviced, I tried vied their web page service number but nobody was picking the phone...then I put a complaint but no use... I think it is better to stop buying the Chinese products..
I bought Haier 4 Ton AC for my 14x17 feet room. Its $1, 500 worth of junk. This is my first purchase of Haier and I wish that I read the reviews here before buying such an expensive item from them. The outdoor compressor starts for 5 minutes and indoor unit throws cool air, but after 5 minutes, outdoor unit shuts down and will not start again for 10-15 minutes, by the time compressor starts again the room is hot, and this is at the lowest temperature setting.
Never Buy Haier. You have been warned.
Paid $200 for my Haier AC unit...it has such large vent openings on the top of the outer part of AC housing, it allows LIZARDS to crawl into the unit; of course they die, and I really have no way of getting them entirely out of the unit! Outside water drainage has also ALWAYS been a problem, as well. Now, the unit has begun to drain INSIDE my home, even though it is properly tilted to the outside, has plenty of air flow inside and out, the filter is cleaned weekly, and both inside/outside coils are CLEAN, for proper air flow! Obviously, the drain hole somewhere INSIDE the unit is clogged, and it is NOT something I can fix! I've had the unit less than 2 years, and actually returned 2 units to Walmart within the 30 day purchase period, for poor manufacturing, AND...one unit actually had rust on the bottom of the pan right out of the BOX! I now have a call in to Haier, and spoke w/a Supervisor about these issues of this MOST POORLY designed AC unit! VERY upset, and would NOT recommend a Haier AC unit to ANYONE! Oh, BTW - Walmart no longer even carries Haier AC units, and NOW I KNOW WHY!

This was the worst possible thing i think ive ever boughten! Haier AC sucks will not go below 75 and my room is TINYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ... and all that wasted effort trying to put it together and get it in my window ..F###### Piece of S### SOOOOO MADDD! >()
I bought HAIER WASHING MACHINE in June 2006 of PkRs.27000/= when 2009 comes i face problem then i call to Haier Service Center in Sargodha Pakistan. They gave very quick services and uplift it for fix problem. After checking they asked that some parts are faulty which will come from china. hopefully your complaint will solve in one month. It's unbelievable but it's true that after 07 months their statment is same when parts come then they fix problem. I make calls to their head office in Pakistan, mails their official address, but you people will surprised no response. Now i am contacting consumer court in sargodha Pakistan.
DON'T BUY HAIER. You'll regret it...Please don't buy Haier it have world's poor after sale services...
