Gym Company review: Cancellation of membership

To whom it may concern,

I submitted a police affidavit to The Gym Company in Winchester Hills, JHB South on Thursday, 20 February stating my wish to cancel my gym membership as I am currently unemployed. I was advised that my membership will be frozen for the next 3 months and will have to pay R40 per month for the next 3 months. Please note that I am not employed and will not be in a position to even afford R40 a month. I need the membership to be cancelled permanently as any prospects of future employment are bleak! Please assist as I cannot afford to have gym membership when I do not even know where my next meal will be coming from. I was told that i would have to pay in the amount of R8000 to cancel my membership as my contract only expires in 3 years time. Please kindly assist by resolving this issue. I am really desperate.
