I joined the GYM in Braamfontein last year in October however i later on realized the inconvenience as i work in Midrand and live in Boksburg. Within two weeks (the trail period) which i was advised would be for free, i sent communication on the GYM Company website stating that i am cancelling.
I have been receiving messages stating that my account is overdue. After a number of attempts to call back someone finaly answered and i spoke to a lady with attitude by the name of Nolwazi. At first she would not give me her name because "its not necessary" ... She advised that i would have to go to the gym to cancell and i pointed out that i have no time as i stay far from the gym and i also happen to work far from braamfontein hence my cancellation.

I’ve been trying to cancel my gym membership for months now. Sales consultants are rude saying that my account is overdue and I need to make payments before cancellation. I’ve been requesting to cancel since September and now response via email but they want me to make payment ASAP! I work in PTA and live in Randburg so of cause I can’t use the gym due to travelling. I don’t have an access card never collected it so why can they not assist me rather than telling me that it will affect my credit?

Gym companies are theives. I joined at flora center in February 2021 and that is the day I will live to regret. They take money from my account as they please. My date for debt was the last day of the month and they take money on the 24th. I asked them and they apologized and promised it won't happen again but the next month it happened again. They then debited 399 on the 24 then 199 on the 25th and 399 on the 13th of the following month. I got pissed off and called and a lady with an attitude answered me saying yes we take it and won't return it coz u guys eat money and forget the gym. So meaning signing with them they do what they want with your money. I can't even use my bank account now. Can I be blacklisted if I just stop paying coz I heard someone saying they are nolonger registered with the itc

gym company has been debiting R399 from my bank account for a membership i did not agree upon, my bank account is forever overwithdrawn because of the company and i always have to pay the bank for a failed debit order. in november 2020 i met a guy from gym company at westgate shopping centre roodepoort, this guy was recruiting people i then spoke to him and told him that i already go to planet fitness with my fiance but the problem is its too far and westgate is convinient for me but before i can join let me speak to my fiance first then ill send him a whatsapp message to process the application he then agreed and told me i will get a call from emily once he has submitted the application. i never got back to him, his name is terry. the premium was R99 monthly, in january gym company debited R399 from nowhere, i did not receive a copy of a so called contract, no call from the finance department lady called emily to confirm the debit but it just happened automatically, i got another debit again of R399, i called terry he then told me he no longer works for gym company coz its crap he knows nothing about the R399 and the application being processed.please resolve this

I have been living overseas for the last 2 years now and have only been to gym company for 3 months at the beginning, I tried cancelling my membership with proof of my new job contract in the new country, but my request got denied. Now 2 years later I am still paying for an account I never use and I have been debited double for the passed two months. I understand December is for "service fees" but why this month again?

i signed up because of misleading information, i did not even know it was a 3 year contract .I have never even attended the gym even once.They refuse to cancel my membership and tell me that i need to bring in another member to continue from my account because they losing a client.i do not know what to do because deductions are still going on.its so disappointing to be robbed off like that

Hi my name is Precious Khanyi I did join the Gym company for my son but to the poor service that we got from them they promise to send an sms to notify me to collect the membership card access not even a letter they never what pains me its that I did pay for joining fee but now what they do best is keep on deducting my money but I have never receive my son's access card till today.
