Beware of this Grab driver. He charged an extra 460 Baht to my credit card for my ride from Mercure Hotel Sukhumvit 24 to Don Mueang Airport, Bangkok on 5th February 2025. The toll was only 140 Baht but he charged 400 Baht, and there was nothing that warranted a charge of 200 Baht for "Others". I had only one small cabin bag. Stealing is a crime. I complained to Grab twice via the app within an hour of discovering the issue, and also told them I had reported the matter to the airport police. Grab has not done anything till today.

Claimed loss: 460 Baht

Desired outcome: Return 460 Baht to my credit card

Grab have processed the refund back to my credit card. However, they didn't say what action was taken against the driver.

Grab has set a trap, and they are waiting for you to walk into it. If they neglect their duties, contest the payment with your credit card provider and show evidence of the illegitimate toll charges. Do not stop bothering them through social networks and public grievances – businesses dislike unfavorable publicity.
