So, I got myself a Gotham Steel frying pan a while ago, and I gotta say, it didn't last long. After just three months of normal cooking, the non-stick coating was all scratched up and everything was sticking to the pan. I was pretty bummed out about it, so I called up customer service to see if I could get a refund. But instead of giving me my money back, they told me to use brillo pads to clean the pan. Like, seriously? That didn't work at all, and I was left with a useless pan and no refund.

I recently bought some Gotham Steel pots and pans from Amazon. I decided to try out the larger pot to make some mashed potatoes. The pot had round ends, which was nice because there were no sharp edges. I washed and oiled the pot before using it, as recommended. However, when I was dishing up the mashed potatoes, I noticed some flecks of the finish in the potatoes! I was surprised because the product says you can use metal, just nothing with an edge. Also, the instructions say not to put the pot on the stove at anything higher than low to medium heat. Forget boiling anything!

As for cleaning, the product claims to be dishwasher safe, but I found out that it might damage the pots and pans. So, it's best to hand wash them. I haven't tried using them in the oven, and I don't think I will. I don't trust them enough to test them in there.

Unfortunately, I got rid of the packaging, and I'm older than dirt, so I don't have a camera to post pictures of the recipe or box. I did call the Better Business Bureau to report my experience.

Even worse, cleaning the pans after use became a chore as the stubborn food remnants stuck like glue, requiring significant elbow grease to remove. This was not what we had in mind when we invested our money in this product.

Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. We started noticing metal flakes coming off of the pans, causing us serious concern about the safety of the cookware we were using. We reached out to the company for answers and some form of resolution, but their customer service left much to be desired. They showed no interest in helping us at all, refusing to do anything about our concerns. We even went as far as sending a certified letter to their corporate office, but to our dismay, it was returned to us unclaimed.

In summary, while Gotham Steel's cookware seemed promising with its non-stick surface and modern design, we found it to be disappointing in the long run. With its tendency to stick and its worrisome issues with metal flaking off, we can no longer recommend this cookware. Buyers beware!

After having high hopes for the Gotham Steel non-stick pan, I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. Despite only using it twice for a total of 20 minutes, the inside edge of the pan turned permanently black. Even more frustrating was the fact that the non-stick coating quickly wore off, leading to it sticking after just two months or roughly 20 uses. This is a startlingly short lifespan for a pan, especially considering I have other pans from different brands that have lasted for years with regular usage. Overall, I cannot recommend the Gotham Steel pan based on my personal experience.

A year ago, I eagerly purchased two 9' frypans from gothamsteel.com, lured in by their stylish design and promises of a non-stick surface. However, much to my disappointment, everything I cooked in them began to stick, even when I tried using butter to prevent it. Frustrated, I decided to reach out to Gotham Steel's customer service for assistance. To my dismay, they informed me that I could send the pans back to them, but I would need to pay an additional $9.95 for a replacement.

What's even more absurd is that the number they provided for me to call, ***218, turned out to be a recording about health, rather than a customer service line. This left me feeling incredibly frustrated and ripped off. After all, I had only paid $19.95 for both pans - it was nowhere near worth it.

I must admit, the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. For all the buzz and hype around Gotham Steel's pans, they really underperformed when it mattered most. I would strongly advise against purchasing from them again and would instead recommend looking into other non-stick pans, such as those made with granite, that would likely offer better performance and value for the money.

I recently purchased the Gotham Steel pan set from gothamsteel.com and have unfortunately had some issues with it. I was quite disappointed to find that food stuck to the pan quite easily and even after soaking it for several hours, it was still quite difficult to remove. Additionally, I found that I had to scrub quite hard in order to clean the residue off. I must highlight that I only ever used a blue sponge/scrubber, so there were certainly no issues of mistreatment or over-abuse of the pans. In fact, I have never experienced stickiness with other PTFE coated pans before, which is why I was quite surprised at how easily food stuck to these. I must add that I purchased the Gotham Steel pan set from Costco and unfortunately experienced the same issues with both of the pans. Overall, I must say that I am quite let down by the performance of the pans and would not recommend them to others who are looking for a high-quality, non-stick frying pan set.
