Gotham Steel

A year ago, I eagerly purchased two 9' frypans from gothamsteel.com, lured in by their stylish design and promises of a non-stick surface. However, much to my disappointment, everything I cooked in them began to stick, even when I tried using butter to prevent it. Frustrated, I decided to reach out to Gotham Steel's customer service for assistance. To my dismay, they informed me that I could send the pans back to them, but I would need to pay an additional $9.95 for a replacement.

What's even more absurd is that the number they provided for me to call, ***218, turned out to be a recording about health, rather than a customer service line. This left me feeling incredibly frustrated and ripped off. After all, I had only paid $19.95 for both pans - it was nowhere near worth it.

I must admit, the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. For all the buzz and hype around Gotham Steel's pans, they really underperformed when it mattered most. I would strongly advise against purchasing from them again and would instead recommend looking into other non-stick pans, such as those made with granite, that would likely offer better performance and value for the money.

I recently purchased the Gotham Steel pan set from gothamsteel.com and have unfortunately had some issues with it. I was quite disappointed to find that food stuck to the pan quite easily and even after soaking it for several hours, it was still quite difficult to remove. Additionally, I found that I had to scrub quite hard in order to clean the residue off. I must highlight that I only ever used a blue sponge/scrubber, so there were certainly no issues of mistreatment or over-abuse of the pans. In fact, I have never experienced stickiness with other PTFE coated pans before, which is why I was quite surprised at how easily food stuck to these. I must add that I purchased the Gotham Steel pan set from Costco and unfortunately experienced the same issues with both of the pans. Overall, I must say that I am quite let down by the performance of the pans and would not recommend them to others who are looking for a high-quality, non-stick frying pan set.
