Gibson University

I received a bachelors degree from this online Gibson University in 2015. Paid full tuition fees. They had a website up. Interactive teachers . Seemingly a full training program with training and exams.
But, when I tried to further my education with it. I am being told that the university never existed. This is a travesty. It causes you to lose faith in online higher learning.
Though I must take some responsibility for not fully checking all of the credentials.

I was too studying with such fake university which was gibson I started my course in 2014 and after finishing almost half of my course I dont know someone frm the ministry of affairs called me saying its a gake university and my name is already in the illegal activities with them and they will deport me from this country if I dnt clear my name and to clear my name that person gave me a mail which was geoare.org I contacted them and they told me to get an admission letter frm any university and then they will provide me with the clearance letter bt I failed to do so, so they asked for some money and I paid and they sent a mail giving a badge id saying until u dnt get ur clearance letter keep this with u and the process for clearance letter will be done within next 21 working days but nothing as such happened and after a year some guy called me saying he is from the ministry of foreign affairs and the number was also the same which I feel is fake he told me to send my bank statement to international council for expats and now I dont knw what to be done coz I didnt send them any bank statement then I got a mail frm ministry of foreign affairs saying if u dnt get urself registered we will have to take strict actions, please if anybody has any information regarding this please help n reply back.

From 2014 I joined Information Technology Program, paid my fees and started studying online.
After about 8 months website of university stopped, no information at all about it, after about six more months website worked.
I continued and finished 83% of the program. But then I received a call from university that I needed to pay the fees of certifying and legalizing my certificate, it was too much, but after negotiation I found myself obliged to pay.
I paid from more than 3 months but haven't got my documents until now?

Student Number: 2014-[protected] May 2014-January 2015. I completed a masters of science (speech pathology) through Gibson University. I paid close to $5000US in fees (which I have proof of), and was guaranteed that my degree would be recognised by Australian registry. I received an email on 1st May from Glenn MGuire confirming that I had paid 3199 US in full. This was the initial enrolment and 'course' fee. I then paid a further amount which covered 'verification of documents'. I have several emails from Wayne Brady, Daniel Grey and 'Allen Harper' who were all consultants I assume of Gibson University. I have tried several times to email the company, and have had no success communicating with them. I attempted to make an application with the SPA (Australian speech association) and needed more information- which I was unable to obtain due to the university blocking my email. I am extremely disappointed in the process I have been involved with ... I studied hard to finish all my assessments, with nothing to show at the end but a negative bank account. If I can get any help in the process of obtaining my fees back, that would be very much appreciated. I request a refund of all my fees paid, as I did not obtain anything from paying them.

I paid to do my degree online with GIBSON UNIVERSITY in 2014. As i went to log in a few days ago i realised that i cannot access my account. I tried many different ways to log in then checked the web site then sent an email to them only to realise every access point has been blocked. These people are crazy to take $Usd 1200. to study and then con us and disappear. These middle eastern countries and people are so fake. What can i do to retain my fees.

As I write this complaint on how Gibson University has scammed me out of my hard working savings of $3000.00. As I write this I can't even describe how heart broken I am all the time and effort I have put into these classes. I too have been blocked from the website just two assignments away from completing my degree. It is truly sad and disheartening on how people can really do this to others just to get ahead. I really hope justice is taken into effect against these individuals/company for my money back.

I had a call from Gibson University asking if i would like to do a degree and i had been planning to do one so took all the information, they kept calling many times and told me i could have a Scholarship and the cost would only be 2, 000USD. Half way through my course and now i cannot contact them or even go onto their website to finish my degree. They seemed so genuine. How can i claim my money back? Have they been caught, maybe that is why the website has been shut down?

Recently a very bad incident of cheating on how name of online mba education happend to me those guys from website used different names and they les me through I've chats and said they'll give scholarship from $[protected] if we register today reg fee 500 dollars . They sound so real called from numbers +[protected] +[protected] after payment they asked for credit card front image, this s where I got doubt and checked these numbers in google and found similar complaints on these numbers I've been so stupid to be carried away by these so real - fake website . They got my husband'a money they took out details and address am so scared of these cheaters. They can do any false nuisance, I don't want any other to b a victim of this . Pls keep my information confidential as it will break my famliy in laws, ... Am broken hearted now ...my 500 dollars went too
