October 21, 2025 4:55 pm. The Scan It machine at the Giant on 9400 Fairfax Blvd in Fairfax Va never works. It's very frustrating. I was told there is a problem with using a phone number as opposed to a physical card. I don't have a physical card. However, none of the scanners ever seem to be in use. This leads me to believe it is a problem with the system.
