Good Afternoon

My name is John Alcodray and I want to tell you of my family’s experience with your furniture store in Ann Arbor, Michigan. First, I am a retired veteran of the United States Navy and am currently working as a Corrections officer here in Adrian, Michigan. We needed new furniture for our home here in Adrian and have been watching your commercials on how great it is to buy there and how easy it is. Well, that is not true.

We went to buy a couch and loveseat for our living room and the Ann Arbor store. Our salesman’s name was Jim, nice guy. We order our furniture from your store, and it said it would take 6 weeks to get it from North Carolina. Well, it took longer that what our salesman told us. We also asked for the furniture to be delivered after 1400 because myself and my wife work during the week. After receiving several text messages and myself responding to them telling them not to delivered till after 1400 did not happen. So that was the first problem. Then when we finally got it the cord did not work to power the sofa and had to wait another week just to use our sofa. Was not happy about this at all. Then we went back in October to our same salesman to get our end tables for our living room. Now it gets complicated. We told our salesman not to delivered them till after 1400 and I responded to the emails also not till after 1400. Well, that did not happen as they showed up in the morning. So, we had to wait another week to get our furniture. We paid over $600 for them Than the end tables did not have the nobs for them . We called the furniture store, spoke to Vicki, and said the knobs would be delivered on Saturday and received the text messages saying the same thing. They never showed up and myself and my wife waited for them to come. I called the furniture store again Saturday evening when the truck is coming, and they said they did not know now. So, another week goes by and still no knobs to open and used our end tables for the holiday coming up that we are hosting for our grandchildren and family. I was called Monday and they said they were in the store now and I can come pick them up. I told them just put them in the mail because that is 2 hours of driving for me. They said they could not do that they have to threw the warehouse. I’m like are you kidding me just mail them to me or delivered them before the holiday and they said they could not do that as I spoke to the manager on Monday.

This has been the worst experience of myself and my wife’s life buying furniture form a furniture store. I cannot believe all the problems we have had trying to get this done. Also, one of the tables are all nick up. We just want to return everything and go somewhere else and buy furniture and have a pleasant experience doing it than what happen here at your store. Can you please help my family with this horrible situation we have had.
