Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Milex 5,6 Litre premium airfryer 1700 watt

Good day.I bought a Milex 5 litre airfyer on the 7th December 2022 at Game N1 City for R1599.This airfryer literally melt the plastic on the inside the first time it was used.I returned it on the 13 th December 2022 and upgraded to the Milex 5,6 Litre premium airfryer 1700 watt for R2000.

On Christmas morning 25 December 2022 whilst preparing Christmas lunch this airfryer's drawer handle literally broke off causing Christmas lunch to land on the floor.Is this the standard of product Game stores South Africa sells.I will be returning this defective product asap.

Desired outcome: I am in need of an airfryer and would hope Game stocks more quality and reliable product.I will be doing an exchange.

On the 22.12 we went to Pinetown Sanlam Centre in search for the perfect bike for my 10 year old. ( which still believes in santa)

We were disappointed to say the least when we tried to assemble it for xmas morning, it was the incorrect bike size and had no peddlles.

How do you explain to a 10 year old that father Chrismas messed up and take the magic away from him.

Desired outcome: We will be returning the bike and we will require the new bike to be sourced if need be

I Placed a order online on the 19th of December. I got a text msg confirming I can collect my order I selected for collection at Game Clearwater mall on the 21st December. Upon arriving to collect my order, to discover that 3 of my items were not available and they guy assisting us with the collection, said he cant help us, we will be refunded.

When I got home, I checked online and the Bestway Steel Pro Max 3.05m x 76cm Frame Pool was still available, As well as the Towel sets I ordered.

I sent a email to customer service on the 22nd of Dec, till now I have not had a response, I called the customer service centre on the 23rd Dec, The lady I spoke honestly did not know what she was doing. I explained everything to her, she then in return told me that the pool is out of stock, after I provided her with my order number. ([protected]) I then asked her why is it still showing as available online and why was I allowed to check out and pay for a item, if it was out of stock, she could not give me a answer.

I then asked her to check for me if any other stock had stock available, she asked for my nearest Game, I said Mall of the South or Lenasia, she put me on hold, after a few minutes, she said there is no stock available at Mall of Africa, I said to her, I never said Mall of Africa, I said Mall of the South, I said to her to check all stores in Jhb. She then came back and said there is 8 available at Clear water mall store, I asked her to explain to me as how they have stock, but I was told in the store it is out of stock.

she once again could not answer me, I asked her secure it for me, she then inturn told me I must pay again, then I asked why I already have paid, she said that I have been refunded, I told her there is nothing in my account.

she then said she was calling Dispatch to ask them to keep a pool aside for me, she put on hold, after 40 mins, she ended the call and could not even bother to call me back. This is ridiculous, the pool and Towel sets are for christmas gifts, now my daughter doesnt have a gift.

Till now I have not received my Refund.

Surely if a Item is out of stock, then you should not have it available.

Desired outcome: I would like to get my items I ordered, as well get more competent staff, who actually know what is going on.

I purchased a cellphone online on 25 November 2022 and Pietermaritzburg Liberty Midlands Mall was selected as my pick up point. I got a sms to say it was ready for collection,when I went to collect on 2 December 2022, I was told it was not there and that my pick up point was Hillcrest. I showed them that my online account showed Pietermaritzburg, which made sense considering that I stay in Pietermaritzburg. The promised to give me a phone on stock in store the following day after sorting out the online mix-up but didn't. I canceled the order on the 3rd but to date I have received a refund. I phoned customer care this morning, after holding forever the lady promised to contact the store and call me back but he didn't. Now it's close to Christmas, I have no phone and I have no money.

Desired outcome: I need my refund and a sincere apology.

I made an order online on the 1st December 2022. After 2 weeks I received a call that one of the items is out of stock and was promised a refund. I have not received any feedback about the refund to date. The other item was delivered today and it is broken, and I sent it back with the courier service. I have called the customer services at game however I am not getting any joy, the only thing I was told is that the matter will be escalated with no time frame. When I ask for the contacts of where it is being escalated to, I was told I cannot escalate the matter myself. Right now I have no sitting room furniture and no refund.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Awaiting delivery of order

I placed an order on 29 November 2022. No one can tell me where my order is or when it will be delivered. When I requested that my order be cancelled and my money refunded I was told that the matter needs to be escalated to the store where it was dispatched from and that someone would make contact with me. I am still waiting. I have paid for a product that seems to have disappeared into thin air. And absolutely no one is able to solve the issue.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Delivery of build in cupboards

I purchased a build in cupboards on the 28th of November 2022. I payed for everything including the delivery today the date is 17 December still nothing I have been calling and calling, they keep saying it's coming and it hasn't arrived. I am never buying anything at game and I will advise people not to because off the bad experience I had and how the stuff doesn't care about the costumers and how they are not even will to help

I bought a Goldair bar fridge online. It took 2 weeks to deliver. Once delivered it was not working. I have sent several emails, but I'm not receiving any response from them.

Received it 29 Nov. 2022

Not working since it was switched on on 3 Dec. 2022

Please resolve this problem by sending me a refund or a working unit. I do need it urgently.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Faulty Television

On 25 October 2022 I bought a TV set from Game online store. On 5 Nov 2022 I reported to game that the set was faulty. Eash time the set is switch on a blue line appears on the screen. The response from Game was that the supplier will contact me. On the 8 November 2022 Game requested me to send pictures of the fault to them, this I did the same day. To date I have sent 9 emails to Leeaqa Kenny (Game Rep. service call [protected]) and 4 emails to the supplier Powercare Ref. no TV604778. To date the defective system has not been replaced or received any refund.

We brought a Telefunken at Game Clearwater,when we plugged in the TV it had sparks we took back the TV,back to the Shop,I've sent several complains to the Shop but no one bothered listening to us,we have been told that there is a physical damage on TV but they cannot answer as to who cause the physical damage,today we fetched it because they were clear that they not going to help now the T V us worse,I just don't understand why are treated like this,Good afternoon..Game stores Clearwater sold us a broken TV, intentionally,now they don't want to take it back,that is how badly Game stores is treating their customers,so we waisted R6000 on a broken TV

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za No service

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was left without an income during the 1st quarter of 2022 - I approached Game / RCS for leniency and as they were unable to assist, a 'block' was placed on my account. (very understandable). I have since (Nov 2022) been employed again, and have brought the overdue amount up to date, as well as the payment that was due end November.

Last week Wednesday, 7 Dec, I contacted the credit department and they advised that I was to forward a copy of my ID & Pay slip through to them, requesting that the block be removed. On Friday, 9 Dec, I contacted the same department, only to be told that the turnaround response time is 48 hrs. I did not receive any form of feedback or communication with regards to my account. On Saturday, I made another phone call to the same department, and they in turn tried to put me through to the claims department. Unfortunately, they did not work on Saturday. This morning, 12 Dec, I contacted, the same department again, 1st time the phone got cut off, but the consultant managed to provide me with an alternative email address where I could send my docs to. I then emailed, and phoned back a 2nd time to confirm receipt of said documents. The gentleman I then spoke to asked me to hold - and then... after holding on for 17min, he never returned to the phone call. On a 3rd attempt to contact the department this morning, this time a lady answered, she claimed she could not put me through to the claims department, and then dropped the call. Needless to say, I have yet to speak to someone that will assist me in removing the block on my account.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response and the block on my account removed

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za WTX1302T Hisence 13kg Top Loader Titanium

Good morning Sir/Madam,

My name i Vulani, i bought a Hisence 13kg Top Loader WTX1302T washing machine on the 14th of August 2021.

The machine has been fixed twice alrady, the last time being fixed was on the 21st of November 2022 and yesterday the 11th of December 2022 is stopped working during the washing and gives an error code of E2.

My reference number is 314798.

Please note we are relocating back home in week and we are taking our machine with.

Kindly help as soon as possible.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Game Promenade Mitchells plein 1515373

This is a complaint regarding the attached multi step ladder advertised on Black Friday for R 999 item number 809607.

The manager at Promenade Mitchells plain would not give me a rain check.This is false advertising and not good as I took my time to come for this ladder.I am very disappointed in Game.

The complaint was made on the 25 November still no response.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Game Online Order. No Delivery. No Communication.

No delivery, no communication

I placed an online order for a kiddies bike on 25 November, meant as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The communicated delivery date was 2 December. It's 11 December now, and I have received nothing, not even communication informing me of, and apologizing for, any delay. The assistant I phoned in connection with this was polite, but could not even get through to the store concerned - Game, Gateway, Durban - to query the delay. As of today, 11th December 2022, my order tracking says that it has not even left the store. Game needs to visit me on Christmas to explain to my 5-year-old daughter why she has no Christmas present.

Desired outcome: I need delivery of my childs bike that I ordered online, and paid for in full, as soon as possible.

You and me we're on the same boat!.. i also bought a Fridge on the 25th November and it was meant to be delivered on the 2nd of December but i'm still waiting and none of their customer service can clearly tell me what's happening with my order. Funny enough they blamed the courier company and i called the courier to follow up with my order to my surprise the courier never received such order from Game. This Game store it's worse when it comes to online purchases i should've went to Makro and worse i was warned before about their poor service delivery but never listened!...

The sale agent there did not remove the polystyrene completely when he connected the TV and there was a crack behind the polystyrene which went unnoticed by me. I placed an online order on 25.11.2022 for delivery of 1 TV. It is now 09.12.2022 and it is still not delivered.

When I contact the customer support on 08.12.2022 for help, all they can tell me is they've escalated my issue and I must continue to wait. They cannot confirm when the order will be delivered. 24hours later I contact the customer support for an update on my escalation and I am told there is no update I need to continue to wait. That's it no effort to try and get an estimated delivery date.

While on the chat with the Game online support agent the person just stopped responding to me while I still had questions. Such pathetic customer service! I have an email transcript as proof.

Am I just required to sit at home every day wondering if today is the day the order might be delivered? What if I step out to run errands and the courier company tries to deliver? If I don't know the delivery date then this is possibly going to happen.

If I am not going to get feedback or my order delivered today then I will be blasting Game on every social media platform

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Delivery

I, on the 25th of November 2022, ordered a Xbox Series S from Game (R5999.99) as a join birthday present for my 9 year old brother. As per Game's website (https://www.game.co.za/Electronics-%2526-Entertainment/Gaming/Consoles/p/000000000000818531) the Xbox was supposed to arrive on the 2nd of December 2022. I received an order confirmation email clearly stating the package would arrive "by December 02".

On the 1st of December in the morning, I called their support line to see what was happening with my order as I hadn't received any update on the delivery, the assistant insured me that everything was still on track and my order would be delivered on the 2nd. At 15:35 (1st) I received a "Order shipped" email with the same "by December 02" delivery date.

On the 2nd I received no update or any communication on when the order would be delivered so in the late afternoon I called Game customer support again. The assistant told me that the order was not collected by the courier yet, but since the work from 8am to 8pm it was likely that the order would be delivered in the evening, Saturday or LASTEST by Monday (5th). The assistant also reassured me she'd call me back on Saturday morning if the package was not delivered on Friday, she did not call me back.

The weekend passes, no update, no delivery. On Monday 5th in the afternoon I call Game support. After explaining my situation to the assistant, he tells me again that the order is at the warehouse but has not been collected by the courier and is unable to give me an new delivery date. I was forced to request that my case be escalated.

On Tuesday 6th, I get a call from Game Support. The lady explained she's calling me due to the escalation of my case. She explains to me (again) that the order is at the warehouse but has not been collected by the courier. She explained she would email the warehouse and find out why my order was not collected and when I can expect it to be delivered and that she would call me back once she gets feedback.

On Wednesday (7th Today), after still having received no update (now 6 days late), I called Game support. The assistant explained again that the order was at the warehouse but not collected by the couriers. She told me that she could not find any info about delivery as the order had gone dormant. She too could not tell me when my order was going to be deliver so I requested to speak to a supervisor.

After being on hold for a while, she told me that ALL the supervisors and management were in a meeting and no one could assist me (14:30). I had to request a call back.

I've also made multiple other unsuccessful contact attempts, I sent 3 emails to support, only receiving one response on the 4th, reassuring me the order would be delivered by the 2nd and latest the 6th.

I also tried contacting Game over 5 times on their Whatsapp support chat, but I haven't received a single response or call back from there.

This experience has been so poorly handled and with such incompetence that I'm seriously considering cancelling my order with Game and reordering the Xbox from Takealot, it will probably arrive here sooner than the Game order too.

I am deeply disappointing with Game's management team and their customer support. This type of service is completely unacceptable and I'm seriously worried that I just won't receive my order as it has gone dormant as per the support team. I really am running out of options on what to do.

Desired outcome: I would like Game to make contact with me (lanolin.[protected]@icloud.com) and get my order delivered, ON TIME!

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Cell Phone

I was in Kenilworth Centre cellphone store about the cellphone Nokia 2.2 that I bought in 2020 doesn't connect to wifi, bluetooth is not working & I can see what ever I want to print on the PC. I found an Assistant & her Manager, they told me that the Warranty/ Guarantee expired.

I ask them where does it say is expired? They say it's on the slip but there is nothing like that on the slip. They say that person who assisted me in 2020 did tell me about that by mouth not a slip & if they take it to be fixed I'm going pay for repairs. After that they all left me.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Refund

On friday the 25th/11/2022 around past 12am I did an online purchase for their black friday deals, the was a promo on the Proline intel Celeron laptop for R1999 which had been advertised throughout the week, then on Friday as I logged onto their online store the laptop was selling for R2999, I then thought maybe the advertisements where in correct, I placed the order for the laptop and a volkano smart watch, which in total it amounted to R3398.00 then I checked out. As I was browsing through Twitter I saw a post by a customer enquiring about the price of the laptop and their Twitter account holder responded saying it was a technical error, I then went back online and used the wen chat service and the person assisting me adviced me that I should cancel the order and reorder for the current price of R1999, I reorder the items then in the morning around 8am I called their customer support line and asked that the first order for R2999 including the watch to be canceled the Consultant then ended our conversation with that she has canceled the order and will send the request to the finance department and my money will reflect within 3-5 working days. Then on the 26th of November 2022, I got a sms's saying my order is on the way, to my surprise when the I was notified to come outside and collect my order, I had two deliveries meaning that the first order I had made and requested to be canceled wasn't cancelled, I then rejected that order and signfor the one I did after the first order, Sunday the following day I started communicating with their Twitter account hold and they asked for proof of payment and refrence number for the order I provided all of that then they said they need to comfirm with store/warehouse wether the items have been brought back to them, I texted on Monday, and Tuesday again but no response, been calling also trying to findout how far are their in terms of my refund, all the consultants I spoke to they give me the "we have to check with the store/warehouse to comfirm for the items that they have them" and some have promised to call me back none have called back, even the 29th I wrote them an email in regard to this matter, the email has not been responded too, today after calling and being told that they still want to confirm with the store/warehouse the consultant asked that I call again after +/- 30mins I called again the consultant I got this time, called the store/warehouse to comfirm even the call lasted for 30mins because I was told to keep holding and finally the part of the warehouse was solved but the real issue now is that I am being told that they have a procedure where paperworks pass from head office to the warehouse back to head office the back to the consultants then the finance department and I can only be refunded after 3-5 working days and I explained to the consultant that I am not willing to wait thay long again due to that my refund was supposed to be already done had the order had been canceled on Friday (25th/11/22) and the consultant said they will try and see if that I can get my refund back either today or tomorrow.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate it if my refund can be done within today or tomorrow, and I would also like a formal apology.
