Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za RCS game card

On the 4th April 2023 I went to makro wonderboom to purchase for the value of R1100.To my surprise on the 08 April 2023 I discovered that about R7000 was used in my account by a frauster.

I called the rcs customer service to get clarity then they say this matter can only be handled by the fraud team.Unfortunately they team was not working on the day in question.They promise to call me back on the 10th April 2023 but nothing so far.I also realized that during the fraud activity my sim was blocked by those people.I thought it was a network problem until I went to the service provider who confirms that the simcard was indeed blocked by someone.

Can I be help in this regard.

Desired outcome: pls Refund me the money used by this frauster

And I thought I was the only one. Same thing frauded ans Sim swapped. So upset but I call and they told me 21 days as I filled the fraud dispute form but this was game East Rand mall. Not even 2 weeks of having the card, everything was gone. IN April also... For a number I used for more than 15 years was blocked and ported to a different SP. I. Am. On their cSe I cannot pay for something I did not do and I bought once on a activation day. Not even twice. I dnt want to point fingers but I bout once right the same time as activation.. Makes me. Wonder even more.5 days left. Will here after that I am opening a criminal case. This is not on.

I purchased a Samsung microwave 32L from Game Midlands Liberty mall PMB which is currently on promotion for R2199. I bought it on the 03/04/2023 upon opening the product I noticed that the door is very loose and not aligned with the control pad also under the microwave it's is missing a rubber to ensure the item is stable. I took the product back to the store on the 04/04/2023. I waited half and hour for someone from the department to come access the product who doesn't even work with this product. A manager and this guy said that the item is fine. I was not happy as the then told me that they need to send the product to the supplier to be tested. I said that this is unacceptable as this product was only purchased yesterday. They then called another person who also doesn't work in the department and was told the same thing. I had 5 people come to me and tell me the same thing which me is terrible service as no one in that store was able to make a decision. Further to that I was never explained the guarantee. When I ask the cashier she said to check on the box. I did not know anything about the 21 days policy which should be explained before purchasing. The on duty said the store manager will be in store tomorrow and will access the product and get back to me,however none of my detail were taken down for them to contact me... So I'm not sure how my problem will be solved.

I would like to be refunded as I will never purchase from game cause of this service.

Hiermee wil ek net onder u aandag bri g dat ek reeds 3mnde gelede aansoek gedoen het vir n pensionariskaart. Tot op hede het Game in die Northcape mall nog nooit gekontak nie. Ek het vandag vir 2de keer navraag gedoen. Die bestuurder aan diens het nog terwtl ek met hasr praat haar rug op my gedraai en n ander kliënt hulp aangebied. Die vorige keer hwt due dame wat my kaart gesoek get heeltyd met n ander werker gesels en op dié manier glo ek kon sy my kaart my misgekyk het wa t sy bly omblaai terwyl sy praat. Toe ek dit vandag vir die bestuurder aan diens sê het sy my blatant ignoreer. Sy het het net gesê hul sal my skakel as kaart kim

Ek het haar gevra hoe us dit moontlik dat mense wat na my aansoek gedien het se kaarte al daar is en myne nie. Sy het absoluut geen poging aangewend om te gaan kyk nie. En toe haar rug op my gedraau. Dit is SWAK DIENS EN GEDRAG van bestuurder en baie swak vir Game se naam. Ek hoop en vertrou dat u aandag hieraan sal gee.

Hi I bought a new Air cooler on the 26.11.2022 barcode [protected] so on 27/02/2023 I send it for repairs the fan stop working and on the 26/03/2023 I receive a call from game store in paarl and they tell me they can't fix it because of water damage but what I couldn't understand is that the air cooler use water and because of that the warnty whas cancel this tape of Air cooler use water they don't do anything about it was very poor business I felt like I have wasted my money and time I will never bought from game ever again I say again this tape of Air cooler use water and there's no way to tell me you can't fix it

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Fridge

On 17 March 2023 i purchased a fridge for my mothers 80th birthday. It is the 24/3/2023 and the fridge is still missing and not delivered. I have also noticed online that game does false advertising, they say there is 5 left of a product and then 2 and if you look again then there is 5 again. I want the fridge delivered today. Not my problem how you do it but let me tell you, you are a bunch of useless fools. I think all the people that does not want to work, they all work for game as they dont do follow ups and neither do you hear that the fridge is now delivered. You just hear, sorry we dont have a answer yet or we will deliver tomorrow and this never happens. In 2018, i also bought a fridge and guess what, it was the same story so the service has never changed. I will never buy from you again and i will bad mouth you as long as i am breathing you stupid fools

Hi iwent to game tygervalley to but me airtime when I get to a till point I saw 2 blackcat peanut butters which were mark down to R10. Then I took them to pay cashier 1st asked the other cashier if it's hers then she said no. Well she rang up the called a manager on duty to authorize when she came ddnt even great me she grabbed the peanut butter to say that's for customers then I said but it was on the floor that why I took it the she shouted att me like am a mad person to say if want to take further you can then I ask does she have to be rude... I was wearing my name badge cz I also work in the mall the she said give me your you come take chances here I was so embarrassed cz other customers were looking at me like am a full... Am not sure if this happened because am black the approach was very inappropriate

Hi there

Friday morning I went to game tygervalley to buy me airtime. As I was by the till point I saw peanut butters on reduce so I took them.. Then cashier 1st ask everyone if it's their's then they said no... Then she rangup n called manager to authorise she came n looked not even greating me she looked and say who gave this that's not for customers then she walk away came back and say if you feel like you want to take it further you can... Then I asked her do really have to be rude she looked at me n say you can't tell me am rude give me your name then I asked y am not your staff member then she said never mind am gonna look at the cameras... Alot she said.. I felt so embarrassed in front people

Today 20/03/2023 at 15:30 I went to Game game and bought a few things

3 cashiers seemed to on duty I went to the cashier who was next available with an open sign - her body language and conversation to the other cashiers was not acceptable but any way I asked are you available to serve me and she said no I am closed! so I proceeded to the next lady right next to her to continue my purchase next thing a customer walks toward her and her and the other lady proceed to assist them. I then turned and asked her what was the difference between me and the new customer did she have a problem? and she continued to talk to the other lady in venac. She fully understood my distaste for what had happened and still did not bother to apologies for her very rude and disrespectful behavior - her name tag said Ziphezihle. may not be 100 percent correct cause the tag was not very clear. However I would like you to check the cameras to just watch how unenthusiastic and entitled she was sitting and chatting instead of being available and friendly for clients. - Bianca [protected]

Good day

On the 3rd of march 2023 I applied for cellphone contract of two iphones 11 at game kolonade in pretoria I was doing an add on since I have fibre with vodacom. But to my surprise even today I am still waiting for feedback no one has came back to me and let, me know what is going..

The lady that was assisting me said that she is having a problem to add on the phones since now thei using new system and my fbre was done on the old systme and have tried calling vodacom severl times and their head office but nothing has been done.

I am pleading to the game head office to come back to me with regards to my phones I am very disappointement in your services. Please anyone call me on [protected]

Bought it last november was ironing last night I burned a t shirt n it sticks suddenly water started to drill as it cools down n stops working. tried to change plugs with no luck. where is the guarantee when it's like this. bought it at game store jabulani mall soweto

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Incorrect order / product

Bought 10.1 tablets as advertised online (with Android 8). Received 10.1 tablets (not as the one advertised). Tablet looks different from the online advert and it has Android 11 on it. Trying to get Game to collect the incorrect tablets from us and take them back for a refund as they do not have the exact product we ordered. Now struggling for more than a month now to get the product collected again. I keep on phoning them only to be put through from one person to the next all with the same promise. "We will contact you, and we are waiting for feedback from head office, etc." All of them are so sorry for the inconvenience but no one is doing absolutely anything to speed up my process. I'm trying to stay in contact with Imtiyaaz as he is the main person working on my case. I can never get hold of him and he never phones or email me back. It's now more than a month of back and forth with no luck at all.

They are all bad, but there is a specific woman named Lucky who works at the Cash advice area...

I called at around 08:15 - 08:20 on the 2023/02/25. I was pass around to many different departments so a simple enquiry (Clearly no one was in the mood to work)

I finally (and unfortunately) came across a woman named Lucky, and she was really rude (Listen to the call) and I had to literally tell her to stop being rude just because i asked her a question.

I was told that i should wait on the line to rate her service, and i wasn't given that option, guess she knew i fail her.

We bought the Lawn Mower last year 17/02/2022 It was wonderful then it started the problems. We decided to take it back. We road in and gave it in and started to wait for the return. We phoned a few times. At last, they let us know it was fix. We went to fetch it on the 21/02/2023 got home and started it well that is a joke. We are taking it back tomorrow and i am really upset that we bought this very expensive lawnmower and that it is giving us so many problems.

I purchased a Hisense 55-inch TV on the 2nd of April 2022 from Game Brooklyn
Two weeks ago, it would not show a picture
Contacted Game and states the issue and was referred to Hisense.
It has taken two weeks for Hisense to raise a job card only to have a technician inform us that the LCD is cracked and the technician stated it is physically damaged.
However the TV was not physically damaged but the screen is has crack for no reason, on the warranty is not valid.
It seems I have just wasted, 8000 buying a TV that has no Game warranty on it. Hisense service are absolutely useless.
People should be informed by Game that once you purchase a large size TV that it is no longer Game's problem
Highly annoyed and will never buy a TV from Game.

Desired outcome: Replacement TV as it is not older than a year

I took my 2 year guarantee electric Kettle I bought last in June which doesn't wanna switch on. Got to the store in King williams town,1st the guy that was asked to assist took almost 5 mins to attend me. Was so surprised when he said he's gonna call their manager and was pleased. She the manager took another 20-+ minutes and said sorry I can't assist because the condition of the Kettle won't be accepted by the factory. That shocked me because I showed her my slip/box that's written 2 year guarantee. What most made me furious was the fact she just left me standing there by myself as I was still unsatisfied and shocked by this as Games motor says other wise about guarantee

Desired outcome: I would like my right as a customer to get the guarantee I'm an entitled too if then Game can't get my money back and go buy another Kettle. Deal with this poor personal management

I am utterly disgusted and mortified by the treatment given to employees by Grace Maruma at the Polokwane Game Store branch. Not only does she bellitle them and treat them with close to absolutely no respect but she is comfortable enough to do this in front of customers.

I often go to Game for my essentials and more than one occasion have I had a first hand experience in witnessing this woman bully the employees. I would assume she has a managerial position but if this is how Game conducts it's treatment of employees then I am more than happy to stop supporting this franchise. On two occasions I have seen her torment employees so much that they were close to tears.

Regardless of what the problem is I'm pretty sure certain matters can be addressed privately and proffesionally.

Mind you, I am not the only person who was disgusted by this behavior because multiple people in the queue had an issue with what we had witnessed and I for one can definitely confirm it has happened way too many times and the fact that nothing has been some speaks volumes about how Game treats its employees. I'm utterly disgusted.

They may be employees but they are humans first, with feelings. Give them some level of dignity. I truly am disgusted and will no longer be going to that Game branch.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Ryobi 1200w generator inverter

I bought a Ryobi 1200w generator inverter today (26/01/[protected]:34) pm at game. As any customer do you do not open the box in store because you believe that it is the right product and a brand new one as well. I live 320km from the game I bought the product from and when got home I opened the product and guess what? The product has been used before it smells like petrol and when I checked the oil level it is low. There various marks and spots on the product and the exaust outlet you can see that it has been used before. The product manuel has been cut with sisors and has hand writing of a child on it.

Desired outcome: I just want game to take responsibility for selling a used product to a customer and exchange for a new one or refund my money.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Samsung air conditioner

I had purchased a samsung aircon on black friday.

After the installer installed it ,it worked for two days and stopped .

From them till now i have made countless calls to game who have asked me to contact samsung myself and fourways.

It has been almost three months with no resolution.

Game pavillion is dissapointing i have no faith in that brand of stores any longer.

Desired outcome: Money back or new aircon

Good Afternoon. It is with absolute disgust that I send this complaint with absolute no confidence that anything will even be done about it.

I bought a Tevo Magneto product from Game Newcastle on the 8th of December 2022 and it was used once before it stopped coming on completely after being charged for the required time.

I went to the store today with the product in the original packaging including my receipt and the rep for Tevo (Thandazo) who was extremely abrupt and rude to me told me that the only way the product can be exchanged is if it is within 14 days - which I was unaware of as the leaflet says 6 months guarantee. After her rude and arrogant behaviour, I requested to see the manager of Game to which she responded that he is unable to assist us because it's not Games problem it's a Tevo product, but the product was purchased from Game - not Tevo! After arguing with us, she eventually called Aman Maharaj to tell us what she told us! The service is beyond pathetic!

We were planning to purchase paints and renovation items for our house today but we were so completely disgusted at the service and attitude that we went to another shop because we refuse to support a business that has no values or ethics on customer care!

Desired outcome: Disciplinary action should be taken on the Tevo rep as well as Aman Maharaj as they have no sense of what customer care and support is if they are the ones representing a brand/company as well as an apology!

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Good day.. It's. About a tv smart set bought on 24 nov no delivery

I bought a TV set as above on the 24th of November last year to be delivered to Durban to 1083 Belair road Durban.. I have been told TV was returned by the courier company but they never contacted anyone to ask as they are supposed to call on delivery of an item. I hv been in contact with a lot of your agents they refuse to put me through to a supervisor and l am getting frustrated now.. Am going to the second month no delivery and all l am getting is that TV is still at the store. I have asked which store so l can go and pick it up myself they refuse saying it's impossible.. Can the person in Durban go and collect no. So as a customer how am l to handle this issue. It was a present for my brothers kids now it's pointless bcz they have not received it.. Is there anyone to assist me pliz on this matter how do l get hold of tje supervisor or management
