Today, Monday, Sept 28, 2026, at 1:40PM, I was stopping for a red light to turn left from the west bound lanes of Fairmont Parkway onto the southbound lanes of Genoa Red bluff. I was pulling up to the already stopped delivery truck as shown in the attached images. As I slowed to a stop, I saw the driver's side door open just wide enough for the driver to throw out a plastic water bottle and an aluminum can. I couldn't believe it, I thought nobody so egregiously littered any longer. Once stopped, I grabbed my phone to take pictures of the rear of the truck. While getting my phone ready, the driver actually got out, I was hoping, to pick up his litter. But no, all he picked up was the water bottle. I guess he realized he mistakenly threw the bottle out. While so doing, some brown napkins blew out of the truck. He made no effort to get them nor the can. He was a medium height, medium build male with short cropped hair. I wasn't able to take a picture of him.
I couldn't help but think how badly his actions reflect on the Frito Lay brand name. I have always loved Fritos products but from now on I will think of that driver dumping trash on public property right in front of me. There are plenty of competing products that I should really try out.
