Power Company Making Life/Death Decision

The customer service representative from their collection agency was very rude and unprofessional. They have no sympathy for a disabled person on oxygen. My nephew is trying is trying to ask President Bush and Congress to pass a new "bill"
stating electric companies can not disconnect to a person whose dependent on electrical machines for survival. If they disconnect I'll know have to go meet my maker. Does this country want to give the utility companies the power to make life and death decisions?

TWIMC,
The transformer blew and I was without power from early Friday AM to Saturday AM. I am not complaining about the time to repair the transformer. The problem is that my AC and some electrical devices were destroyed. FPL is responsible. It was FPL's transformer. I expect to be compensated for the damages. Please respond. Thank you.

I called fpl and told them i only get paid every 2 weeks. I got a final notice to turn off for 225 deposit to be paid by aug 8th..I called and said i dont get paid tile 15th..dont turn me off. I have a child in the apartment. They said you had ten days to pay and its 14 days. I said i was told ten days then 30 days. collections was rude and would not put a note that i dont get paid tile 15th...then had the nerve to call me the next day to remind me to pay...I gave them 180.00 45.00 short. They better not turn me off or i am going to fcc

we fell behind on our power bill and will be caught up by next fri. unfortunately fpl wants to disconnect this mon. i asked them for 72 hrs. and they said no. we have called several agencies as we have 2 sick babies and 2 other children in our home. i work full time and have a small disability income as i am an ovarian cancer patient. the agencies we called said that they only help people who want the money to keep from having their power turned off! we told them that we just need 3 x-tra days and will be able to bring our account to date-we dont want the $! Nothing anyone can do. i even wrote to the pcc, but that was before i found out about fpl contributing millions of dollars to these commisions-sounds like something else to me! as far as their customer svc, well i work in a bank and if i ever got caught treating any of our customers like they do, i would be fired on the spot! they need to change their customer "CARE" to something more appropriate as they certainly dont care!

Listen to this guys. I am being wronged and after proving them of how my identity was stolen they added a balance of an unauthorized account into my balance. when i showed them the court rulling and the judge rulling in my favor they told me that they pretty much do not care and whatever they decide supersedes any lawmaker, judge, congress representative or federal or state governement official. When I asked for the number of cutomer relations they refused to and when insisted that it was my givene rightto ask for it they told me that the constitution and the law does not apply to FPL!is FPL a new Dictorship regime that lives in our country? and how come they are above the law and have more immunity than even the President of the United States?

Be aware that a man is calling from [protected], saying that there is a problem with myFlorida Power & Light (FPL) meter. I hanged up because FPL has 800 numbers or 305, the number was strange.
I am under the impression that is a scam, misrepresenting FPL.

Today I received a letter from you, trying to sell me a power surge insurance. Maybe you should work harder at not having the power go out during a small storm. I really should ask for compensation as this happened during the news hour time.

The light is located on Pennock Point Lane at the north corner of Point Lane East in Jupiter, FL. It has been inoperable since "Irma".

The pole is on a sharp curve and guides anyone entering Point Lane. Without the light, it's next to impossible to find the road to turn.

Ticket 3336. Waiting for one wire to be reattached when tree pulled it out. Told week and a half. It's a 10 minute job. Phone support is useless. FPL should have been working Sunday after a major hurricane. Disappointed in service.

On 08/31/18 driving south bound on I95 close to exit 6, driver from FPL truck tag GEM 008 cut me off so abruptly that I almost hit the car on my left an then the car behind me almost rear-ended me, driver did not care to use turn signals, just cut me off with the huge truck as he was talking on the phone while driving.

Severe destruction of trees along property line in rear, left all debris on the ground, I had more damage from Florida Power and Light then I did from the hurricane Irma, please have a supervisor contact me so I may meet with him at the site. Thank you RAY THOMPSON

A transformer blew this morning in my neighborhood since 11am now it's 10pm still no light like I understand your a busy company but how does a company so huge don't know if there's an outage in areas and doesn't get it resolved I'm done disappointed if ther was another way I would leave fpl.

Fpl is a complete rip off ..Someone help me understand the point of Getting charged a deposit for late payment when we already [censored]ing struggling to pay your [censored]ing light bill ..what is the [censored]ing point you [censored]ing pigs ..eating up poor people money ..stupid [censored]s . I called cux service all they can say it's a new policy ..dumb [censored]ing retards .

Yesturday our power was restored so that later in the evening the power was down again...the website is useless because it says the same thing to everyone...

This is ridiculous we had power at 9700 hammocks blvd so why was it tuned off again..

Fpl really needs to get it together..

Imra came and went. Winds around 40mph and we were first to lose power in Yulee, FL and still no power and no trucks in Yulee Hills area. Folks in this area are elderly and FLP does not even care. FPL states we are costing them money. REALLY.. Blood suckers..

There are only 8 homes left in center grove to turn on and we seem to be getting ignored. No updates, Poor accurate reporting or communication!

This was only a tropical storm/ cat 1. Can't imagine a cat 4 or 5!

Lost confidence

Elderly parents and dog. Not fair!

540 Wood Ave Fort Myers, FL. Still no power while others have power we have kids and pets in the meantime FPL trucks havent even went around my neighborhood we need our damn power its so hot! Please fix this is ridiculous!

I very much understand that FPL has a huge undertaking at this moment. What I don't understand is how is it possible that our community Village Homes in the county walk neighborhood located in sw Kendall. Is the only community without power. Even more, only 158 homes out of almost 500. Your crews came, restore power. But neglected this small piece

I am 9 months pregnant and have animals and still have no power and haven't been able to get ahold of anyone! Anytime I try to call it's just a automated recording. If someone could call me and tell me what is going on that would be great!

Everyone around us and even inside our complex has power except for our street. I work from home too.

Why restore power in a detective way and leave a single street in the dark?

How fast will your crew come back to fix one single street ? Is one street not worth it while the rest is restored?

Buildings inside our sane complex has power. Boys and girls club have power. Senior building has power. Even the HUD building has power. We are all in the same vicinity and we do NOT HAVE POWER FOR 7 DAYS NOW! We are in renaissance preserve at 4211 romeo ln fort Myers florida 33916

Today the Sun Sentinel Reports that FPL Spokesman Bill Orlove said that we should call if a neighbor has power and you don't. WELL that is the CASE and you know what. You CANNOT Call, You Cannot Leave them a message. YOU cannot Email Them. Because THEY DO NOT CARE. Address is 1749 Village Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL. FPL Are Liars.

We are a church property with a pre-school and two homes. There is ONE fuse on our pole in front or our property that is hanging as the others are intact. EVERYONE around and behind us has power restored EXCEPT our property. We have cancelled church and our pre-school has not been able to open nor is our church able to help the hurricane victims

Inconsiderate. Unreliable. Useless.
We've been without power for a week and NO ONE has come to even investigate the wire that's in my backyard. Had they done daily maintence or updates, South Florida wouldn't be dealing with this for this long. They love to bill you & accept my payments though.

everyone in my street that lives in coral gate has electricity except my block. i don't understand why this is happening. almost all the people i know have electricity. and also, the street where miracle mile is, they have electricity. i'm very frustrated. i live on SW 18 Terrace. fix this issue immediately. its been a week since. thank you.

They have no power pole at all they share it with neighbor and they split the bill same landlord ownes all properties this is not safe and power is buried underground to 2355 SW Daytona st which y'all say doesn't exist but yet it's right next door!

Two FPL workers infringed into my house without notice. They knocked other neighbor and crossed the fences from back yard to solve power outage of neighbor. Even did not explain why and how to get in my yard.

Awful customer service! Trying to set up my Mom's auto pay online and can't get past the screen where you put in last four of SS number. Been on hold for 20 minutes! Got someone to pick up and she can't help me now I am transferred to someone and on hold again!

It has been over 2 weeks since I called about a down wire they came but but left the hanging 5 foot from the ground that anyone of my kids can reach what's it's going to take to get this fixed the right way address is 2176 Bendway Dr port Charlotte fl 33948 this is a very serous safety concern

I received an intent to disconnect email from FPL that said "Final Notice" even though it was the first an only notice, on April 8, 2019. I had instructed my bank to pay FPL several days before, and I obtained proof that the bill was paid electronically on April 4. They did not record my payment until today, April 9. I called them to complain and give them my "Final Notice" that if this happens again I will do everything I can to seek some sort of punishment for their failure to treat customers fairly, even in today's business climate where the dollar rules over all else, including customer service and satisfaction. They tried to suggest that my bank did not send the payment that day...but it was electronic and I have written proof that it was. Maybe they need to invest a little more into their accounting system instead of threatening customers!

I have had an exposed live down FPL wire in my front yard for one month ... Multiple calls to FPL has been unsatisfactory without results ... MY family, and neighborhood is unsafe. FPL has been negligent in their response ad action .. This is ongoing. since 07/07/2019 (Exposed Down Wire on residential property )

There are two sheds constructed on the FPL easement at the rear of the subject property creating an obstruction along the easement.
This is a problem since the property owners are absent during hurricane season.
Please advise me of any action that FPL plans to take.
