I began to pay for Fox Pest Control on June 16, 2022. I had no problems until the summer of 2024 when I showed James Winters a 2x10x12 face board. The carpenter ants had eaten and destroyed. He laughed and made fun of me, saying there was no problem even as carpenter ants were crawling over the deck. He stated he would send someone out to spray again. I had to replace the board.
In the spring of 2025, I called Fox and had a tech come out to spray and showed the tech what looked like sawdust, at the front of house arch. The tech said he didn’t know where the sawdust was coming from because he couldn't see any holes. I then showed him all the damaged boards on my deck and steps. By the fall of 2025 multiple boards in that area required replacement due to structural safety.
Fox sent a manager by the name of Scott to my house on June 5, 2026. I showed him where the woodpeckers had put holes in the decorative arches above my front door and front window, he said we don’t spray for woodpeckers. I stated that the tech sprays for carpenter bees (which lay larva in the arches and the woodpeckers feed on the larva) he stated maybe the techs, “missed a place”. It is apparent that all the work I am having to have done on the front of my house is due to Fox incompetency and not spraying properly. Before Scott canceled my account on June 5, 2026, I had printed several reports from techs documented in my portal. There are several notes about active carpenter ants and termite damage to my deck.
New sawdust is occurring related to new damaging pest activity as of June 6, 2026.
On June 3 a tech came to my house to replace a bait black box. He told me the black boxes don’t do any good where mice are concerned. Chipmunks and squirrels are the ones that eat the bait. He also proceeded to tell me, talking to me like he was like talking, “to his eleven-year-old son”. He also told me, I should get rid of my decks, “you don’t need them”, “you don’t use them”. I use them when they are safe. Your tech also told me my receipts were probably fake, made by AI. I am a member of Lowes and my account tracks everything purchased. I am happy to provide this legal documentation.
I am paying thousands and am being told that treated lumber gets wet and attracts bugs. All the damage to my house and my deck is caused by carpenter ants and termites eating the wood from the inside where they cannot be seen.
Scott closed out my account on June 5, 2026. I cannot get anything from my portal. I had already printed all documentation on the portal.
To settle this issue, I request: Replacement of damage boards, a refund of funds spent failing to remedy pest issues and partial reimbursement of the several thousand dollars required to repair the front of my house.
Please be advised, I am submitting reviews on social media, filing a formal complaint with The State Attorney General and reaching out to local media consumer advocates. I am also retaining legal counsel for the above issues and requests. I will also be reaching out to others with similar issues to establish a class action lawsuit.
Please respond to me via email within 5 business days, regarding your response to the above.

Claimed loss: Amount paid for monthly service, $50,200.00 repair cost to the front of my house, the cost for repairing my deck (estimated at $100,000.00.

Desired outcome: Replacement of damage done to deck (I only have a estimated cost of $100,00.00) and partial reimbursement of several thousand dollars required to repair the front of my house.
