False and fraudulant information concerning resolution to a mice infestation problem at my home. Senate Termite & Pest Control came to my house and said they could get rid of the mice, but they didn't do a good job. The mice are still running around like crazy. I paid them a lot of money for their so-called "expert" service, but it was a waste. I'm really disappointed and feel like I've been taken advantage of. Don't trust these guys!

I contacted Senate Termite & Pest Control in early May to fix a bug problem in my attic. Senate sent out an inspector quickly. The inspector told me that putting a trap in the attic and some bait stations around the house would fix the issue. After a few weeks went by, there was no improvement. A second and third inspector came. The third inspector told me that the people before him missed "obvious signs" that the attic insulation needed to be replaced. I asked him if this would solve the issue, and he texted me back, "We can solve it at 100 percent. Once there (sic) nesting area removed and we seal up all entry points there’s no way for them to be up there." But there's still something in the attic, even after spending over $5000. When I talked to the management three weeks ago, they agreed that this was not acceptable and said they would call me back with a plan of action. But I haven't received any such call. They've taken my money and moved on.

I used *** to find a recommended pest business. Senate pest contacted me within 15 minutes of me closing the web browser (gotta love the internet cookies). A representative came by on Saturday, July 31. The Senate person tried to convince me to sign up for a quarterly service - I said NO because that kind of service NEVER worked for me. I would get charged quarterly, but the company wouldn't come out or do what was agreed upon. Anyway, I showed Senate pest where the gnats were, and he sprayed some stuff. He said it wouldn't harm anything and would come off when dry. But, unfortunately, the spray ruined two brand NEW pieces of furniture. It also left spots on the dark cherry wood kitchen cabinets, white blotchy marks on the walls, and streaks on the ceiling. And guess what? I still have gnats! The cost of repairing and replacing the damaged items will be more than the service itself. They charged me $595.00 for the initial service, with additional quarterly payments of $90. I asked for a one-time charge, but when I called to say I didn't want that, they told me it would be difficult to change the payment plan.

I paid for a termite treatment on June 30, and I've been renewing the warranty every year. Senate Pest Control called me on Tuesday and said they wanted to come and check for termite activity. We scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, May 18, but nobody showed up. I called on the afternoon of May 18 and rescheduled for May 20 at 10 AM. On May 19, around 10:50 AM, I got a call saying that my appointment for the 20th was canceled and they no longer serve my area. I asked what I should do because it's been almost a year since anyone checked if I have termites. They said there's nothing they can do, they don't serve my area anymore, and they can't renew my warranty. My warranty is valid until June 30, and I'm not getting any resolution. This company has disappointed me multiple times and hasn't kept their promises.

In November, some work was done in my home's attic (which was done real nice). But, boy oh boy, the billing department is a real mess. I paid a chunk upfront and they said the rest would be split into three equal payments. But, oh my, they kept charging my card randomly every month. Sometimes it was less than what it should be, and other times it was way too much. Every time I called, they would say they didn't know what happened, say sorry, and then mess up again the next month. When they charged me too much, they said I couldn't get that extra money back. I also asked for some compensation for their mistakes. One person said I could get it, but another said no way. I even asked who was in charge of my account, but they couldn't tell me. It's just plain bad business to randomly take money from someone without knowing their financial situation. I mean, come on, basic math skills should be a given for anyone in accounting. I had to cancel my card because they couldn't handle the numbers. And guess what? They still didn't compensate me for their accounting blunders that messed up my monthly budget.

Last year, me and my husband hired Senate Pest Control to do attic insulation/cleaning stuff and we signed up for a year long pest control thing. One year and $4,000 later, we still got mice coming in our house, and now there's a rat digging in our backyard. Last year, they said it would cost another $500 to treat the yard for pests. Why would we pay more money to the same company that never fixed the mouse problem in our house? I called like a week ago to tell a manager about my worries, but the manager didn't seem to care about losing our business. I guess since they already got $4,000 from us, they don't care if we stay or go. I think we didn't get good pest control and they just took our money. It's not right. Me and my husband shouldn't have to be up at 3am chasing and catching a mouse in our house. When we signed up for this, I was seven months pregnant with our son, and we had just seen a bunch of mice in our new house. We just wanted to get rid of them before our son was born. But now we're back to where we started and it feels like we wasted our time.

On January 25, 2022, the Senate Termite & Pest Control was supposed to come to my house and remove the old insulation from my attic, sanitize the area, seal all the holes, and replace it with new insulation. They were scheduled to arrive at 10 am, but they actually showed up at 10:15 am. They finished their work at 11:45 am. I noticed that they were having trouble locking my door, so I called the company. I arrived at my home around 12:20 pm and went to check the attic. I was disappointed to see that some of the holes I had pointed out earlier were not sealed. The biggest issue was that it seemed like they just sprayed the new insulation on top of the old one. They even sprayed insulation on top of the squirrel traps that the previous worker had set up there. I called to complain, and they told me that someone would call me back. The next day, they returned my call and said that a manager would come out to fix the issues and address my concerns. On January 26, 2022, a guy came to pick up the traps and took pictures. The manager was scheduled to come and fix everything on January 27, 2022, at 1 pm. However, I received a call at 1:15 pm asking if he could come on January 28, 2022, because he was stuck doing a job in Pennsylvania. I called the Senate Termite & Pest Control again because I had taken time off work, and I found it very unprofessional that they changed the appointment without informing me. They charged me $3332.34, and on the invoice, they only listed "insulation." I want a full refund because they wasted my time and did not do what I asked for. I also have a video to support my claim.
