Mixed Experiences on Fiverr: A Review from an Expert
As an expert in the freelancing industry, I have observed a range of experiences on Fiverr. While some users have praised the platform for connecting them with talented freelancers, others have expressed frustration with issues like poor communication, delayed deliveries, and lackluster customer support. It's evident that Fiverr's marketplace has both strengths and weaknesses, making it crucial for users to exercise caution when engaging with sellers. Despite the mixed reviews, Fiverr remains a popular choice for those seeking creative services online.
Stay away from scams
I'd like to share my experience so no
I'd like to share my experience so no one else falls into the same situation as I did. I posted my job onto GURU and all was wonderful UNTIL IT WASN'T but it was nop one's fault but my own I thought I found the graphic artist to award and for some reason he told me he wasnt receiving the money I had sitting in the account and being I was such a nice woman would I like to pay him instead through PayPal and I agreed. All was wonderful until it came to doing 9x12 presentation folders that i paid $400.00 for 250 the art work was approved but IT WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY. When I told ***@YAHOO THE PROBLEM HE COULD CARE LESS. AND BEING HE WAS NOT PAID THROUGH GURU I HAVE NO WHERE TO TURN.
UPENKUMAR IS NOT KNOWLEDGABLE & I STRONGLY SUGGEST STAYING AWAY FROM HIM
Fiverr works better than other Freelance Sites by a big shot
Tried many interfaces and Fiverr is so good they are even selling their interface.
I get constant daily work and am dealing with my customers, while big brother Fiverr makes sure they are kept in line. Its coming down to my effective quoting and working my time effectively. To make it work one must work and quote effectively. Its the way of the future. Forget bidding, forget trying to pitch to customers. If you have something that people need and can get online they will come to you, if you in a saturated field its tough, I offer a niche so I get steady work. I made a good promo and Fiverr has a video interface, better than the others, and I tried them all. I do not compete with others, I do not pay a subscription or money to bid. People come to me, I get work, I will raise my price as demand grows.

The best baby diaper available in the world!
The best diaper ever seen! Disposable ?r cloth diapers? This diaper producer met my longing for a better one considering the fact that Ive been using several diapers before but they didnt fulfil my satisfaction. On behalf of Fiverr Sellers. I am Sorry!
Wow! I am currently starting a blog for WAHMs and Fiverr is one of my favorite ways to make income. I did a Google on Fiverr reviews and I came across this site. I have to say that I was in shock to see so many dissatisfied customers.
My name is Mary Carroll and I make Wix websites. My work is impeccable and I work with my customers until they are completely happy or I will refund their money. No questions asked. I have over 200 feedbacks and about 4 of them are dissatisfied customers, everyone else is happy with my business and quality of work.
I feel so sad to see that the Fiverr community has let you down. I would hope that Fiverr wants to make things better by putting better measures to benefit the customers.
Please feel free to contact me on Fiverr if you need a Wix website built. You can review my feedback and see that it is full of positive reviews.
Thank you for posting your frustrations, just remember that there are still good people who do love their customers and their customers love them back.
Wish you all well.
Why you should one look at Fiverr
If you live in the modern world you do know everything is business. Business has to charge you so much because they have a huge overhead. What if there was a site that connected the "consumer" with individuals (companies) providing legitimate services at 75-99% off. That's right. A huge savings over the "real world" you may ask what's the catch? Well just like any treasure-hunt you have to glean the site and do your due diligence in order to find those quality individuals that will explicitly help you. I have tried spreading the word to friends. But some people just don't get the value thats inherent in this new platform for a new century. In my opinion you can get scammed for $5 or you can score 100's to 1000's of $ value services for $5-$10... which will happen it's totally up to you. I figured more people should know about this site because it is a model for the new world of how we work and get things done. Please take five minutes of your day or week and check it out. BTw i am not affiliated in any way with the site just fyi.
I'm surprised to find all of the one star reviews for
I'm surprised to find all of the one star reviews for fiverr.com. I guess the experience can vary greatly depending on who you choose to use on the site.
I've been fortunate to have very good experiences with the majority of gigs I have purchased on Fiverr. Since SiteJabber is for reviewing the SITE, I definitely have to give fiverr five stars. I think it's an awesome idea, and fiverr has gone a great job of organizing their interface and feedback system. It allows you to quickly find someone offering their services and see what kind of experiences others have had with them.
I just referred my brother to them a few days ago and he has been very happy with his first experience with them. It just so happens that he was over by my house today and brought it up in our conversation. He had an excel program he wanted created in connection with his business and he was very happy with someone he used on fiverr to create it. He is familiar with creating excel macros, etc. (as am I), but it's so much better to have someone do it who does it day in and day out and is able to do it much more efficiently than he or I could.
Most people don't understand how to use the interface
Most of the people who are complaining here are making statements that clearly show that they don't know how to use the website. Someone even says, "The guy marked the order complete without ever turning in the work." No. That is absolutely incorrect. The seller cannot mark ANYTHING as "complete". It is impossible. The "buyer" (or customer) must mark it complete, or the website (Fiverr) does it for you after 3 whole days. If you are placing an order, and don't bother to check your messages for up to 3 days, the order is then marked as complete. If you're spending money on a service, you should probably make sure that YOU understand how it works before you get on random websites to complain about it. I have been using Fiverr for 3 months and it is a lovely service platform... IF you know what you're doing. That's why there are FAQ and Terms of Service pages. Everyone is always trying to find someone else to blame for their ignorance and it's frustrating. Especially since every single customer has the right to "reject" the order if the quality isn't up to par with their expectations. Every single one. You don't HAVE to accept low quality work. But you DO have to know exactly what you're doing and not blame a website for your OWN stupidity.
I ordered 4 gigs with 4 different individuals
I ordered 4 gigs with 4 different individuals. 3 for doing some research and one for an ebay seller site. Two researches' results were what I wanted. One researcher told me in all honesty that she did not have the expertise on that topic and refunded the money. Each of the researchers received 40$. The individual working on the ebay site was a tad on the expensive side (100$) but I got what I paid for and then some.
I have not a single bad experience and will continue to use them. This my experiences as a client. You can always find bad apples but here, fiverr comes in as mediator: If you don't like the work you should be able to get your money back since fiverr obviously (reading comments from sellers on this site) is on the buyer's side (whether fairly or not).
I had one question for customer service which was answered sufficiently within 72 hours, Good enough for me.
As a seller I cannot imagine to live off fiverr if you live in one of the high cost countries. But I can imagine that it may support you if the cost of living is low and a stream of 20$ gigs gets you somewhere. This is global trade for the little guys. Each partner wins because of the difference of cost of living of seller via buyer. I doubt that I would get what I received (quality- and quantity-wise) for the money invested locally (in the US). On the other side, I would not even consider going locally after some pricing research. I would not have progressed any further. So, I did not take someone here a job away, but added a source of income to someone who can make better use of my money.
All in all: so far I have had a very good experience as a client and will continue utilizing their service but am ready to find a bad apple or two amidst.
As a freelancer you have to start small and start smart, but
I was a member of Fiverr as a seller but had a gig that never sold. Then, I decided to get serious about Fiverr and found a way to start with smaller cheaper gigs and work my way up. I now get $100+ for most of my gigs, I have 121 5reviews, I'm a 2nd level seller, and I've made almost $7,000 in 11 months. This helps supplement my full-time local business with business that I get from all over the world.
Yes, sometimes customer service isn't exceptional. There's an occasional scammy buyer or some seller throws an offer at me without so much as a "hello" -- but that's the fault of people, not the platform. I don't have a monthly fee to Fiverr, I don't have to pay to pass tests to qualify for gigs, they don't charge me their fee when I land a client on Fiverr. I get great reviews and many repeat customers because I over-deliver.
Update 3/6/17: A few updates, now over $10.5K on Fiverr. 193 reviews. 237 orders. 19 cancellations. Profile: eclectictllc
In reading more reviews and complaints about Fiverr: I won't say Fiverr support are angels, because that's untrue. Make sure you're paying a reasonable amount for what you're going to get, and maybe you'll get higher quality sellers. If you go to Fiverr thinking you can get a whole novel edited for $5 only $4 of which goes to the seller, what do you expect the quality of the work to be? You have a huge pool of talent, and the more talented people are going to demand a better price for their work. You do truly get what you pay for. If you think that Fiverr staff are terribly motivated on behalf of $5 buyers who are out to rip off sellers, you're probably wrong. There are many buyers who are dedicated repeat customers on Fiverr, and do large projects with sellers. I know, because I'm one of them. And I know other people in my local business community who have built up relationships with Fiverr sellers. Find someone, vet them, talk to them, start with a small project and then work up -- both in size of project and fee scale -- to larger projects with your trusted sellers. It's how you create a relationship ANYWHERE in the business world. And Fiverr and Fiverr sellers are businesspeople.
Fiverr is excellent value for buyers or sellers
I have been a Fiverr buyer for 3 years and a seller on Fiverr for 30 days.
Fiverr is a platform where you have independent individuals (not employees) that can be very talented, at the very least saving you a lot of time outsourcing tasks at the cheapest rate. As with any other website where you hire a freelancer, it is up to you to screen candidates before hiring them. Fiverr protects the buyer and seller as much as possible, but you also have a responsibility.
If you buy a Gig, you can cancel if the seller does not deliver in the agreed time. The seller has to mark the job as completed and you have to accept it or reject it. If you don't do anything, the job will auto-close in 3 days as if you agree that it is completed. Never accept jobs that only delivers after the closing date, that does not make any sense to do that.
For Sellers, Fiverr keeps your payment for 2 weeks and takes 20%. Amazon, for example, keeps your money for 6 weeks and keep at least 30% of your payment. They both have a clientele of ready buyers and they provide you free exposure or traffic.
My experience with buying Gigs have been above average value for the money spent.
Yes, there were duds, people who didn't deliver, but that is a tiny percentage. I have never lost money with Fiverr.
Like any other company, Fiverr has terms of service, most of which are common sense, such as, for sellers, no fake accounts, no fake orders and reviews for your own Gig etc. If you ignore these, your account will be suspended. Play by the rules, this protects both buyers and sellers.
If you're concerned that you'll lose $5 by trying Fiverr, then don't use it. But also consider that everything new has a learning curve, you don't stop at the first bad experience, when I cancelled orders, I simply got another Fiverr user to do the job. If you're starting a business, try and get the vision of what Fiverr users can do for you.
If you're not experienced in buying outsourced tasks or not willing to do due diligence and search for the best candidate to do the job, then this is probably not for you. If you're a business person who values your own time, I'd love to know of another service that is available at such a low rate and high value. Thank you Fiverr.
Fiverr Review: A Rollercoaster Ride for Sellers - Lack of Support and Protection, Unfair System, and Account Restrictions
I've been using Fiverr for 9 months now as a seller, and I have to say, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. While I've had some great experiences with buyers who appreciate my work, I've also had to deal with some pretty unpleasant individuals who seem to think that they can get away with bullying and harassing sellers in order to get free work.
One of the biggest issues I've faced on Fiverr is the fact that buyers can manipulate sales by threatening to leave negative feedback. This is a real problem, as it means that sellers are often forced to do work for free or risk having their reputation damaged. It's not a fair system, and it's something that Fiverr really needs to address.
Recently, I had my account restricted by Fiverr without any warning or explanation. When I contacted their customer service team to find out what was going on, they told me that they had received several complaints from my previous buyers about the quality of my work. They also said that they couldn't allow sellers on their marketplace who offer poor experiences for buyers, and that I would need to wait 45 days before I could withdraw any revenue from my account.
Now, I have to say, I was pretty shocked by this. I had a 100% score from 59 five-star reviews, and I had repeat business from multiple buyers. I'm not saying that I'm perfect, but I don't think that my performance was poor enough to warrant having my account restricted. I'm also very much against bullying, harassment, and hate speech, so I don't think that I've done anything to deserve this treatment.
I've asked Fiverr to provide me with more information about the complaints that they received, but so far, they haven't been very forthcoming. I'm really frustrated by this, as I feel like I'm being punished without any real evidence against me. I'm also concerned that my reputation has been damaged by this incident, and I'm not sure how I'm going to recover from it.
One thing that I do know is that I'm not alone in my frustration with Fiverr. I've heard from other sellers who have had similar experiences, and I think that it's time for us to take action. As a lawyer myself, I'm considering starting a class action against Fiverr to hold them accountable for their actions. I think that it's important for us to stand up for ourselves and demand better treatment from this platform.
Overall, I have to say that my experience with Fiverr has been mixed. While I appreciate the opportunities that it has given me to connect with buyers and sell my services, I'm also frustrated by the lack of support and protection for sellers. I hope that Fiverr will take our concerns seriously and work to create a more fair and equitable platform for everyone involved.
Fiverr's Unfair Treatment of Sellers: My Experience as a Level 2 Seller with 6 Years of Experience and $28,000 in Earnings
I recently had a bad experience with Fiverr, and I feel like I need to share my story. I have been a seller on Fiverr for over 6 years now, and it is my full-time job. I depend on this platform for my livelihood. I have made over $28,000 on this platform, and Fiverr has also profited with 10% at $2,800. I am a level 2 seller, and my metrics are better than 99% of sellers on Fiverr. My reviews are 4.9/5, based on buyers' experience, and I have a 100% response rate, 100% on-time delivery, and 97% order completion rate.
However, on August 15th, everything changed. My messages stopped, my orders stopped, and I was appearing on the LAST page of the search results overnight. This literally happened overnight, at the click of a finger. I was devastated and confused. I immediately contacted Fiverr support, and I was told by SEVEN members of staff that they CANNOT influence the positioning of gigs in their results. This INCLUDES responses from a Team Lead AND a Shift Manager. I had a final concern stating this was not right and something was very wrong. However, my support ticket was just closed out manually by "Santiago | Shift Manager" totally ignoring my concerns. 3 days had NOT passed in this time, so it was not automatically closed.
Naturally, I immediately raised another ticket, and I provided screenshot evidence of my search position changing to the last page, no messages received, and no orders received. However, they continued to say things along the lines of: "I absolutely understand your concerns regarding your Gigs and after further review, I can confirm that everything is fine. And your gigs available in search. As mentioned in the previous request." I pushed and pushed because something was VERY WRONG here. Screenshots do not lie. I have been doing this SIX YEARS. My messages/orders have NEVER stopped ONCE, NOT ONCE! Until finally, Oscar said, "If necessary, Fiverr may conduct a manual review of your service, typically when we get complaints about the experience working with you. If we find that the actual experience users are having with you is not appropriately reflected on your metrics, we may take action to help you improve on those areas. This is why your gigs have been pushed back in search."
Oscar then went on to say that I had to advertise Fiverr.com in order to bring my gig back to the front of the search. This sounds REALLY BAD, and Fiverr could get into so much trouble for this practice. I opened a support case presenting these screenshots with Fiverr, and it was instantly closed. No reply. Nothing.
So my complaint is as follows: Fiverr customer support is lying to its sellers stating that they cannot influence search presence for gigs. They closed out my ticket when I had concerns over my search presence, making me feel like I was wrong. Fiverr is handpicking sellers and manually pushing them back in the search as 'punishment' without any explanation or anything. If my service is so bad, then WHY do I have 4.9 star average reviews? WHY do I have over 1000 reviews? WHY is my order completion so high? WHY do I have 100% response rate? Reviews speak for themselves. Reviews are a fair and balanced way of ordering search presence based on buyer experience. Fiverr does not mention ANYWHERE in their terms of service that they manually punish sellers. My attachment shows SEVEN staff members stating they CANNOT do this.
I hope Fiverr takes this seriously and does something about it. I have been a loyal seller for over 6 years, and I deserve better treatment than this.
Fiverr's Unfair Treatment of Freelancers: My Experience and Why I Won't Recommend It Anymore
I used to love Fiverr, but now I'm not so sure. As a seller, I've drawn hundreds of portraits and made many people happy. I always provided the best quality for a low price, and I did it because I enjoyed it, not for the money. However, I won't be using Fiverr anymore, and I don't recommend that you do either.
The reason for this is that Fiverr takes 20% of our revenue, which is too much. But that's not the worst part. Recently, I got a warning on my Gig to remove the word "Simpsons" from my Gig description. This is ridiculous because "Simpsons style" is just a name for a style, and adopting this style is not against the copyright act. No one can have the copyright for a style like Manga or Impressionism or Surrealism. It's just not possible.
I removed the word from my Gig title, but their codes malfunctioned when I was trying to fix the Gig. Then, I found out that there was still a "Simpsons" word in the Gig description, and my Gig was removed immediately without any further notifications or discussions. I was never allowed to edit and restore it again, and my access to it was forbidden permanently. I had to contact customer support by email to get my FAQs and description texts back.
I had been working on this Gig for years and invested a lot of money in it. I could have built my own website and trademark with the money that Fiverr has cut from my revenue so far. I'm very upset about this, but I'm even more upset about how I was treated.
I wasn't obsessed with getting my Gig back, but I was surprised at how they ignored their faults in this case. I investigated the matter and found out some facts. First, I wasn't warned or guided properly. Second, their codes malfunctioned in the fixing process. Third, removing the "Simpsons" word would have solved the issue in the first place. Fourth, my Gig was removed immediately after saving it, so I didn't have a complete chance to make it right. Fifth, it's still possible to restore the Gig, but they don't want to do that for some reason that they won't share with me. Sixth, customer support didn't read what I wrote at all and never accepted their faults on this matter.
There are still dozens of Gigs on Fiverr that include the word "Simpsons" on both titles and descriptions, and these artists have adopted similar styles that we call "Simpsons Style," but they haven't faced any consequences. Fiverr advised me to report them instead of restoring my Gig.
I'm very upset about this situation. Fiverr wasted my time, efforts, and investments on this Gig, which took years to build. Their decision is ridiculous, and they don't even try to offer any valid reasons. I feel like they're oppressing, discriminating, and exploiting their freelancers to save money. I hope this isn't their company vision and mission.
If you're a freelancer and want to act on these matters, please contact me. We can form a syndicate or something. I wish you all the best, and thank you for reading this post. I hope you'll think about it and make your judgments. After seeing Fiverr's attitude, I'm afraid that people can easily ignore and refuse to think and act according to moral reasons. I want to believe that we, as humanity, still have some unique and common values like wisdom and justice.
Best regards,
PhD Ula? ?NDER.

Beware of Fiverr: My Experience with Scammers and Deceptive Sellers
Fiverr is a platform that I would not recommend. Although I had a great experience with the models/influencers and photo retouchers, the majority of the platform is run by foreigners who are out to scam you or deceive you to get your money. Many of them are dishonest in multiple ways, whether it's their location, skillset, or portfolio full of stock images or potentially stolen work.
My first experience was with an Indian developer who claimed he could code my website. However, the work he delivered was half-assed and he demanded extra payment for customization that I had already paid for. He claimed he couldn't modify parts due to Shopify, but I later found out that I could have bought a Shopify theme that had every feature I needed. I learned my lesson and realized that I should have done research before hiring him.
My second experience was with a Pakistani Amazon PPC expert who promised to help me sell my products. After 6 months of PPC and paying nearly $200-400 a month in advertising, Amazon mistakenly destroyed all my products. Although this wasn't the PPC seller's fault, he could have told me earlier that my product wasn't good enough for selling on Amazon. I paid him $195 a month for nothing and lost more every month on Amazon. During our last communication, he asked me to pay again to sell out the inventory which wasn't mentioned earlier. This is what they do! If a seller ever asks you to communicate outside of Fiverr, don't do it because they do it to avoid getting in trouble on Fiverr!
My third experience was with an "American" attorney who claimed he could write a professional legal demand letter. However, the letter he delivered was basically 1 paragraph, with the incorrect story and grammatical errors. It wasn't professional at all, especially for the $50 he charged. After some time, I suspected that he's not really from the USA and didn't actually go to the law school he claimed. To be fair, he offered to make changes for the issues but I already corrected everything myself since the letter was so simplistic.
My fourth experience was with an Indian 3D animator who made everything look ridiculous and cheap. I had to ask him numerous times to fix little details here and there that simply made no sense. At the end, I took what he delivered to me because he was starting to get impatient from all the changes I asked. But most of the stuff made zero sense.
Overall, this platform is a serious hit or miss, but I'd say beware and stay away. It's very difficult to get a refund from Fiverr and it makes you feel like a jerk for taking money away from a freelancer even if they didn't do their job. Getting a refund is nearly impossible the moment you purchase and realize it's not what you're getting.
I gave all the sellers 5-star reviews because I didn't want to be a "karen" despite getting practically scammed. I was hoping to do good and receive good karma but I was so wrong. I was also scared that these freelancers would try to sabotage my business somehow hence why I was being nice the whole time. I didn't feel like my backend accounts were in safe hands. Lastly, none of these freelancers/sellers were charging low prices either so please don't tell me "you get what you pay for".
Fiverr Review: Pros and Cons of Using the Freelance Marketplace for Book Publishing Needs
Fiverr is a website that I have used for my book publishing industry needs, such as editing, proofreading, artwork, and translations. My experience with Fiverr has been a mix of good and bad, and I will share both with you so that you can make your own opinion.
The good things about Fiverr are that the gigs are set up in a way that you can get an idea of how much your job might cost before you inquire. The star ratings also give you an idea of whether other buyers had a good experience. The payment options are easy, and you can use your credit card or Paypal. Fiverr also transfers payments automatically into foreign currencies, which is helpful because you don't have to deal with currency fluctuations around the globe. I have had some really positive experiences on Fiverr and met some great, hard-working sellers.
However, there are also some neutral things about Fiverr that you should be aware of. Fiverr doesn't hire or screen their sellers, and the rating system is crowd-sourced by other buyers. It's possible to game the system with reviews. You get what you pay for, so if somebody is charging far less than others for the same job and isn't a brand-new seller, it should send up a red flag. On the other hand, if somebody is brand-new, you may or may not want to take a chance on them. There is a 5% processing fee on top of whatever your gig cost is, which is not clearly spelled out. Fiverr doesn't differentiate between 'quickies' and professional-grade work, which could be improved so the truly great sellers rise to the top.
Now, let's talk about the bad things about Fiverr. Sellers are heavily skewed toward people who want to make a quick buck doing lots of quick $5 gigs, so if you have a larger job, you might end up with a lot of people who are flaky. You get a lot of amateurs on Fiverr, people who bid on a big job, and bit off more than they can chew. If you cancel your order, Fiverr keeps the money in your 'account,' and they don't refund the money. For a job such as translations, there are a LOT of shysters on Fiverr who simply cut-and-paste your document into GoogleTranslate or BabelCube, and you have no way to know unless you hire an independent editor to do a second pass-through. Due to the quick timeframe when you are expected to pay the seller after delivery and then rate them, by the time you realize you've gotten a translation that is so bad you cannot use it at all, there is no way to go back and make it known in the crowd-sourced ratings.
What gets rated is essentially 'did this seller deliver on time' and not QUALITY of the job. If the seller needs more time to finish the job for a legitimate reason and you want to give them that time to extend the deadline, Fiverr doesn't have a way to create a mutually extended deadline. Fiverr sellers have an unofficial 'blacklist' for buyers who leave a negative review for shoddy work. If you have money leftover in your account, you can only use that money if you hire a gig for the exact same amount of money or less, which is outright stupid bad business policy.
In conclusion, Fiverr has its pros and cons, and it's up to you to decide whether it's worth using for your needs. Just be aware of the potential issues and do your due diligence before hiring a seller.
Fiverr Review: A Safe and Legit Platform for Freelancers to Sell Their Services and Earn Money
Fiverr is a massive online marketplace that connects businesses with freelancers who offer digital services in over 300 categories. The platform's main goal is to revolutionize the way people work together, and it does so by providing a platform where customers can find relevant freelance services for their projects and order from their preferred freelancers worldwide.
As a freelancer on Fiverr, you are called a seller, and the services you offer are called gigs. When you create your Fiverr account, you need to list your gigs, and buyers who are interested in your service will ask questions and purchase them if they are satisfied with your offer. The gig prices on Fiverr vary from $5 to $10,000 depending on what service is offered.
You can currently offer gigs in eight categories, including Graphics & Design, Digital Marketing, Writing & Translation, Video & Animation, Music & Audio, Programming & Tech, Business, and Lifestyle. Each of these categories contains 30 subcategories, making it easy for you to find the gigs you can sell on the Fiverr marketplace.
One of the best things about Fiverr is that you can set your pricing for your gigs and even offer upsells. This means that you can increase your earnings by offering your clients additional services for an extra fee.
Fiverr is a safe and legit platform for freelancers to sell their services. The platform is protected with an SSL certificate that protects your billing and personal information. To ensure both sellers' and buyers' safety and satisfaction, Fiverr works as a middleman, holding your payment in escrow before you deliver the order.
However, not all clients may be honest and trustworthy on the platform. In case your client refuses to pay you for the service you've provided, you can contact Fiverr customer service to help you resolve the case. Fiverr has over 4,000 reviews on Trustpilot, with a total score of 4.1 out of 5-star rating. Negative reviews mostly belong to clients who state that they received poor services from freelancers on the platform.
Fiverr provides various features to ensure you feel safe and comfortable working through their site. The main feature of the Fiverr platform is a freelance marketplace, where sellers find gigs you as a seller has listed. The platform also offers custom offers, private communication, ratings and feedback, secure payment gateways, and seller protection.
To make money on Fiverr, you need to create your seller profile, create your gigs, browse client requests, accept client requests, deliver the service, and get paid. Creating a Fiverr seller profile and listing your gigs is free. However, when your gig sells, you're automatically charged $1 for every $5 you make or 20% of your order total.
In conclusion, Fiverr is an excellent platform for freelancers to sell their services and earn money. The platform offers a wide range of categories and subcategories, allowing freelancers to find gigs that match their skills and expertise. Fiverr is safe and legit, and it provides various features to ensure you feel safe and comfortable working through their site. However, the platform charges a high selling fee of 20% of each order, and it automatically accepts orders, which can be a disadvantage for some freelancers.
Fiverr Review: Great for Buyers, Terrible for Sellers - Stay Away!
Fiverr is a platform that offers a lot of options for buyers. As a buyer, you can explore the different gigs and message the seller to get an idea of their professionalism and response time. However, as a seller, I would advise you to stay away from Fiverr. The platform's operations often don't make sense, and they change the rules at will without any accountability to the sellers.
Fiverr may seem like a great place to start your own business, but in reality, you're working for Fiverr. They hold the payment in escrow until the buyer accepts the order, and you have to wait for 14 days to access your funds. Fiverr does nothing to help sellers grow their businesses, and they implement systems like the new ranking system that directly impacts your earnings.
I've been with Fiverr since 2010 and have earned nearly $20,000 so far. However, my income is now diminishing due to Fiverr's bizarre seller ranking system. Despite having thousands of 5.0 star reviews, I've been demoted to a "New Seller" with a 7 gig limit, limiting my income potential.
Fiverr's front page now features mostly "New Sellers," many of whom have been with the platform for years and were previously Level 2 or Top Rated Sellers. Fiverr's constant changes and complications have directly impacted the income of its sellers, and it's clear that the platform is run by a bunch of complete [censored]s who have no idea how to grow a business.
In contrast, running my own t-shirt business on www.tkshirts.tk is a true example of running my own business. I have control over my income, website, and marketing, and I receive marketing support from PayPal. Fiverr should be supportive of its active and longest-serving members, but instead, they continually mess things up and make it harder to earn a living.
In conclusion, Fiverr may seem like a great platform for buyers, but as a seller, it's best to stay away. The platform's constant changes and lack of support for its sellers make it difficult to grow your business and earn a living.
Unjustly Closed Fiverr Account: My Experience as a Top Seller
Hey, my name's Anthony and I gotta say, Fiverr has been a game changer for me. I'm a CEO with my own music marketing company and I've been a top seller on Fiverr for over 3 years now, raking in close to $70k in sales. When you search for music promotion or music blogs on Fiverr, my business is the top result. I started my business on Fiverr and I've loved it ever since. I've grown with the company as they've evolved and all of our gigs have been top rated with thousands of five star reviews.
Fiverr has transformed my life in so many ways. I've used the money I've made on the platform to travel the world and pay off my student loans and credit card debt. But recently, my account was unexpectedly closed due to what seems like simple misunderstandings that Fiverr doesn't seem to want to work with me to fix. And let me tell you, their customer service is a joke. They don't even have a working phone number! I had to do some serious digging to find a way to speak with a supervisor. For a company worth billions, you'd think they could afford a working phone line. But no, they're too busy trying to cut costs and increase profits. It's clear that the owners are just too greedy. They jacked up the fees to 20% for both buyers and sellers, meaning they keep 40% of all revenue generated. That's insane! And when I tried to reach out to the CEO on Twitter for help, he blocked me!
But let's get back to the real issue here. My Fiverr account, Bosshogg777, was closed about a month and a half ago due to what 'Jay' (head of Fiverr customer support) said were multiple TOS violations. But I don't believe that's the case. I've been a top ranked seller on Fiverr for over 3 years with over $65,000 in sales. Jay said my account was closed for low quality of service, mis-delivering orders, and multiple chargebacks. But that just doesn't make sense. If we were delivering low quality work or mis-delivering orders, we wouldn't have an average rating of 4.9 stars and thousands of clients, many of whom are repeat customers we've developed personal relationships with over the years.
The only time I mis-delivered an order was when the buyer didn't provide the gig requirements in time. I simply sent them a message asking for the info so we could complete the gig. I didn't know that was a TOS violation and that I could use the resolution center to request more time if the buyer didn't respond in time. But that's just one mistake, not multiple. And it certainly shouldn't warrant the permanent closure of my account.
Jay also said we received 25 chargebacks over the course of 3 years and that they were solely due to poor quality of service. But I disagree. All of those buyers left 5 star reviews and never mentioned any issues or requested refunds. They were engaging in deliberate fraud to get services for free. Fiverr has no system in place to protect sellers from chargebacks due to fraud. They don't require any in-depth security measures, like verifying a buyer's identity with a driver's license or ID card. The only thing that happens to a buyer who commits fraud is that they might get a warning or have their account closed. But they can just sign up for a new account and do it all over again. This is a huge vulnerability in the Fiverr marketplace that needs to be addressed immediately. And I shouldn't be punished for chargebacks due to fraud.
Does mis-delivering one order and having less than 1/2 of 1% of all orders result in chargebacks warrant having my top ranked seller account closed? I don't think so. My business was founded on Fiverr and we've generated a ton of revenue for them. We have excellent metrics and customer reviews and our revenue has increased every year. All of our gigs have thousands of 5 star reviews, many of which are from repeat clients. We've made nearly $70,000 in sales over 3 years and that number would have continued to increase if our account wasn't closed.
I appreciate that Fiverr has allowed me to make a new account, but starting from scratch will take years to build back what I've lost. They're preventing me from accessing nearly $2,000 in revenue from sales I've already completed for 90 days! That's just not right.
This whole situation has turned my world upside down. I depend on this income to survive and now all of my credit cards are maxed out and I've missed multiple payments. I went from making $3-5k a month to $200-300. It's so bad that sometimes I can't even sleep at night, wondering how I'll pay my rent or buy groceries.
I've been through a lot in my life, from losing my father at a young age to watching my mother go through cancer. But this situation with Fiverr is just beyond fathomable. I've taken many losses in life, but I don't think I should be punished for simple misunderstandings that can be corrected. I eat, sleep, and breathe Fiverr. If you look at the thousands of reviews we've accumulated on all of our gigs, you'll see that we only provide the highest quality of services.
It's a shame that Fiverr has an F rating with the BBB and so many complaints. I'm pursuing legal action and I have an attorney who will make sure they get what they deserve.

Deceptive Gig Title and Pricing: My Experience with Fiverr
I recently had an experience with Fiverr and wanted to share my thoughts. I came across a gig titled "I will do everything related to Google Maps API for $5" by a Level 1 Seller named Waqas_lateef. I reached out to him on April 13th but did not receive a response, so I went ahead and opened a project on Freelancers.com. The next day, Waqas_lateef responded to my message and we began discussing the project.
I asked him if he could accomplish everything related to Google Maps API as stated in his gig title and what his time table was. He responded by asking if I meant turn by turn directions and then proceeded to inform me that he would charge $600 for the project and could deliver it by the end of the month. I declined his offer, as his gig title clearly stated that he would do everything related to Google Maps API for $5.
Waqas_lateef then argued that all gigs on Fiverr start at $5 and that there is a concept of "custom order" where the seller and buyer can agree on a higher price for a bigger project. However, he did not disclose this information in his gig description or messages, which I found to be deceptive.
I believe that Waqas_lateef's gig title was misrepresentational and his approach was not honest. He did not provide pricing disclosure as reputable Fiverr sellers do, and he denied and argued with the facts. Bait and switch, misrepresentation, and non-disclosure are not acceptable business practices.
Overall, my experience with Fiverr was not positive due to this encounter. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with sellers who do not provide clear pricing information and to thoroughly read gig descriptions before making a purchase.
My Fiverr Nightmare: How They Stole My Money and Shut Down My Account
Listen up, folks! I gotta tell you about my experience with Fiverr. I thought it was gonna be my ticket to making some cash as a freelancer, but boy was I wrong. I worked my butt off as a seller, putting in hours and hours of work every day. And you know what? I actually did pretty well! I got to Level 2 in just three months, and my reviews were all five stars. I didn't even have to beg for them! I was just quick and responsive to my buyers, and they were happy with my work.
But then, things started to go south. I created a gig that was totally unique on Fiverr, and it started to get a lot of attention. But before I knew it, other sellers were copying my gig left and right. And then, out of nowhere, Fiverr cancelled my gig without any explanation. When I asked why, they gave me some BS about their "enforcement team" reporting it. But get this: they didn't cancel any of the other gigs that had copied mine! And then, one of those copied gigs suddenly got a ton of positive reviews overnight. It was pretty clear to me that Fiverr was playing favorites.
And it only got worse from there. They started rejecting my other gigs, one by one, until they had cancelled all of my top-selling gigs. And when I tried to recreate them, they just kept cancelling them! Eventually, they even deactivated my account. And get this: I had almost $13,000 in earnings that I hadn't withdrawn yet, because of some stupid bank issue. And Fiverr just kept it all! They didn't even bother to reply to my emails.
So here's my advice to all of you: stay far away from Fiverr. Sure, you might make a few bucks here and there, but if you start to get too successful, they'll just steal your ideas, your money, and your livelihood. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Navigating Fiverr: Legitimate Services and Fraudulent Behavior
Fiverr is a website that offers a wide range of services to people all over the world. From graphic design to writing, there is something for everyone on this platform. However, there have been some concerns raised about the legitimacy of the services offered on Fiverr.
One of the main issues that people have raised is the possibility of fraudulent behavior. Some users have reported that they have been scammed by sellers who promised to deliver a service but failed to do so. This is a serious concern, and it is important for users to be cautious when using Fiverr.
If you do encounter fraudulent behavior on Fiverr, there are steps you can take to report it. You can file a report with the appropriate authorities or contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to file a complaint. It is important to take action if you have been scammed, as this can help prevent others from falling victim to the same scam.
Despite these concerns, there are many legitimate services offered on Fiverr. One of these services is IELTS writing preparation, which helps students prepare for the writing paper of the IELTS exam. However, there have been some misunderstandings about this service.
Some Fiverr staff members have claimed that IELTS writing preparation is a form of academic fraud. However, this is not true. The essays written in preparation for the exam are written on random topics and cannot be submitted. The purpose of this service is to help students improve their knowledge of essay structure and understanding of the marking criteria before their real exam takes place.
It is important for Fiverr staff members to understand the services offered on their platform before making unfounded claims. By familiarizing themselves with the services offered, they can better serve their users and prevent misunderstandings.
In conclusion, Fiverr is a platform that offers a wide range of services to people all over the world. While there have been concerns raised about fraudulent behavior, there are many legitimate services offered on this platform. It is important for users to be cautious and report any fraudulent behavior they encounter. Additionally, it is important for Fiverr staff members to understand the services offered on their platform to prevent misunderstandings.

Fiverr Review: Scam or Legit? Don't Waste Your $5 Until You Read This!
You head over to Fiverr's website and follow their 3 SIMPLE STEPS, but that's where the trouble begins. You might end up getting scammed or wasting your $5 on something that you thought was simple and would give you the results you wanted. Fiverr promises a lot, and you might not realize what you're getting into until it's too late. Many people register their $5 with Fiverr and don't get what they were supposed to have. Not everyone will leave a review on their experience because it's only $5, but some people who have been scammed will share their experience on Fiverr.
Fiverr claims to have a lot of gigs, "I will create, I will record, I will design, whatever they can do to scam you." They promise to boost your traffic and help you get more sales, but in reality, the only sale happening is for Fiverr, which is your $5. They might act like they value your business, but they will eventually refuse your idea, and once you request a refund, it doesn't go back to you but instead goes to Fiverr.
Don't trust the 5-star reviews or the good commentaries because they might be fake. Fiverr needs to get fake people, fake high rate reviews, and fake accounts to convince real people to burn their money for their own benefit. Under comments, you'll only see the option for "Was this helpful?" - YES is the only option for you to click, which is obviously BS because what they tell you is completely different from what you expect them to do.
There isn't much to say about Fiverr because all they do is convince you to register for their 3 easy steps for you to get scammed. It's hard to make a refund even if you get to talk to customer service, who is also aware of what Fiverr does and will just let you down and avoid you as much as they can.

Navigating the Saturated Market of Fiverr: A Voice Artist's Review
I've been a voice artist for over 6 years now and Fiverr has been my go-to platform for finding work. I've completed over a thousand voice overs during that time and have received excellent reviews and ratings. When I first started out in the voice over business, I had experience with theatre, teaching, and training, which helped me gain a foothold in the industry. Fiverr was a great place to get my feet wet and gain experience, even though the pay was quite low.
However, over the past couple of years, Fiverr has become completely saturated with talent. There are so many people registered on the site that it's become difficult to stand out and attract new clients. Fiverr expects us to advertise on our own and bring clients to the platform, even though we get paid much less than we would on other sites. As a voice artist, if I'm going to advertise, I want to send people to a site where I can make decent money. While I do get a lot of return customers on Fiverr, I rarely get new ones because I'm not advertising and the site is too saturated. Many talented people are leaving the platform because of this, and I'm considering doing the same.
Another issue with Fiverr is that it attracts people who want to rip you off, pay you next to nothing, and expect you to do things that any professional would not expect. Some of these people even threaten to leave bad reviews if you don't do extra work for them. Fiverr needs to do a better job of protecting its users from these types of clients. Additionally, the automatic way they evaluate some of the metrics is not always accurate, and I've had my status lowered due to inaccurate calculations. Unfortunately, Fiverr won't correct the problem until the next month, so I've learned to ignore my status and rely on my past clients to know the quality of my work.
Despite these issues, I've also hired services on Fiverr and have found that the value for money is great. However, it does require a bit of searching and communication with the person you hire. They can't read your mind, so it's important to make your expectations clear. If you're not willing to communicate, then don't bother using Fiverr. The people on the platform are getting paid next to nothing to help with your project, so please make it easy for them to understand what you want. If you're willing to put in the effort, you'll get great value for your money.
There are some scammers on Fiverr, just like any site, so I suggest doing a smaller paying job with someone first to see if you're a good fit before hiring them for a bigger, more important project. Also, please don't ask for an even larger discount. The prices on Fiverr are already much lower than what should be charged, and asking for a bigger discount is insulting.
Overall, Fiverr was a somewhat okay place to work a few years ago, even with the poor customer service. However, starting a profile now is not a good idea because the site is too saturated with talent already. If you're willing to put in the effort to communicate and search for the right person, you'll get great value for your money. But if you're looking for stellar quality, be prepared to pay someone who charges more money and has more reviews.
Fiverr Review: A Flawed System with Unfair Competition and Poor Money Management
So, I've been using Fiverr for a while now and I have to say, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. I've seen a lot of reviews about buyers getting scammed, and I can totally see why. Fiverr is a good idea, but it's been executed poorly in all aspects. And let me tell you, it's no walk in the park for a real seller either.
One of the biggest issues is having to compete with the cheaper copywriters and crap that run rampant across the website. It's tough to stand out when you're up against people who are willing to work for pennies. And the system in place where your exposure is totally dependent on reviews is a double-edged sword. While it's not unusual for a platform to rely on reviews, the first review you get can heavily influence your integrity as a seller.
But that's not all. There's also the seller system where we don't get to pick what we can or can't take. If someone orders something, we have to accept it, regardless of our workload. And the money management is poor. If you complete an order early, you still have to wait for the due date to pass, PLUS two weeks to process. This can result in lost profit, and it's just not worth it when you need the money NOW.
There's also the matter of declination, which negatively impacts your page if you have to turn someone down. And the content timer where your maximum limit is 30 from (auto) accept or you get bad marks that pressures the sellers into rushing or becoming overloaded. It's a lot of pressure, and it can be overwhelming at times.
Now, I'm not saying that there aren't some sleazy folks floating around on Fiverr. But it completely washes away the chances of real work getting accomplished. And some buyers are just as cheap as the sellers.
Let me give you an example. I have two gigs set up, one for a simple pencil storyboard for visual context, and one for actual comic work. A customer began hounding me with questions about quality and such on the storyboard, which I gave a guarantee to. Then he asked if I could add ink to it, and I redirected him to the other option. He claimed it was a storyboard for a film project, but storyboards don't require high-quality ink.
He then refused to explain what the project was for, and instead of giving character designs, he insisted on cutting and pasting ideas from copyrighted images rather than making his own. From an artist's standpoint, it's unbearable due to the copyright fears, and his lack of creativity and poor writing ability. He even used "lol" in correspondence, which was unprofessional.
He eventually bought the proper gig, but it left me with two weeks to complete almost 20 pages. I was desperate for money and that coveted first review, so I had to comply. But I soon found out how uncreative and fishy he was. And it would take a month to get my money, complete or not. What originally started at $55 became $44, then $42 through PayPal, etc. I was trapped between quality of work, quantity of work, price, and time. I had to either list realistic expectations of maximum days (29) and wait that long for money I needed now, or list impossible odds to make ends meet and have disgruntled buyers.
Overall, Fiverr is not a good system. It's not worth the heartache and stress. If you're looking to sell your work, I would recommend Etsy or DeviantArt. Anywhere but here, where there be bull$#*!.
Fiverr's Poor Customer Support: Seller Tries to Destroy Online Reputation with Fake Reviews
I recently had an experience with Fiverr that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had ordered a gig from a seller named sammetcalf7 for reviews, but unfortunately, he did not deliver on time. After trying to reach him several times to find out what was going on, I decided to cancel the order. I told him that I would re-order and pay him for the Facebook reviews, as he did fill that part of the gig, and I would review him positively for this. However, he was unable to keep the Google reviews on, and they kept getting taken down. He could not fulfill the order, and I didn't give him a bad review. Fiverr did it on my behalf when I canceled the gig. I would have given him a chance to fill the order if he had responded.
After I canceled the order, he wrote back to me saying that this was not good. Then, magically, on Google Plus, he used one of his fake accounts to post a negative review about us. He also went onto our Facebook page and gave us 100 negative reviews with 1-star ratings in just one hour. This has gone way out of hand, and now he's set out to destroy our online reputation because he could not deliver on a job.
This is the ticket I submitted to Fiverr three days ago, and still, there is no reply. It's a complete joke. I also just updated my ticket today, letting them know that this issue is still ongoing, and they need to contact the pathetic seller and make this stop. Still, there is no response, and it just says "ticket open." This is still not resolved. He again just tried to write a bad Google review, but I have flagged him with Google, and they caught it and removed it again. This is getting pathetic. Stay away from Fiverr!
I received the following correspondence from the support team, but it was no help. They told me that they had escalated the ticket to their Marketplace Support Team, but there was no resolution. They just told me that the order had been canceled by me and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. I didn't want my money back. That's not what I cared about. I wanted them to take accountability for their sellers and correct this issue. He should not have the right to be a certified seller on their site if this is how he is going to react by posting 100 Facebook 1-star ratings and trying to post negative reviews. That is childish and pathetic.
I will be copying all links to this to many review sites to show what customer support at Fiverr gives. If I wanted money back and wanted to cancel the gig, I don't need their help. I was able to do that on my own. The point of writing a complaint is to have the issues rectified or have the seller removed. Again, he is trying to post negative reviews, and they are not doing anything to resolve this.
I understand that they have a privacy policy, but they need to take action against this seller. It's not fair that he can ruin our online reputation just because he couldn't fulfill the order. I hope that Fiverr takes this seriously and does something about it.
Mixed Experience with Fiverr: Easy to Use, but Beware of Low-Quality Freelancers and Poor Customer Service
Hey guys, I just wanted to share my experience with Fiverr. I've been using it for about a year now and I have to say, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride.
First off, let me just say that the platform itself is pretty easy to use. You can find freelancers for just about any task you need done, from graphic design to voiceovers to writing. And the prices are usually pretty reasonable.
But here's the thing - there are a lot of freelancers on Fiverr who aren't very good. I've had to go through a few different people before finding someone who could actually deliver what I needed. And even then, the quality can be hit or miss.
But my biggest issue with Fiverr is their customer service. I recently had a gig deactivated for what they claimed was "operating mass accounts from the same IP." I work in a commercial complex where there are multiple freelancers using the same internet connection, so I'm not sure how they can just assume that I'm doing something shady.
I've submitted multiple tickets to their support team and have yet to receive a response. It's frustrating because I've put a lot of time and effort into building up my profile on Fiverr, and now it feels like all of that hard work has gone to waste.
Overall, I think Fiverr can be a useful platform if you're willing to do some digging to find the right freelancer. But their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and I'm not sure if I'll continue using them in the future.
Fiverr Review: Disappointing Experience with Sellers and Poor Customer Support
I've been using Fiverr for a while now and I have to say, I'm not impressed. I've tried working with three different sellers and each time has been a letdown. It seems like the sellers don't understand their obligations to provide a quality product and deliver it on time. And when I've had complaints, Fiverr hasn't been very helpful. It's almost impossible to get a human response from them.
My last attempt was the best, but it still wasn't great. I went to great lengths to explain exactly what I wanted from a vocalist, but when I received the vocals, they were poorly equalized and had digital artifacts. I brought this to the seller's attention and they said they would fix it, but it took a long time and I had to keep following up with them.
The worst part was when I clicked "not ready to approve yet" because I wanted some revisions. Fiverr automatically closed out the order and released my money to the seller. This was a huge problem because I couldn't refer back to the order and the seller had already moved on to other clients. I had to wait for them to make the revisions, which took way longer than it should have.
In the past, I would have just hired a session vocalist and paid them after I was satisfied with their performance. But with Fiverr, I'm at the mercy of the seller. And it seems like Fiverr doesn't really care about the quality of the work or the satisfaction of their customers. They just take their commission and move on.
I've given feedback to Fiverr about the sellers I've worked with, but I've never received a response. It's frustrating because I'm on a deadline and I need to get this project done. If my money hadn't been released to the seller, I would have already moved on to the next song. But now I'm stuck waiting for someone who may or may not deliver what they promised.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Fiverr. There are better options out there for finding quality freelancers who will deliver on time and provide a satisfactory product.
Disappointing Experience with Fiverr Narrator: Michael Goodrick - Unrealistic Approval Period and Poor Quality Narration
I recently had a not-so-great experience with Fiverr and one of their narrators, Michael Goodrick. I had completed an audiobook recording with him, and two months later, the reviews started pouring in - and they were all negative. Every single one of them. I reached out to Fiverr and Michael Goodrick, hoping for some sort of resolution, but they both basically told me to deal with it. I understand that there is a three-day completion period, but I would have thought that they would take some sort of action to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
The three-day approval period is unrealistic, especially for an audiobook. It's impossible to approve every single word in a 278-page document in just three days. The complaints I received were numerous and varied. One reviewer, Mary C, said that the narrator missed critical things, like saying "Lieutenant" instead of just "LT." She also said that the intonation was off and that it sounded like they had hired a high school or college student to read the book. Another reviewer on Audible.com said that the narrator mispronounced many of the terms, using phonetic pronunciation instead of common terminology found in the Coast Guard and Navy. Examples included "Corpsman" being pronounced as "corpse man," "Boatswain mate" being pronounced as "boat swan mate," and "Lieutenant Commander" being spelled out as "L C D R."
I myself am a CG cutter vet, and I could envision the drama that unfolded in the book. However, the narration was so bad that it distracted from the excellent content. It was painful to hear the narrator mispronounce so many terms, and it really took away from the overall experience. I commute about two hours each day and have listened to over 60 audiobooks, and this narrator was by far the worst.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Fiverr and Michael Goodrick. I would have appreciated some sort of resolution or action taken to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The three-day approval period is unrealistic, especially for an audiobook, and it's impossible to approve every single word in just three days. I hope that Fiverr takes steps to improve their customer service in the future.
I want my money back!
They accuse me of having another account, later someone from support didn't even know why my account was deleted! Miserable! I ASK the support members because THEY said that My account sandrasan81 was verified with ID... Then why did they cancel my ID-verified account? Then, How can they verify an account by ID that uses a 'fake name' then? How can they prove that I have 2 accounts? I want them to Send me the proof! I want to know what WRONG I did in my account to get disabled! I want details and proof. Not copy-paste auto-response emails. I want my money back! They are a waste of time. They Don't have the proof. Look at they're screenshots.
My account was permanently disabled and cannot be reinstated.
My account was flagged for violating our Terms of Service, it is permanently disabled and cannot be reinstated. Fiverr has zero respect for or loyalty to the sellers! Absolutely unethical platform. Simply exploiting people. Fiverr banned my account 1 day before I withdraw my funds (160$). Today they ask me to delete the profile permanently. Didn't answer the questions I ask, and canceled the account for no reason, and no explanation, that is miserable! They didn't have proof that I have another account on Fiverr. I didn't cheat or lie or stole or comment on another profile or do a rating... they are just being rude and unprofessional. They take fees for tips the sellers give to the buyers Fiverr is miserable!
Desired outcome: Withdraw the funds (160$) .

I had several positive experiences with sellers on fiverr before this last project (which unfortunately is the most costly with a steep amount of money at stake). Seller has quit communicating, my funds are sitting in a clearance queue and will supposedly be released to Seller who has not delivered what was promised.
I tried to get insight on fiverr forums, but I'm getting more hostility from other sellers who seem to hate the customer.
Opened a case with their customer support but they are stalling and not communicating either.
What a scam.
SEO and link building scams
Fiverr refuses to remove SEO, link building scams and digital marketing scams every after they have been pointed out by profesionals.
Also, if you have been scammed and request your money back. The feedback comment gets removed allowing more and more people to get scammed.
Fiverr excuse fot this. "People are leaving behind positive comments"
But they more than well know. These are the people who don't know that have actually been totally scammed. (people who know nothing about seo or link building"
Fiverr banks on this. The professional feedback comments indicating it was a scam get removed after a refund. Allowing the next person to get scammed because the last person that left a positive comment does not actually know they got totally scammed
The business model of this freelance platform should be banned in many countries in my option. The company makes money from promoting scams with full knowledge.
Desired outcome: Removal all Indian and PK SEO and link building scams once identified. They dont do this

An Order on Fiverr
Hi, I have still not received a reply to this. I just submitted another cancellation order with a lot of details as to why and I have provided an abundance of proof in our previous correspondence as to terms and conditions of Fiverr that the provider has breached and also chat details of various quality issues, including my website being down for days, 14 days to generate images that should have taken just a few hours and more. My project is currently at a stand-still and I will need to hire a new smart contact programmer to start from scratch.
Here are the recent details I included in my request for cancellation:
The order is late, the order is not close to completion after previous extensions. The provider made an error that shut my website down for days and the provider has breached two portions of Fiverr's terms of service: they used incomplete deliveries to artificially extend the deadlines previously and they also asked for additional funds upfront to complete the current work. In addition they do not have the skills to complete the order they agreed to, even small text changes take multiple days and as things stand right now after more than 7 weeks of work they have not delivered one complete aspect of the project.
As of right now my project is at a stand-still because of this and I am accruing losses each day the project does not move forward. My launch date has been cancelled due to the inability of the provider to complete any of the tasks as outlined in my order. I have provided proof of all this via screenshots from our chat log. If the provider is able to provide the correctly generated images and meta data within the next couple of days
The provider himself admits in a recent chat message that he is only 75% done (which in my opinion is an exaggeration) but the point remains that he is not close to finishing and is late.
Desired outcome: refund
Removed and restricted gig without valid reasons.
If you Fiverr clients ever liked the Fiverr, it's especially because of honest sellers as me. I have drawn hundreds of portraits so far and made families, couples, kids and lonely people happy. Best quality for a low price and it was not for the money at all, I was having fun.
But I won't be on Fiverr anymore and please don't prefer working with them either. They are actually making their profit on freelancers by taking %20 of our revenues (this is too much to be fair) but have a look at this case to see their true face and how freelancers are being treated.
I've got a warning on my Gig to remove the "Simpsons" word from my Gig description. In fact "Simpsons style" is the name of the style and adopting this style is not against the copyrights act. Due to copyrights act A STYLE can't be a property of anyone! No body can have the copyrights of Manga style drawing, or Impressionism or Surrealism. This would be ridiculous. I have removed the word from my Gig title anyways, their codes which was supposed to guide me on the process malfunctioned when I was trying to fix the Gig but I have managed it. But then it appeared that still there is a "Simpsons" word in the "Gig description" but not in the Title and My Gig was removed immediately without further notifications or discussions and I have never been allowed to edit and restore it again. My access to it forbidden permanently and I hardly could get my FAQs and Description texts from Customer Support by an email. I have been working on it for years and invested lots for backlinks. I could build my own website and my own trademark easily with the money I have invested and they have cut from my revenue so far. I am very upset for it but especially for how I have been treated later.
I was not obsessed to get my Gig back, (This was a big shame on them and I can't keep working with them and risk my future investments so I have decided to built my own website) but I am surprised after I see how they ignore their faults in this case. I've just kept investigating the matter and found out some facts.
Here are the facts I have discovered about the process which took several days with 3 different support staff and lots of email traffic.
1. I am not warned and/or guided PROPERLY
2. Their codes MALFUNCTIONED in the fixing process.
3. Removing the "Simpsons" word would solve the issue in the first place. But they have tried to manıpulate me on this matter and told my drawings violates the copyrights as well. This is not true. Even if it is true, violator images could be removed not the whole Gig.
4. My Gig was removed immediately after saving the Gig so I didn't have a complete chance to make it right. They could contact me and tell me about the consequences properly. I was shocked when I saw they have "removed" the Gig and won't let me edit and restore it.
5. It is still possible to restore the Gig, by removing whatever they think against the copyrights but they don't want to do that for a reason that they don't share with me. In fact they don't have a valid reason but they want to oppress their freelancers to save from their expenses. This way is easier for them than helping freelancers to remove anything which is against the copyrights.
6. Customer support haven't actually read what I have written at all, they are obsessed with some wrong ideas on copyrights act and never want to learn or think about it. Never talked on the points which they are wrong and I am right. Never accepted their faults on this matter. Never discussed or explained my points properly. Just keep telling the same thing: "Your Gig violated the copyrights and won't be restored."
They are just ignoring these facts and never have a word on them no matter how hard I try.
By the way still there is dozens of Gigs on the Fiverr which includes "Simpsons" word on both titles and descriptions and these artists are adopted the similar styles we call "Simpsons Style" but they don't have any actions on them. (Which is the right thing because they are nor violating the act). They advice me to "report" them instead!
I am very upset. They have just wasted my time, efforts and investments on this Gig which took years. Their decision is ridiculous and don't even try to offer any valid reasons. When I try to explain this to myself, I find these words: OPPRESSION, DISCRIMINATION, EXPLOITATION. I hope these are not on their company vision and mission.
I wish the best for you my friends. Thank you for reading this post, thinking on it and for making your judgements. I have been pushed to think on very essential values humankind have after seeing their attitude. I am upset but mostly I am afraid after I saw how people can easily ignore and refuse to think and act according to moral reasons. I want to believe that we, the humanity still have some unique and common values as WISDOM and JUSTICE.
Please contact me if you want to act on these matters as a freelancer either. We may constitute a syndicate or something.
Best Regards.

Logo design via fiverr
To whom it may concern,
I placed an order via the website. The moment i realised my brief was not being followed i asked to cancel my project.
The seller immediately asked me to settle via paypal and asked for my details. He claimed that by cancelling the job i would affect the way he earns money for his family.
I checked my paypal and realised i could be safer by requesting his paypal email address.
I did not realise this was not the correct way to do things on fiverr and now I am concerned that my origial request for cancelling the service will be honored. can you please confirm as i would like my refund.
Many thanks,
Enek
Desired outcome: a full refund
Company denies receiving my payment.
On January 23, 2022 I made an on-line purchase from FIVERR.Com in the amount of $55.00 for a jacket.
I did not receive an acknowledgement nor any product.
After many e-mails sent back & forth between us, they have advised me that they do not see this payment in their system and advised me to contact my bank.
I have contacted my bank disputing this transaction.
And I am now receiving other e-mails from this company to purchase more items?.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive the jacket that I ordered and/or the 55.00 refunded.
