Wayfair CA Green Chenille Upholstered Sofa with Ottoman

I waited to review this item - I wanted to love this sofa, I liked the clean lines, and it met all my needs, high enough to vacuum under, deep enough to sleep on, removeable cushions and cushion covers. None of it matches, not even the colour. I bought teal green only, it’s more of a dark green - the colour isn't horrible. Which is about the only thing that is likeable about this sofa, oh and yes, I can vacuum under it.

This sofa purchase was going to be my forever sofa, I've been researching and saving for well over a year. I am 63 now, I do expect to need new cushions down the road as is normal, however I didn't think I would need a whole new sofa this soon. I've started saving for a new sofa and it will not be bought online. DO NOT BUY ANY SOFA BASED ON THE INFO THAT IS THERE.

See the web pages they all say something different, even the USA page for the - Boligee 85.83' Upholstered Sofa with Ottoman – which is no longer listed on the Canadian web site however that’s what led me to trying to find it and then finding all the other one images of the one I bought – I did find it on Wayfair under different companies and under different descriptions.

Some company did make the original Green Chenille sofa with Ottoman, just like someone makes a beautiful Oscar gown, then the next day a knock off company in a different country makes an inferior knock off as cheap as possible. I bought the cheap knock off, materials not price, no they made a profit off this sucker to be sure. Now depending on the Wayfair website for this sofa it can support a listed range of either 250 lbs. up to 1000 lbs. The seat depth in the description is listed 29"to 31.5 “, do not confuse the seat depth with overall depth for some reason it can be listed as both. That could be a language thing from the knock off company. The one I purchased measures 24” seat depth with the back cushions off and it measures 21" seat depth with the back cushions on. The height is another thing it’s listed in the product description of somewhere between 16” to 18” however when you sit the cushion compresses down to half an inch, so the height is around 12 inches. Very hard on your knees when attempting to stand. The seat cushions are not proper sofa cushions again they went cheap, there is a very soft 1-inch foam thing and then a blown polyester filler to give it loft on top of the 1-inch foam. Looks good until you sit, absolutely no support. You do realize this as your bottom goes numb from the springs in the body of the couch.

This is the perfect couch, if you do not want to be comfortable, hate having company or want to stage a home. Even better if you are 5' tall or under, weigh no more than 125 lbs., and need to be motivated to not sit or relax, no lounging on this thing. Another weird thing about this sofa is the cushions have zippers. Zippers are great, only the cushions have tufted buttons, you must cut the buttons off to get the cushions out. Some descriptions say storage. If there is storage I have yet to find it. Now on the underside of the ottoman there is a small, zippered area, where the feet for the ottoman were, I suppose you could hide something small there.

Return it, not so easy when they deduct return shipping and, in some cases, a restocking fee, you could lose the entire amount you paid or only get a few hundred back. I will sell it or try to. Worst of all I bought the insurance they advertise with the purchase. However, the insurance doesn’t cover stupidity. I was stupid, I trusted, and that was my biggest mistake.

Wayfair CA Leisure 6 ft. W x 4 ft. D Metal Storage Shed

We bought a storage shed and most of the parts were defective and few pieces were missing.

We contacted their resolution team a month ago and they promised they are going to order the replacement parts and will ship to our home asap.

They provided us false tracking number and the item never received to us. We assembled 3/4 of the unit and its been more than a month now and now wayfair today on oct 25,2023 wrote a email that replacement parts cannot be shipped and we can send item for full refund.

They harasser us and kept giving false statements and who will be responsible to disassemble the whole unit and send them back.

Desired outcome: we want them to send some person to do the disassemble the unit and refund our money in full

Wayfair CA 36'' Single Bathroom Vanity with Ceramic Vanity Top

I ordered the item above on June 08,2023.

I waited for this order to renovate my bathroom. The item should have arrived on July 03 and I talked to a contractor to install it.When I contacted Wayfair about this item, the customer service very carelessly said your item was out of stock when you ordered.Cancel it!

This company do not value their customers. No any tracking the shipment, no updates about the order and just briefly sorry about technical issue we had.Can I trust this online seller more?

Desired outcome: I need exact the same item selected otherwise this company should be responsible to provide it withe same price I purchased.

Wayfair CA The Importance of Customer Service in Online Retail: My Experience with Wayfair.ca

I gotta tell ya, I bought me some counter barstools from Wayfair.ca over a year ago, and boy was I excited to get them in my kitchen. But, wouldn't you know it, one of them chairs became damaged and the hydraulic system was all messed up. I tried to get in touch with Wayfair's customer service team, but they wouldn't give me the time of day. I was left with a busted chair and no help from them Wayfair folks.

Now, I've been a loyal customer of Wayfair for a while now, and I expected better from them. I mean, come on, when you spend your hard-earned money on something, you expect the company to have your back if something goes wrong. But nope, Wayfair's customer service team left me high and dry.

So, I did what any self-respecting customer would do, I contacted the vendor directly and asked for their help. And you know what? They were more than happy to assist me and resolve the issue. It just goes to show you that sometimes you gotta go straight to the source to get things done.

This whole experience has really made me realize how important customer service is in the world of online retail. Companies like Wayfair need to step up their game and prioritize customer service if they want to keep their customers happy and loyal. Especially when it comes to big purchases like furniture, you want to know that you can count on the company to have your back if something goes wrong.

In the end, I'm just glad that I was able to get my issue resolved, even if it wasn't through Wayfair's customer service team. It just goes to show you that sometimes you gotta take matters into your own hands to get things done. But, let's hope that Wayfair takes a lesson from this and invests in better customer service and support systems in the future.

Wayfair CA Disappointing Experience with Wayfair: Delayed Delivery, Poor Communication and Lost Order

So I ordered this real smooth couch from wayfair.ca in mid June, and they said it would show up in the second week of July. Man, I was excited for this couch because it was slick and stylish. So I forked over some extra cash for the in-home setup and garbage disposal. But then, I waited and waited and waited - nada. By the end of the week I thought it might finally be here, but still no word. So, I called them up to get a straight answer about what was going on. But I didn't get one. Not only was no one telling me when the couch was going to be delivered, they weren't even picking up the phone half the time. It was like talking to a brick wall.

Three weeks went by like that - three weeks of calling them and getting nowhere. Finally, in the first week of August someone from Wayfair left me a voicemail saying that the couch was "in the warehouse ready to be picked up". Say what? That's not what I was paying for. And then they had the nerve to send me an email asking me how the delivery went. It was like rubbing salt in the wound. So, I called them up again to tell them I still didn't have the couch. They were stunned and started insisting that it had already been delivered. I couldn't believe it. I had given up on the couch ever showing up.

When they finally told me that it had been logged as "lost" in their system, I was beyond disappointed. I was over it. I talked to the case manager and got offered a measly 50 dollars. They acted like that was supposed to make up for the fact that no one had contacted me even once this whole time. Finally, I gave up on Wayfair. I cancelled the order and ordered from somewhere that actually cared about their customers.

So, if you ask me, skip Wayfair and go to a company that actually gives a damn. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle or the heartache.

Wayfair CA Disappointing experience with Wayfair: cancelled order, out of stock item and unhelpful customer support

My experience with Wayfair was not great. I made an order and was excited to receive my items, but unfortunately, my order was cancelled without me knowing. I didn't receive any cancellation email either. When I called to sort out the cancellation error, I found out that one of the items was out of stock. This item wasn't marked as out of stock on the website at the time I made the order. To make matters worse, the replacement item was more expensive and not as good as the item I originally chose.

I was promised the replacement item would be offered at the same price as the original one, but this wasn't clear on the email receipt I got. I called customer support to sort this issue out and they told me there was nothing they could do to reduce the price. This was really frustrating as it felt like no effort was made to rectify the situation the staff had made.

I was disappointed and won't be shopping at Wayfair again. I want to tell everyone I know to avoid shopping there too. It was an upsetting, stressful and disappointing experience.

Wayfair CA Beware of False Advertising: Excessive Shipping Fees and Delayed Shipment from [Company Name]

This here company has been advertising all over their website and boasting that their shipping is free if you order items over $75.00. Sounds like a good deal, right? But let me tell you something, they sneakily put in their fine print that some areas may be charged an excessive amount for shipping. And guess what? I live in a pretty remote area, the Southern Gulf Islands. Despite the fact that I live in an area that is not even that remote compared to some areas, they charged me an exorbitant amount of $31.99 just to deliver the items. Meanwhile, they are willing to ship for free to Vancouver Island, which needs to take a more expensive and longer ferry ride compared to the island I reside on. Don't believe the hype on their website, folks.

Now, imagine my surprise when I placed my order on their website that I will receive it on May 18,2018, only to find out that they have delayed the shipment. As of today, May 25th, their website states that my items may eventually arrive by May 31st. Who knows if that's even accurate at this point? To add insult to injury, not only did they charge me a ridiculous shipping fee, but they are also saying that I need to pay an additional $22.99 just to return the items, if and when they arrive. They advertised no hassle returns, yet they are making it even harder for me to do so.

I am telling you now, folks, save yourself the stress and avoid this company altogether. There are other companies out there that are more reliable and live up to their promises. Sadly, I paid $54.98 for nothing but a headache.

Wayfair CA Terrible Experience with Wayfair Canada - Delayed Delivery, Damaged Items, and No Refund in Four Months

I made an order on May 1st from Wayfair CA, thinking that I would receive my items on May 22nd. However, to my dismay, I didn't receive my delivery until June 2nd. As if that wasn't bad enough, my order came in damaged! I was very upset and contacted Wayfair right away. They assured me that replacement parts would be shipped immediately, and I would receive my replacement item within 1-2 weeks. I was told that by June 15th, I would have my replacement item in my hands, but unfortunately, it took much longer than that. I had to wait until July 7th to get my hands on the replacement parts.

To add insult to injury, when I received the replacement parts, they were also damaged! I was so frustrated that I contacted Wayfair again to return the items. After much back and forth, they requested that I donate/dispose of the items, promising a FULL refund on the damaged goods and a "store credit" for my inconvenience and troubles. I decided to dispose of the items, as I didn't think it was right to donate damaged goods.

It's now September 9th, and I still haven't received my refund from Wayfair. Every time I inquire about my refund, Wayfair always says my "refund is in the mail." It has been four months since this ordeal started, and I am yet to receive my refund. At this rate, even a courier pigeon would have been faster!

I've learned a costly lesson from this. I must say that I am very disappointed in Wayfair. This whole experience has been terrible and frustrating. They are such a terrible company to deal with, and I would advise anyone to be careful when buying from them. I hope this review helps someone out there, and you will have a smooth and pleasant shopping experience elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE!

Wayfair CA Mixed Experience with WayFair CA: Top-Notch Customer Service, But Unfair 'Rural' Shipping Categorization

I've been a faithful customer of WayFair CA for the past year as I've been decorating my new home. I've spent a fortune on their website, and I must say that I've never encountered an issue with delivery or received damaged items. However, a couple of items weren't as I expected them to be described, but I had them returned without any hassle. Their customer service is top-notch, and they are prompt in resolving queries that arise.

Having said that, I've experienced a change in how WayFair categorizes 'rural' shipping, which I find quite unfair. I live just twenty minutes away from the city, and the delivery drivers have to pass through my town to reach the city. However, I am categorized as rural and am now required to pay a $25 shipping charge per item. This new policy has been a significant setback for me. Even a small spatula or large barstool now costs an extra $25, which is quite steep. To top it off, a shuffleboard table that was supposed to have free shipping last week now has an additional $500 shipping cost.

I gave it some thought, and the increased shipping cost has made it impractical for me to shop on their website. If you don't fall within their 'rural' shipping category and can navigate around the confusing price tags, WayFair might be right for you. But alas, this is the end of this pleasant shopping experience for me.

Wayfair CA Disappointed with Wayfair's quality: A review of our recent purchases

We recently made two purchases from wayfair.ca, and unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best. The first item we bought was a cute coffee table, which looked absolutely stunning in all the pictures. However, when we were putting it together, my husband noticed a crack on the side of the base. It wasn't supposed to be part of the design, it was actually a crack in the wood. We immediately contacted customer service, and they apologized for the inconvenience caused. They promised to send us another one, which they did. But unfortunately, when we assembled it, we found another crack all along the base and the side of the top piece. Frustrated yet hopeful, we lodged a complaint, and they gave us a 10% discount on our next purchase.

We still didn't give up on Wayfair and decided to give them another chance. This time we ordered a box spring. The pictures looked promising, and we were expecting good quality. But when we took it out of the box, we were truly disappointed. It was probably the lowest quality wood we have ever seen being used in furniture. It started to crack from some places when we put in the screws while assembling it.

We understand that Wayfair advertises quality furniture and their presentation of products is impeccable, but when it comes down to the customer's actual experience, it's a terrible one. We had high expectations from Wayfair, but sadly, we were let down. Despite that, we appreciate the efforts of their customer service team, who tried their best to make it right for us.

Wayfair CA Disappointed with Wayfair.ca's Customer Service and Delivery Times: A Review

So, back in March 2018, I decided to order some stuff from Wayfair.ca. Now, fast forward to May 17th, and I still haven't received my order. Yeah, you read that right. It's been that long. I got really worried and decided to contact their customer service to inquire about the delay. After some time, they got back to me and said that the delay I was experiencing wasn't usual, and that a member of their "Case Management Team" would contact me soon.

But what happened next truly disappointed me. I never heard back from anyone in that department. I wrote to them again, but I still got no reply. This made me feel like they really didn't care about their customers once they've gotten their payment. This is definitely not okay in my book. I have to admit, I had frequented their website before this experience, but I was always put off by their high prices. But this time, I was really happy to have found what I was looking for, so I thought I would just go for it, even if the item was overpriced.

Now I regret that decision. I won't be buying anything from Wayfair again after this experience. I mean, sure, it might not be the same for everyone, but based on my experience, I can confidently advise others to steer clear of this company. I mean, the fact that they couldn't even bother to respond to my shipment issue is a major red flag. But hey, don't take my word for it, check it out yourself if you don't believe me. Just be prepared for a long wait, and for customer service that doesn't really care about you once they've gotten your money.

Wayfair CA Wayfair Review: Terrible Customer Service And Severe Delays Causes Major Frustration

Man, let me tell you, I'm so darn mad at Wayfair right now I could scream! I don't think I've ever been this frustrated with an online retailer before. I mean, seriously, there are way better options out there like Amazon and Walmart where if they mess up they at least own up to it and make it right. But with Wayfair? Forget about it. I placed an order for some lights way back on November 18th and I was supposed to get them by November 26th. Well, when December 3rd rolled around and I still hadn't gotten my darn lights, I started to get pretty annoyed. I checked my order status and it still said they were supposed to be here on the 26th. That's when I called customer service and let me tell you, the first person I talked to was super apologetic and offered either a refund or to re-send the lights. I told them that it was a Christmas gift so a refund wasn't going to cut it and to please just send another set. They confirmed my order and even sent me an email saying "We're sorry, but we're going to make this right." So far so good, or so I thought. The new estimated arrival date was December 10th which was fine by me as long as I had the lights in time for Christmas. But then, on December 7th, I got an email saying my order had been delayed...until May 6th! Can you believe it? May frickin' 6th! I called Wayfair customer service again and all they could offer me was a measly 10% off coupon for my next purchase. Are you kidding me? There is no way in hell I am giving Wayfair my business ever again. Thanks but no thanks, Wayfair. Keep your coupon.

Wayfair CA Buyer Beware: Check Prices Elsewhere before Purchasing from Wayfair

Yo, listen up folks! If you're thinking of buying something from Wayfair, you gotta be careful. Check the price of that thing elsewhere before you make your purchase. They like to tell you that you're getting some crazy discount, like 70% off or whatever, but that ain't always true. In fact, sometimes they're charging more than everyone else - and even more than the suggested retail price (MSRP).

Let me give you a tip. Add something to your shopping cart on their website - but don't buy it just yet. Keep an eye on how the price of that thing goes up and up and up! They know you want it, so they keep increasing the price to suck you in to buying it at a higher price. It's sneaky, right?

Now, to be fair, there are other online stores that treat you better. Check out TheMine.com, Build.com, and CanadianLightingExperts.com for some real coupons and quotes to save you some money. They want you to buy, so they'll give you incentives to do so.

Okay, okay, Wayfair isn't all bad. They do have decent service and their shipping rates are only a teensy bit higher than others. I've actually bought things from them in the past - I'm not gonna lie. But I only do it when I can't find what I'm looking for anywhere else. And I make sure to complete the checkout process right away, before they can jack up the price.

So there you have it, folks. Just be a savvy shopper when it comes to Wayfair. Ain't nobody got time for high prices and sneaky tactics.

Wayfair CA Wayfair CA Belleze Chair Review: Missing Legs & Poor Customer Service

So, I gotta share my experience with Wayfair CA and this Belleze chair I ordered in January 2021. When it arrived, it was missing the legs! I called up customer service and every single person I talked to asked me if the legs were in some little pouch on the bottom of the chair like a secret treasure hunt or something! Of course they weren't there!

So, long story short (and I mean long because this has been a whole ordeal), they told me they'd send the legs separately. Weeks went by and no legs. Then they blamed Belleze tracking, but when I called Belleze they said they've got over 150 sets of legs, but they only sell to Wayfair - not directly to consumers like me. And get this, I even asked if I could buy some legs if my dog chewed one up in a couple years (gotta plan for the worst, ya know?) and they said NOPE!

So, after my repeated phone calls with Wayfair, they finally offered me a credit and told me to just toss the chair that can't even sit on its own. I mean, come on, companies are supposed to be getting more environmentally friendly, but not these guys apparently. All while claiming they care about the environment, they tell me to throw away a mostly good chair and they've got all these extra legs just sitting in a warehouse.

I wrote up a review on Wayfair's site, but they didn't even post it! So, I'm taking to the internet to educate other buyers on the impact of Wayfair's lack of quality control and process. And here's another kicker for you - they didn't even offer to replace the whole chair. Their website shows it as out of stock, but when I called Belleze's toll-free number, they said it was never really out of stock!

So, there you have it. My biggest issue is just the lack of accountability and transparency. It's like they don't even care about the customer experience at all.

Wayfair CA Wayfair: Delayed, Wrong Items, and Poor Customer Service. Think Twice Before Ordering

So, I decided to give Wayfair a shot and ordered myself a recliner chair and a high-back sofa. I was pretty pleased when I got the confirmation of my order along with a tracking number. However, things started taking a turn for the worse when I got an email telling me that my products had been delayed, which was a bit of a bummer. To make things worse, I got a second email telling me that the delay was because of popularity. I mean, seriously?

Anyway, after what felt like an eternity, I finally got my recliner and sofa. So, that's good news, right? Well, not exactly. I had ordered a cloth recliner because I have cats, but what did I end up with? A leather chair. To make matters even worse, the chair had two round legs and two square legs. I'm sorry, what?

But that wasn't even the worst of it. When the delivery people unwrapped my sofa...let's just say, I was in for a bit of a shock. The color, the style, the size - everything was wrong. And you want to know the best part? They couldn't even take it back because they had no return paperwork.

After a bit of back and forth, I finally got ahold of someone in customer service at Wayfair. They were apologizing up and down and offered me an additional $350 for my inconvenience. Okay, that's not bad, I thought. So, I decided to re-order a sofa. Yeah, I know. What was I thinking?

The first customer service rep I talked to couldn't apply the $350 because they had already refunded me the full amount for the chair. But that's not all, folks. The $350 for my inconvenience was taken out of the full refund price for the chair that I gave to an old folks home. Nice, right?

And now, as I wait for my second order, what happens? You guessed it - it's delayed. Again. Twice. At this point, I don't even know what to say. All I can say is, if you're thinking about ordering from Wayfair, think long and hard. And maybe think a little longer after that, too.
