Fairfield Inn and Suites review: no blackout curtains

We were given a Room on the 3rd floor facing the parking lot I tried to pull the curtains. That is when I noticed that there and no way to stop the light from the parking lot from coming into the room. I contacted the front desk to ask if there was any possible way to block out the light. I was told no and was never offered another Room away from the parking lot.
