Express Scriptsmis treatment

The first thing I would like to say is that Espress Scripts is the worst place to work. I have been mis-treated the whole time I have been working there. The office I work for is in Harrisburg PA. This is 1 of the last Union shops for Express scripts. Mangement doesn't know how to tell the truth. They have a computer system called Peoplesoft.What the People soft system does is log you in in the morning and in and out for lunch and then when you punch at the end of your shift. You also can check what your pay check. Your pay check shows up the Wednesday of the week your geting paid. Your PTO is put on your pay stub. you check this system before you request a half day or a full day off. Then you go into the system called Enpower and request your day off.Well Express scripts changes your PTO time around to make it so you can't get a day off. I checked my PTO time and it had stated that I have 18 hours of PTO time available so I took my half day. When I got my paycheck I wasn't paid for 3 hours becuase I was told I had no PTO time available and they gave me a half of point towards my record. I argued my case and was told the PeopleSoft system is never wrong so there's nothing they will do for me. The next pay period I need a half day for family business and I checked Peoplesoft and it showed I had 9 hours available and I asked my Team lead to look at the peoplesoft account as well, and she showed the same thing. I got the half day and sure enough, the following pay check I wasn't paid for 4 hours because I was told I didn't have enough time saved and received another half pont on my file. When I asked my team lead to tell mangement what she saw 2 day before in Peoplesoft, she denied ever looking at it. When the Union negociated are contract with Express Scripts, Express Scripts treated the team horribly.They threatened to close the office and they stated that even though they are in no trouble Financially they still didn't want to give most of the emploees a raise for 2 years. They accused the union of stealing money when it came to paying for health care so we had to take the same health care with Anthem Blue Cross which carries a 2000.00 deductable and are monthly premiums are extremly expensive. for a family of 3 your your having to pay about 100.00+ taken out of your check monthly. That might not seem like much but when you make 10 to 12.00 an hour it is a lot. We were lied to about what it will cost to get a script at a local pharmacy. When we were all called in to ratify the contract, the Unuion informed us that this is the best they could do because Experess Scripts threatened to close the off if we didn't vote yes to the contract. The Union can't really do anything as Express Scripts will stand by the mengement team 100% even though there 100% guilty. Express scripts laid off about 10 or 15 pe0ple about 18 months ago at the Harrisburg office. 1 person they laid off was a Russian girl named Natasha. She was an extremly atractive girl with a very nice body. She dressed very provocatively every day. They hired her back stating she was going to be incharge of training all new employees. Even though she was very atractive, she wasn't very inteligent and English was her second language. She tried to give a few training classes that I was in and everything she tought was proven incorrect. she would always be hanging out with mangement and they would have there arms around her and flirt with her. She recently quit. So in closing, if your ever looking for a job and times are tough, let them get tougher as working for Express scripts will be the biggest mistake of your life.

    Haha I still work there but there's so much freaking favortism its rediculous there's this one girl that don't do ### plays games on computer web surfs and plays on her phone all dayd and is never in dress code while others like myself bust their ### daily to keep their job just to have it threatened all the time! they nit pick all u do depending who u are its rediculous. I want another job but its not exactly easy to do these days so I gotta deal with bull ### day in and day out and feel babysat and demeaned on a regular basis!

    Why is the miltary using Express Script what poor communication between Doctor's, and Patients. I have had so many problems trying to get my prescription filled since Sept. we are in the middle of Nov. and still no prescription. The first attempt to located where my prescription was after 3 weeks of waiting, they said there was no record of my Dr. after my Dr. calling and confirming the second attemp still no information of my Dr. the third attemp to fill my prescription they tell me there is no DEA number...which all they have to do is look on my Dr. account to find this, fourth time after a number of phone calls and emails still no prescription has been enter in the system it's still waiting on a DEA number again...this is a load of Crap!! If it was Walgreens of CVS my Dr would have been contacted right away and the prescription would be ready for me to pick up. I live oversea's so I cannot just pick up my prescription. I cannot believe our government uses this company for their military and families!!

    I agree with you. As one of the other and largest Union locations we at Bensalem PA are treated like crap. our union keeps filing grievance against them, and most of the time 90 % the union wins. Do you think the company would learn. No they go back and do the same thing again, and you guessed it file another grievance. Now they are taking us to desisional Bargaining for the 2nd time in 2 years. stating they have to save money. they just had a 23$ increase in the 1st QTY of 2010 over the same period in 2009. and expect to make record profits for the year of 2010. ESi only cares about one thing. It's not the employees (who make them the money), it's not the patients (that use them), it's not the clients/ insurance com (who contract with them) It's the bottom line, the almighty dollar, and how much money they can but in the top brass pockets in the way of bonuses.

    I agree, I work for these monsters and all they can do is write you up for every so called company in fracture. I have never been written up in any position but this place takes the cake. I've been written up so many times and so has my colleagues that it’s almost a joke...We ask each other almost weekly what have you been written up for now? First you get beat up by the patients all day because they have not received their meds or they are over charged or they need a prior Auth. The patients curse, yell, and scream at us (PCA) and it's always our fault for all of their problems with this company. Since we are the front line making minimal wage we are told to take it and apologize, say what they want to hear and move on to the next call. If any ESI members (Patients) read this please do not disrespect us nor yell at us like trash we do not implement the rules, nor do we profit from your gain or loss. We are paid very low for this high stress job and to be honest most of us do want to help the patient but morale is low and our hands are tied. Yell at the people who make the real money, the ones that make bonuses on our backs.
    My next gripe is with management, management gives you no support what so ever from the bottom feeder supervisor to the top of the branch chain corporate monkeys. You do however get a monthly one on one on how to improve your calls and pushing the call out in less than 4 min. They are always on your back trying to coach you about only speaking to the patient for 3.5 minutes so you can be top performer. They would like you to take 100 calls a day... imagine that? Imagine 100 calls a day being screamed at by 90% of the people everyday 5 days a week...Only break you get is two 15 min..Actually by the time you get outside the office it’s about 11 min and your lunch otherwise those phones keep on ringing. Quality to Express Scripts is to say the right verbiage at the right time but not really helping the patient needs and concerns. I have addressed this issue many times because I do believe in customer service the answer is do what you can so your numbers can average out better for (AHT) which in turn they get there bonus. They reward people who can shovel out calls than rewarding those that do make a difference to a patient. I've learned that a few times already and I'm burnt out.
    As for Empower it should be called Enslaved...because every time you ask for your PTO it's denied or with me a few times it disappears. So this helps racks in the points if you need to take some time off because if it's not approved then you are enslaved to empower commands and if you don't come to work you are going to get a point. No matter what you do you can't win nor ever succeed in a place where the management is hostile to the employees.
