Esso Gasfraudulent charge

Fraudulent charge for gas
AVOID this station

We selected grade 87 (92 cents a litre), but when receipt came out we realized we were charged for the highest grade, 93 ($1.119 a litre). Who puts grade 93 in a Chevy Uplander??

We always selected grade 87 for our cars and this time could not be a mistake of "slippery finger" because grade 93 was two buttons away!

Total overcharge was over $12. The cashier made no apology and refused to refund.

You want them to just refund the difference WHY? Was it the cashiers fault you put in the wrong gas?

If you were paying attention then you would have noticed the wrong amount as soon as you started pumping. Since you did not notice then that means you were not paying attention. That leads me to believe that you were not paying attention 10 seconds prior when you hit the wrong button.
