I have a 2011 Nissan Altima and rec'd a Ford Escape transmission after sending another wrong transmission back to Engine & Transmission World. I spent $1455.00 for the first transmission. They had my VIN number & still sent me a manual when I needed an automatic the general manager asked if wanted to get a refund or an exchange. I told him that I really needed a transmission...either way he said I would have to send the wrong transmission back and pay for the shipping, which was $910.00. I paid both times with a bank transfer to Beneficiary: SWENGINES 182379245398US Bank, NA in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am out $2,365.00 & still do NOT have a transmission that will fit my car.(after receiving a Ford Escape transmission the second time. And I waited from June until Octobe. I need to get restitution so that I can purchase a transmission without getting screwed over by scammers! By the way my VIN# i gave both times is;1N4AL2AP9BN499931 How could they give me the wrong transmission when they had this?
Claimed loss: $2,365.00
Desired outcome: I want restitution for the money I have spent
