We made a contract with Saddle Ridge Apartments in 2015 and made a deposit. They later changed their name to "Elevation Apartments" and changed their managers several times. When my family tried to leave in 2020, they attempted to charge us for the cleaning and electric bills. We didn't agree with the cleaning charge as we left the house very clean and even had the current manager's approval. They ignored this and said we had to pay anyway. We told them to just take the money from our deposit but they then claimed to have never received it. The deposit was worth more than the bill. Now, they contacted Collections U.S. Inc to forcibly take the "deposit money" from us. This destroyed our credit, my family needs help. Thank you.
