Dear customer service,
Hello my name is James and I am very pleased to with Ecco golf shoes bc they are sassy and unimaginably comfortable while I play golf. I have bought 3 pairs (2 in USA and 1 in South Korea) so far within 5 years and it lasted for awhile. But last pair I purchased in Korea it seems like it was a defective and I have contacted Korean Ecco customer service and they have told me that cannot be repair/exchanged. I have our purchased (end of March 2020) on well know online shop (SSG.com). I have honestly wore 3-4 times and the front left was cracking and I feel like this pair was a defective one. I've never had any complaints about Ecco shoes so far but I feel very angry about how the customer service in Korea was unwilling to do anything about it. With this kind of service, I have no option but start to look for another brand shoes.

Blown out soles
I have been a Ecco customer for several years and never had a problem until now. While wearing this pair of Eccos, I noticed little black pieces of rubber on the floor. Upon examination of my shoes, I found the soles were disintegrating. Attached are pictures of the shoes.
I got scam by an Ecco outlet store online
Both some shoes online and found out it was a scam. They do not respond to my emails or anything. I got a link from Facebook and went on the site. I figure it was cheap because it was an outlet store. I ordered 6 shoes total amount being $121. The bank statement show $136. I can't contact them via email or anything. I will be filing with BBB about this issue.

Product defect

To whom it may concern
Over the years I have purchased many ecco products - both shoes and boots . I never had a problem with them. Actually I was full of praise for them .
However in 2014 I bought a pair of Darren boots which cost € 180 and had grey soles. I wore them for special occasions only so they never got worn down. The soles are still in good condition, as you will from the attached photos. But within the last year, they have developed a strange smell. It appears that the soles are deteriorating, but not from wear or damage . The centre of the heels is collasping . Crucially, there is a particularly foul odour emanating from the soles. Please see attached photos.
Even after cleaning, this chemical strong odour continues to eminate from both soles.
I am so devastated by this . The smell is so strong that even people near me can smell them. This is hugely embarrassing.
I am left with a lovely looking pair of boots that cannot be worn. I have never experienced this with any other foot wear. And I am most surprised to experience this with an Ecco product, especially having worn Ecco for so many years.
I have no option but to dispose of them, which is an utter waste of money and thoroughly disappointing. Unless you can advise me further? I would very much appreciate your input in this matter.

Disintegrating ecco soles
Soles of both Ecco shoes disintegrated during the same wearing, leaving a trail of black rubberized material everywhere I stepped.
Although past the official Ecco warranty period, I contacted Ecco Canada 3 times to see if they could/would do anything, particularly as the photos supplied to them otherwise demonstrated that they had been minimally worn.
Ecco didn't have the courtesy of replying.

Hi, I have now had 3 pair of ecco shoes (2 pair of sandals) and one slip on shoe.
I continue to have 5 or 6 pair of ECCO's in my closet and use frequently. I have now had 3 pair that have the soles break down and break apart. I have almost fallen because so much of the heel part on left usually just falls apart gradually as I am walking. Your shoes are of such high quality I continue to be disappointed and dismayed that I can do longer wear the shoes. I now am seeking advice on #3 failure which is a black primo sandal #[protected]. Do you have a time period of wearablity or sturdyness of your shoes? I am greatly disturbed and almost afraid to wear those I still have. I do not want to fall or trip because of failure of the soles.

They are garbage I spent 129.95 for them the soles split and fell apart for no reason, they have the gore tex soles, dillards refused to take them back were I bought them spending that kind of money for them to wear a few time is awful like being robbed with junk model number is 1483447p319598

On June 18th, ordered a pair of shoes from this store. Paid for it with PayPal. I never received a receipt from the vendor acknowledging my order. I was suspicious about that so I investigated and found many complaints saying the website was a fraud. There does not seem to be a way to contact the vendor on the website. The contact tab does not have any contact information.
A refund of my money would be fine for resolution.

Leather loafers problem
Hi - Several years ago, I bought a pair of leather loafers and wore them several times. I have seven pairs of Ecco shoes and all have been great. However, when I pulled the loafers out to wear around the house, to my astonishment the soles had become soft and sticky and were disintegrating. I have read several reviews which commented on these particular types of soles (which differ from all other Ecco shoes that I own).
Apparently, this particular sole has frequently had problems. While I am sure that I am "out of warranty", these shoes are otherwise like new and I am wondering if you have some arrangements to "resole" these shoes so that I could ware them again? Soles of shoes falling apart
I have worn Ecco shoes for years and find that they are very comfortable, But now I have two pairs of Ecco shoes on which the soles have disintegrated. On the first pair (the black ones), as I was walking I was shedding pieces of sole ( black stuff) all over. They literally fell apart as I was walking which is rather embarrassing. Regarding the second pair ( the brown ones), I was leaving small black specs all over the house and then I noticed that the soles were splitting . These are older shoes so I do not have the invoices from the purchases, but I would be happy to send the shoes back to you. I'd appreciate any consideration you would give to me regarding this issue. Please advise how this will be handled.

Hi, I bought these boots on Nov 26, 2018, Cyber Monday on the Internet from Ecco DK.
The top leather is coming away from the sole.
I am very disappointed with this as I have only used these boots for maybe 9 months max, I did not not wear them throughout the summer months, I use them only for walking the dog around 5klms. They are extremely comfortable but I think I should expect them to last a little longer. They have been well taken care of.

I have ordered 2 pairs of Ecco shoes at the website www. Eccooutlets.com at November 25 and had been charged twice on 76 USD! I wrote them, but they told me that they had only one payment from me and did not refund me! On January 8 I got my parcel which contained not the shoes I have ordered and paid for, but a scarve! I tried to contact the customer service at the website, but there is still no answer and they have also deactivated my account!

noyce snow boots
I did read the good reviews on those boots before buying them on Amazon.ca but I am really disappointed here. Winter has just started and these boots which are supposed to be insulated and for snow DO NOT keep my feet warm. My feet get cold after only 15 minutes outside, worse if I walk in snow, the boots become so cold it is umbearable. Maybe I got a defectuous pair ? I hope this review will help Ecco to make really warm boots because this is not the case

sole disintegration
The soles of my Ecco boots have literally crumbled apart leaving large chunks of sole on the carpet and large holes in the boots
This I can see is not an uncommon issue with Ecco
I have co ta ted customer services who are not interested as I do not have my original receipt
Dreadful service and I am astounded that the company do not want to find out why the quality of their product falls well below an acceptable standard
