I rented a small Nissan Altima in Oct 2025 thru Feb 2026. I picked up the vehicle in the city of Franklin TN. I returned the vehicle to the same locating after use. I fueled the vehicle upon return, and I received the final invoice from Dollar indicating my bill was paid in full. On June 8, 2026, (4 months later) I received a bill that indicated I owed $1,905.44 for an (Airport Facility fee, a state tax or road fee, and insurance fee). After making contact with two of the customer service staff, neither could explain the fees associated with the invoice. I informed them I would have my Attorney review the document. At that point, they no longer wanted to discuss the matter with me and immediately hung up the phone. People be aware, this appear to be an up-charge scam.
