Dolan Toyota

Dolan Toyota went above and beyond to help me after I had gone through 2 Hyundais in less than 2 years due to miscellaneous issues with them. My mother had her Toyota for 17yrs + and just upgraded to another so I decided to switch to the reliable brand. They were honest from the get go telling me it might not be worth it since I was a*** over teakettle on loans at this point. But I decided it was worth the peace of mind and now I'm in a vehicle I not only LOVE but TRUST. Will recommend them to anyone looking for a car shopping experience with no pressure and where you're treated like a human not just a checkbook or rating.

I went to Dolan Toyota in Reno, Nevada to fix my car 'cause the check engine light was on. They said they had to do a bunch of stuff to fix it, but turns out all it needed was a new gas cap. They charged me more than $400 for the work.

I took my car to Dolan in *** to have a diagnostics done on it before getting any problems fixed on it. When they called me back to inform me of the issue, they stated it was a blown head gasket and that it would be $2000 to fix the car. Two weeks later, they called back to tell me that when they go into the head gasket, the head was also needing to be replaced and that they couldn't of known this till getting inside so do we still want them to fix it? I said yes, so they ordered that part. A month and a half later, they called and said my car was ready and I could go pick it up. I paid for the work and went to my car, when I started the car it started very rough so I waited a few minutes and noticed the millage was blinking and the stereo and screen for all of those controls would not turn on (all of this was working well when I dropped off the car). I went back in to ask why... If I would of known it was going to be this, I would of never agreed to the repairs.

6/30-6/31 - I had a problem with my truck, and I thought Dolan Toyota could help me out since they're supposed to be experts in their stuff. I told them on the phone and in person that I heard and felt a rubbing sound that got worse as the wheels went faster. I did some research and thought it might be a bad wheel bearing. Even a mobile mechanic agreed with me and said I should take it to a dealership. I told all of this to the people at Dolan. But guess what? They never checked my wheel bearing. They convinced me to pay $900 for a full service inspection, promising they would check the wheel bearings, but that was a big fat lie. When I got my car back, they gave me a report saying they never checked the wheel bearing and tried to blame the problem on something I added after buying the car.
