Everytime I visit McKinnon Nissan I am quickly greeted and helped. Every member of the staff I have dealt with has always been very polite and nice.

I bought a car on March 21st and they told me I could only buy a new one because I had negative equity on my trade-in. But I really wanted a used car, so my mom said she would buy it for me. They froze her credit report because they had some of her information and some of mine in the system at the same time. So a company gave us a loan at a really high interest rate. They said we could refinance it when we got home. But when we tried to do that, they didn't change the information in the computer. So now we can't get refinanced because the underwriter sees my income on my mom's application and she wasn't approved for that amount. We need them to fix this so she can refinance. Did they do this on purpose to rush her application and make a quick sale? How can an application and loan be valid if it has someone else's information on it? I didn't even get to test drive the car or learn how to use it because the whole process was rushed. But in the end, we left with a brand new car.

I got 4 warranty issues with Mckinnion that they ain't fixin'. They don't answer the phone or correspondence. I reached out to Toyota Customer Care 4 times 'cause I bought a Toyota SR 5 from McKinnon last year and it's still under warranty. Toyota Customer Care says Mckinnon ain't respondin' to their questions. I sent 'em a letter on November 3rd, but no response. I've been tryin' to call 'em, but they won't pick up. When I took my truck in for service, I told 'em 'bout my problems, but they just gave me the runaround. Here's what's wrong with my vehicle: When I turn on my bright headlights, my info screen goes dark. The "mileage to empty" screen is all messed up and ain't accurate. My digital MPH screen needs to be reset. When I start my vehicle, the engine idle revs up to about 700 RPM, which is way too fast and ain't safe. I've told 'em 'bout this before, but they say it's a factory setting. I asked 'em to escalate it to Toyota Corp for a fix 'cause it's a safety issue, but they didn't do it. This dealership really sucks at communicatin'.

Lifetime oil change promotion, car wash with service of vehicle, all of this is fraudulent offers made by this dealership. My husband and I bought a new vehicle in 2018 from this dealership. Our salesman told us that the dealership offered the lifetime oil change with our purchase, along with tire rotation/balance and a car wash. This offer wasn't honored at the dealership and they're lying to us about the offer. When I took my car for the first oil change, there was a note on the door saying car washes wouldn't be offered with service anymore. Also, I've been charged for my last 2 oil changes and rotate and balance, which another Nissan dealer said they charged for, but there's no documentation that it was even done. This makes me really mad because Benton Nissan had the same offer when I bought my car, and the salesman said it was a Nissan offer, not just that dealership. He also said he used to work at Benton. I've made many phone calls, but nothing has been resolved. All we want is for this dealership to do exactly what they promised when we bought the car. I wish I had gone to my first dealership instead of my local one because of the lies and deceit. I told my family and friends about the offer, and now I feel embarrassed because it turned out to be a lie.
