Diamond Tours review: Very disappointed with bus accommodation and itinerary

I traveled w/ a group of seniors on a group tour from Phila, PA to NOLA. The bus was extremely uncomfortable, false advertising concerning type of bus used for transportation. Bus was tight, no leg room or cup holders. Hours long ride, although driver did stop the required 2 1/2 hours for a quick break, most folks had swelling in feet and ankles. We were informed to try and not use the rest room on the bus due to the small septic tank- and on the way back, we couldn’t use it all. I also had to inform driver that more hand sanitizer and toilet paper and Lysol wipes needed in the bathroom. We were not informed by our group leader that the hotel we stayed in Nola was an extended stay hotel- no amenities/ soap- shampoo etc, or cleaning of rooms for the 3 day stay. Had to wait a full day to get clean wash cloths and towels. The prepaid dinners were @ awful restaurants w/ limited menu’s which mainly just consisted of fried catfish, small shrimp and fries. Although I did enjoy the NOLA tours, tours were not geared towards the true authentic New Orleans experience. The itinerary was primarily an American history & shopping tour. I would never take another group bus tour with this company. They lack compassion for seniors and lack of knowledge for gearing tours for specific audiences. Lastly we had an excellent driver with good driving skills, but he was given bad directions from the tour company to some of our destinations.
