Devry Universityovercharge, rip off

They don't care about you getting an education all they care about is getting paid. Beware of how the loans are paid out, how much you can get, how much your classes cost per credit hour, online or campus.. they had me as a campus student but I was online.. I was going half time which cost more.. I've been going for 3 years and have gotten no where and I'm already out of money, I will have to back out of my BS degree and go for an associates b/c I only have enough money to complete an associates - also a degree I do not even want.. I'm stressed and unhappy.. I emailed the so called advisors and they always ignored my emails.. until I threatened the dean to file a complaint to BBB.org they now answer my emails and pretend to care, but still show no empathy! I regret coming to this school, because I am going to have to finish with an associates but owe back 57, 000.oo - beware.. go to other schools and talk to the advisors.. if they're not showing you any empathy or act as if they care about you actually getting a degree.. RUN! And be very aware of how the loans work. Do not come to Devry

I to have fallen victim to Devry. I was an online student as well reg as a campus student- I got down to 4 classes to finish my Bach degree and was told that I was out of Financial Aid- I asked if I could get the Perkins to cover me to complete the classes and I was told no - this confused me because the 3 years that I attended I received the Perkins loan and now when I need it I can't get it. I check my student loan history only to find out that Devry had used 77, 000 of FA when students are only allowed 57, 500, how could this have happen. It has been 2 years since this happen and I'm still waiting on response from Devry. Beware of this school they will use your money and don't care if you graduate or not.
