The door lock is all messed up and it's stuck shut
The door lock is all messed up and it's stuck shut. Can't even open it, which is a big problem 'cause it's our way in and out to the backyard and pool. I called the door brand, *** on September 18th, but they ain't got no service appointments 'til November 11th. Supposedly, the door and windows got a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer, ***. I bought 'em in April and they got installed in July . I put in a service call to get faster help, but ain't nobody called me yet. I really need this door fixed pronto.

I spent ovr $8000.00 on windows for my cabin. Two windows hav had problems with them leaking from the start, and anothr with a cracked frame that was changed out 3 times. I hav called 4 times now responded to *** email and sent pictures as per his request with no response. I live in Big Bear and we are having weather so once again I came home and my new drywall that hasn't even had the chance to get painted yet is turning brown around the same window and dripping water from the top of the window. I called again and asked for someone else to call me back after I explained the problem and what I hav gone through already with no response. I was so happy with my windows they even asked me to write reviews and said they would send me gift cards for writing them! Now I wish I never did! I got $15. What do I do?

I signed contract on 4/21 for 3 windows and 2 sliders. The representative *** explained that the lead time is 6-8 weeks. Contract has approximate start date of work to be performed of 6/21 with completion date of 6/24. We had a change order on 5/7 to remove one window, add grids to 2 of the windows, and block frames on slider doors. With the change order made I understand it resets the lead time 6-8 weeks from that date which puts us to 7/7. We did not hear from Design Windows & Doors, Inc. until 7/19 at 3:57pm by email to review and complete documents of window specifications to order the windows with manufacturer. I am not willing to wait another 6-8 weeks due their in house administrative delay. Design Windows & Doors, Inc. is not meeting the contract timeline, therefore I need a full refund of $4,683.50.
