Hired them to replace a double window with Impact glass. I was grateful that they were willing to accept such a small project, when most companies would not. From sales to install, my experience was professional top notch. The installers arrived early( much to our delight). The 2 man team was courteous, professional and respectful. we observed COVID cautions, as well as prepping the inside of the house to minimize dust exposure. These guys cleaned up as they went along. The install was perfect. Much to my unexpected joy, after the window ws installed, they re-stucco'd and painted the outside of the house around the window. Honestly, you can't tell that any work was done. I highly recommend this company.

I am extremely happy with their work. Their installers were very respectful, careful, professional and especially detail oriented. I was constantly impressed with the level of their attention to the quality of their work and surprised by the number of times that Rafael, the supervisor, would show up to inspect the work that was being done. Each worker specialized in certain tasks, There were carpenters, installers, painters, helpers and finish carpenters. I especially like the work of the last ones. My back room is nothing but windows on all three sides with a French door on one side. The room is so much brighter now. It is truly a work of beauty!... Did they take a bit longer than expected? Yes... Was it worth it? Definitely!... Would I recommend FB Doors? Without a doubt

Sin duda la seguridad se siente y ese ha sido nuestro principal propósito, desde un 5to piso los vientos son muy distintos...No duro en referir sus servicios...

Happy with my new windows!

I recently had storm windows installed in my condo. These windows are replacing old tattered windows from the 50s that I haven't been able to open in years! I am happy to report that the team skillfully and quickly replaced the windows ( 6 large ones, plus a small one in the 1/2 bathroom, and the kitchen). I am so happy my home can receive proper ventilation and is protected from the heavy South Florida rains (and hurricanes)! The team was was so helpful, and made sure to clean up well afterwards, which I truly appreciate. The workers, as well as the Field Supervisor, Mr. made it their mission to answer all of my questions and make me and family feel comfortable while completing the installation. The installation took only one day! The next day FB Doors sent someone to check everything, and add any necessary finishing touches and all that. I will definitely recommend their services to my friends and family in the future just as I am for you all!

Me encanto el trabajo , los trabajadores todos excelentes , todos y cada uno de ellos hicieron un trabajo súper profesional , Francisco y Miguel un finish excelente, los instaladores son como una familia , se apoyan unos a otros: les importa más la calidad del trabajo que la cantidad, están muy bien dispuestos a solucionar cualquier detalle , todo quedó bellísimo. FB doors

My family ordered a door on March 30th for our new home being built and was told it will be 4-5 weeks which puts the timeframe in during the whole month of April and we are very understanding of the global situations and hardship the whole world is going through so even though we had hoped it would happen during that time timeframe realistically. Even when they fell behind a little we were understanding just wanted a time frame and proper communication but no one called my dad. My dad had to call or email on a weekly basis to figure out when it'll come for 5 weeks after the first 5 weeks and they always had the same response they'll email him when it's ready. So finally after 10 weeks since the contract got a different response that the door will only arrive in their warehouse on June 17th. The next day my dad called and they said they'll email the installation and later on in the week called again and even said he'll add on another $200 to the installation because we are behind and the situation is more urgent. In the 25th my dad got a text that the installation is on July 11th which is about 15 weeks since the contract with no proper forthcoming communication or explanations. My dad called them on the 10th, the day before they said they're coming to find out the time they'll be coming and was told they'll let him know. July 11th 4pm still no contact from them so my dad emailed and mailed them that they have till July 16th 5pm to install the door or else the order is cancelled and we are due the full refund and losses and we will order from a different company. No contact and no communication till the late July 17th that they'll come on the 18th. But we already made other arrangements that morning considering we waited almost 15 weeks when we were told 4-5 weeks and then gave no communication or explanation and we then we told you we have to make other arrangements and our order is cancelled with a refund due if within those 5 days it wasn't installed and they had the audacity to call the day after the date we communicated as if it's a joke to them. And now says we owe them. Whaat? I'd say it's a *** thinking that we can't afford to pay for lawyers and pay for a door we never got per the verbal agreement. Obviously they don't care about providing decent customer service to all of their clients equally... according to other review they have great communication so why weren't we given the same respect? Discrimination! And a

I would strongly advise anyone considering using FB Doors for any project to do some digging and research their extensive list of litigation (which is easily found in public records for civil cases named under FB Doors or Four BLR Doors) to see how they seem to prefer suing their customers rather than providing true customer service. In my opinion and based on what I have seen this company do to my husband and to multiple others, FB Doors is a business with very *** practices.

First, they leave timelines out of their contracts to give themselves the freedom to take as long as they please, which in many cases will be far longer than is reasonable but they have no shortage of excuses as to why it's not their fault that they can't do what they are contracted to do in a timely manner. If you switch to a contractor that can actually do the work in a reasonable timeframe, they will likely sue you for breach of contract, like they did to my husband despite them being the first to break the contract by failing to order the materials on the date their own contract says they will (we can and will prove this in court). In their lawsuit, they are alleging that my husband owes them because they special ordered materials for our project and yet we have written proof from company employees themselves that those materials were never ordered. They filed a Lis Pendens against our home with no legal basis for doing so, but fortunately the law is clear and it was subsequently dissolved after our lawyer filed a motion on my husband's behalf. At this point, it is more about principle for us than it is money, and we are prepared to pay whatever legal fees are necessary to defend him against this frivolous lawsuit because ultimately, that is precisely what it is. We would much rather pay the lawyer who is at least earning his money than pay this company one penny for work they never did, materials they never ordered, and a contract they violated first.

The owner will likely come on here to "deny allegations" and leave more of their excuses because he seems to have plenty of time to respond to reviews online but not enough to make sure the contracted work is getting done or that customers are happy. I came on here to warn the general public in the same manner I have warned my neighbors and friends about our negative experience with this company because nobody should be subjected to the nonsense my husband and I have had to deal with since making the unfortunate decision to hire this company.

I highly suggest you do your research before signing a contract with FB Doors. Search public civil litigation records and reviews on Yelp or filter for negatives on Google (Google reviews are obviously hyperinflated. Notice how they get tons of them regularly and usually in batches). If you do decide to take a chance on them, I sincerely hope that your experience is a better one and that you will at least try to protect yourself by insisting on outlining a definite timeline on the contract so that everyone is on the same page, and they are held to some reasonable standard. Honestly one star is being way too generous with this company. Customers beware! FB Doors, its representatives and its owner are shady, unreliable and dishonest. They do not include timeframes for their work in their contract for services because they want to cover their behinds when they don't deliver on the verbal promises their salespeople make or reasonable customer expectations. If you choose to use this company, do yourself a favor and insist on getting written timelines for the scope of work like reliable contractors do without having to be asked or be prepared to be highly frustrated and disappointed. The customer service is horrendous. It is hard to get a hold of anyone who can actually give you information about the project status and then once you do after repeatedly hounding them until they give in and respond, the response is full of BS excuses and blatant lies. When called on those lies, they ignore it just like they do their responsibilities. They told me they could not submit the application for permit on my project because the city was not accepting applications. I called the city and confirmed this to be a lie, as the city had never stopped accepting applications but was requiring them to be sent online due to the pandemic. When I went back to FB Doors about this, my project manager called to say that while the city was accepting applications electronically, FB Doors would not be sending it anytime soon because both their offices and the manufacturers were closed indefinitely due to the pandemic situation. I advised him that I could not afford to waste more time on this project and needed some kind of indication of when they might begin working again. He supposedly called the owner and called me back to say that they have no idea when they can get moving again. When I told him I would be forced to switch contractors because of this since there are still contractors who are fully operational and I needed the project to move forward, the project manager seemed to understand. Neverthless after I actually switched contractors to one that was working, this company told me they just submitted the permit application, which was after they had been fired due to their inability or unwillingness to work. To add insult to injury, I called the city again and once again learned that they had lied about submitting anything. They were just trying to buy time even though they had just told me they could not do anything anyway. Now this contractor is threatening to sue me for breach of contract when it was his company that first breached the contract by notifying me that they were unable to do any work on my project and unable or unwilling to give me a reasonable timeframe as to when that might change. No money has been exchanged and the reasonable thing for this contractor to do would be to understand and accept that this situation forced me to switching contractors. Instead, he is bullying me with a lawyer and demanding that I either continue the contract with his company that has proven to be unreliable and dishonest (not the kind of company I want working on my property), pay several thousand dollars' worth of a cancellation fee or get sued. I offered to pay a more reasonable cancellation fee of $1,000 just to cover the little paperwork that was done and as an act of good faith to go our separate ways and leave this unfortunate incident behind us but this contractor is too much of a bully to accept a reasonable offer. He refused and now the only option left is to let this matter be resolved by a judge, which is a ridiculous waste of time and resources, but I would rather him sue me and me bring the facts before a judge to show how unreasonable this guy has been than to allow him to continue bullying me over something that his company started to begin with. Let me clarify that a bit further: this company is going to sue me for breach of contract on a project where no monies were exchanged and where the company flat out told me that they were on a standstill due to the pandemic and had no idea when my project would get started, let alone completed. This lawsuit will be despite my having offered to pay a cancellation fee of $1,000 even though it was their actions that forced me to have to fire them and hire a different contractor. You would think that a reasonable business person would know when to cut their losses and would be at least a slight bit concerned with making things right when they mess up. There were so many opportunities for this company to turn things in the right direction but instead of owning up and making an effort, they relied on excuses, lies and intimidation, effectively leaving me no choice but to fire them and hire a contractor who could actually get the job done. This is not their first rodeo by the way. Don't believe me? Do a quick search of public records for Four BLR Doors DBA FB Doors, Inc. and you will see how sue happy they are. Most of the lawsuits are them suing people who withheld final payment because FB Doors screwed something up and decided it was more valuable to sue the customer than fix whatever mistakes they made. I am sure that the owner will hop on here with more excuses and lies to try and skew my review in his favor because this man clearly refuses to take accountability for his mistakes. But at the end of the day, I think it's important to warn others about this company's shady business practices. If even one person can be spared the headaches I have had to deal with since making the mistake of choosing FB Doors for my project, then the effort it took to write this review will be worthwhile. If you are looking for a company to be reliable and honest, I highly suggest you keep looking!
