Please be advised I spent about 5 hours in the ER at Regional Medical Center in San Jose due to eating at Denny's. Today is the second day, and I am still dealing with stomach pain, diarrhea, and nausea. It's not fair to the customer again — whatever you used to put that Slam Burger together, or maybe the buffalo sauce or ranch sauce, I don't know. But I would be careful what you give your customers. Denny's location on Alma and 1st, San Jose, CA, visited on 8/14/2026, had a Slam Burger and onion rings at about 10 pm, and it messed up my stomach really bad, which I was not expecting, being that my mother, Connie Salazar Gonzalez, has worked for Denny's for over 20 years at that location and others. I called to see if, at the very least, they'd offer a refund or a free meal, but to no avail.
Respectfully,
Willie Menchaca

Desired outcome: At the very least, a refund or a free meal; otherwise, it's totally unfair that a customer should have to be put through all this pain/discomfort.
