Online shopping depends entirely on trust. We place orders, pay upfront, and expect the platform to protect us if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Daraz Pakistan showed me how a loyal customer can be left completely helpless.
1. The Order & The First Red Flag
On July 21, 2026, I ordered a Rechargeable Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker with Mic (Order #246631782196032) from seller Amazia for Rs. 1,895, paid via Daraz Wallet.
When the delivery rider handed me the parcel on July 23, it immediately felt shockingly light—barely weighing 200 grams. Interestingly, Daraz's own printed shipping label listed the weight as 0.77 KG.
2. Opening the Package: The Missing Product
Upon opening the outer packaging, my worst fears were confirmed:
The outer plastic flyer was sealed.
The inner product box had a 3-inch cut along the top corner.
The speaker was missing entirely. The box was 100% EMPTY.
3. The Rejection & Endless Excuses
I immediately filed a return request. A rider picked up the empty box, and a Daraz representative even called to express shock over the situation, assuring me that it would be handled.
To my utter disbelief, on July 25, Daraz rejected my claim, stating it didn't comply with policy. When I appealed, they demanded an unboxing video.
Why should a customer be penalized for not recording an unboxing video when the outer flyer arrived intact, while Daraz completely ignores the clear physical proof—a 0.77 KG label vs a 200-gram empty box?
4. Broken Promises & Stuck App Systems
To make matters worse:
I received the rejected empty box back on July 28.
Even after days had passed, the Daraz app status remained stuck on July 25, preventing me from filing a fresh claim.
During live chats, agents promised that the case was prioritized and pushed to senior management—yet nothing changed, and chats were automatically ended without resolution.
Final Verdict
Losing Rs. 1,895 may not break the bank, but losing hard-earned money to transit theft and bad customer care is unacceptable. Beware when shopping on Daraz—if your item goes missing before delivery, you might be left paying for an empty box.
Recommendation: Donot Order anything from Daraz because they donot support their Customer and always Fool customers and waste customer's time.
