I called this company for AC tuning because of their TV Commercial special. They use pushy sales tactics, and they threatened to charge a restocking fee even if you cancel or try to cancel a contract after signing. I was threatened with a $950.00 restocking fee after calling just 5 minutes after the Salesperson/Tech left my house and the techs hadn't loaded a truck with the equipment. They also charge twice as much as others for the same units/equipment. Avoid them at all costs.

So evryone knows that its hard to find a good and honest company. I recomend going with Cowboys AC. They came over that day and was very professional gave me options due to I am on a budget. Then they scheduled me the next day said it should take a couple of hours and they went above and beyond. A+ customer service A+ pricing A+ to *** and ***. Make sure when calling in to get a quote or any kind of AC service you ask for *** and ***. I even had to leave for a couple of hours and I honestly trusted them in the house while I was gone. Dont hesitate make the call today. No one likes a hot house. ?

This company takes advantage of people's fears and lack of knowledge about air conditioning systems. Their technician even went as far as telling me that there was a gas leak during my last and final service check with them. I've been a customer for 10 years. They convinced me to replace a 5-year-old AC system after they installed the previous system, which didn't fit the space. I also bought a service plan. Every time their technicians came for a visit, they tried to convince me that something new was wrong or that I needed to buy some other equipment. My plumber came to check the so-called gas leak, but there was no leak. I won't let these people into my home ever again.

and *** replased deteriorating ductwork, replased the vents, rebuilt a plenum, in the second story attic crawl space. Also installed a Halo air sanitizing light in the first floor plenum. They were very knowledgable and skilled in the installation process. The work was completed very quickly, approximately 4 hours. They removed and disposed the old ductwork. They were careful with our property, wearing booties any time they were indoors. The cleanup was complete leaving no debris for us to take care of. This was completed without cutting into the walls or ceiling. We can feel the difference in the air flow and cooling are much improved.

I used Cowboy's Air Conditioning & Heating a few years back for my mom's A/C. They did an alright job, but I've regretted dealing with them ever since. Their pushy marketing folks keep calling me, trying to get more business, even though I've told 'em multiple times to take me off their list. I've explained that my mom moved out of her San Antonio house years ago and she's no longer with us. But it seems like they don't listen 'cause I keep getting bombarded with their constant calls and botherin'. I've even tried blockin' their numbers, but somehow they still manage to get through without bein' recognized. If you don't wanna deal with a lifetime of annoyin' sales calls, steer clear of this company.

Harasses the elderly. Technician yelled at my father when he refused the work to be done. My father is a two time Vietnam Vet that is hearing impaired but didn’t deserve to be disrespected for refusing to getting the work done when three times he was told different things needed to be done. Fortunately, the company that was sent out by RBFCU’s homeowners’ repair warranty was able to get the AC working by adding Freon. All that was paid was the deductible. Cowboys technician told my father that the homeowner’s warranty would not pay for anything but they did. My poor father was still fuming last night from the treatment he received from the Cowboys technician. But at least my parents are now experiencing comfort in their home from the other company’s service.

Cowboy's Air Conditioning & Heating was responsive, giving us options and managing to secure financing for us, which is usually a rare occurrence. We had previously hired another AC company in the Converse area to come to our house when our AC unit was only partially functioning. The technician claimed that the outside unit appeared fine, but just needed a good cleaning. Consequently, we were charged for a pressure wash. Additionally, the technician inspected the other part of the AC unit and the ducts in our attic. Surprisingly, we were informed that our ducts were designed in a way that made it impossible for air to reach the rooms on the other side of the house. This was quite perplexing, considering we have a small 4-bedroom 70s rambler.

A few weeks later, our AC completely stopped working, even on cooler days. Our house became hotter than the outside temperature and failed to cool down at night. In dire need of assistance, we reached out to Cowboy's Air Conditioning & Heating. They arrived promptly and charged us significantly less. The technician ventured into our attic and presented us with pictures of the chaos that awaited us up there. There were leaks in the coolant, rusted coils resting on the ground, and evidence of water damage. They offered us various options at different price points, including the option to repair our current system. Remarkably, they managed to secure financing for us and promptly installed a brand new unit the following day. In just one day, they removed the old system and replaced it with the new one. To our surprise, they even sealed our duct system, despite not charging us for duct work. As a result, our entire house was being cooled (even though the duct design supposedly made it impossible). Consequently, we were able to return $600 worth of portable AC units and once again enjoy a freezing night's sleep.

All of the technicians were friendly, answering any questions we had. We even shared a few laughs about the absurd things the previous company had said about our system. The initial technician who sold us the service and secured the financing seemed a bit too concerned about speaking to me, the male, instead of my wife, who makes all the budget decisions. But hey, I guess that's just how things are around here, heh heh. Without a doubt, we would definitely use Cowboy's Air Conditioning & Heating again. They are a trustworthy company that you can rely on.
