Firstly, I want to bring to your attention that I still have a significant balance of approximately $152 in my Course Hero account. I had been relying on this income as a source of financial support, and the sudden disabling of my account has left me unable to access these funds. As a paying member of your platform, I expect to be treated with fairness and transparency, and the current situation has left me in a state of financial distress.

I would like to emphasize that I am unaware of any actions on my part that would have violated Course Hero's policies. To the best of my knowledge and recollection, I have consistently followed the guidelines and regulations set forth by your platform. If there has been any misunderstanding or miscommunication, I kindly request that you provide me with specific details regarding the violation I am alleged to have committed. It is my firm belief that proper communication and clarity are essential for resolving this matter.

On July 8,2023, I received an email notification from Course Hero informing me about the disabling of my tutor account. Immediately upon receiving the email, I took prompt action and responded to the provided email address, seeking clarification and requesting a review of my account status. However, despite my efforts to engage in a constructive dialogue, I have received no response from Course Hero. It is highly frustrating and unprofessional to be left without any form of communication or explanation after complying with the initial request.

For your reference, I have attached copies of both the email I sent in response to the disabling notice and the automated response I received. This documentation serves as proof that I have made genuine attempts to address this matter and that my subsequent communications have been ignored or overlooked.

I genuinely value the opportunity to contribute as a tutor on Course Hero, and I firmly believe that my account should be reinstated immediately, allowing me to resume my tutoring activities and access my accrued funds. I implore you to conduct a thorough review of my account, considering the absence of any apparent violation on my part, and rectify this situation promptly.

If necessary, I am more than willing to provide any additional information or cooperate in any way that will facilitate the resolution of this matter. I trust that Course Hero, as a reputable and customer-oriented platform, will take my complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to address my concerns promptly.

On July 3, 2023, I was accused by Course Hero for uploading an image that wasn't mine. During the1st week of July 2023, I then filed a complaint on complaintsboard.com. On July 12, 2023,I received an email from complaintsboard.com saying that the issue has been resolved and I was recommended to be "reaching out to our Tutor Support team as they are more specialized to handle your issue and resolve it.". The issue isn't resolved because I received an email on July 4, 2023 from Course Hero stating "any further attempts to review this decision will be denied".

I was a tutor at Course Hero & barred from answering questions on July 3, 2023. I was accused of uploading an image that wasn't mine. I tried to press the question ID but what came out was COM2.jpg. I emailed Course Hero support for details of my violation but none was given. All the answers I submitted have a backup copy in their editor because I take an image of my answer in their editor and repost it in their editor. Because I have experienced my answers being truncated when I submitted my answers before. I realized now maybe their editor has a watermark. I have documentation of all my Course Hero answers from April 20 to July 3, 2023 to prove all answers are original and mine alone.

The email I used in the Course Hero account is the same email I registered here. Kindly help me please. Thank you.

I promptly followed the instructions and uploaded the video on Google Drive. I shared the video link along with my email address. However, to my surprise, I received a response stating that my account has been permanently closed due to missed deadlines, despite having 10 more hours remaining. The initial deadline provided was 48 hours.

Coursehero is a pretty cool website, I gotta say. I used it once and they gave me some free unlocks, which was pretty sweet. But then I came back later and all my unused unlocks were gone, which was kind of a bummer. They say if you upload some documents, they'll give you some more unlocks, but I uploaded a bunch and didn't get anything. I even tried to answer some textbook questions and they said I was breaking some rule or something. I didn't know, man. But even after I started uploading all my own stuff, they still didn't give me any unlocks. I uploaded like 25 new documents and they denied some of them, but I still didn't get any unlocks. It's like, what the heck, Coursehero? Get it together, guys.

So, I accidentally bought the annual subscription for this course without even knowing what I was getting into. I was hoping that it would be helpful, but after looking over the content, I knew that it was not going to be useful for me. I decided to contact Course Hero for a refund and filed a claim with Paypal. However, Course Hero told me that they could not issue a return if I had a claim with Paypal. So, I cancelled the claim with Paypal and they closed the case.

After that, Course Hero told me that I "lost" the case with Paypal and that they were not able to refund my money. I was really upset about this because Course Hero was the one who said that they could not help me or refund me if I had a claim with Paypal. This made me cancel the claim that I filed. I believe that they did this on purpose so that they could say that I "lost" the claim fight with Paypal and were not able to refund me.

I know that any business can refund customers their money, especially if they haven't used the product. For example, restaurants refund customers if they do not like the food. Course Hero can also refund money, but they just wouldn't do it for me. I definitely feel like they scammed me and I am really disappointed with their customer service.

Overall, I would not recommend Course Hero to anyone. They do not care about their customers and they are not willing to help them out when they need it. If you are looking for a course that will actually help you, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there that are much better than Course Hero.

Yesterday, I had a bit of a problem with Course Hero. I answered a question, but it was marked as unhelpful. The reason given was that I didn't answer all the questions, but there was only one question asked, which I answered. I commented on the question to let them know that I had answered all the questions, but I still got marked as unhelpful.

Today, I received a warning email from Course Hero about posting unnecessary or irrelevant comments. It's frustrating because if a tutor spends an hour answering a question and it gets marked as unhelpful, there's nothing they can do. We can't even comment on the question to ask why it was marked unhelpful. If we raise a ticket for the question, hoping that someone from Course Hero will listen to us, all we get is an auto-generated email.

It seems like if you want to work as a Course Hero tutor, all you have to do is answer questions and hope that the student doesn't mark it as unhelpful for a refund. It's not a very good system. I think I'm going to switch to Chegg Expert now. Chegg has some really good services for students as well as experts.

Overall, I think Course Hero needs to work on their system a bit more. It's frustrating for tutors to spend time answering questions and then get marked as unhelpful for no reason. I hope they can improve their system soon.

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend Course Hero for tutors. They went and disabled my account for no good reason, saying it was linked to another account. I ain't the only one who thinks this way, either. Other people have left bad reviews about them, too. I don't know how they still in business with such a bad product. I tried to contact customer service multiple times to get a full refund, but they weren't trying to hear it.

I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. Their service is straight up awful. There are way better sources out there, so don't waste your time or money on Course Hero.

I was like, "Yo, I gotta get some help with my homework, man." So I checked out Course Hero, since I heard they got all the answers and stuff. I went for the cheapest option, 'cause let's be real, I ain't got no money to be throwing around like that. But then I was like, "What the heck, man? This ain't helping me at all!" But then, get this, after I sent them like four emails complaining and explaining my situation, they gave me a full refund the next day! I mean, that's pretty cool and all, but they only did it 'cause I signed up and unsubscribed in less than an hour. So if I waited any longer, I probably wouldn't have gotten my money back. So, I don't know, man. It's up to you if you wanna take that risk.

Course Hero is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. They are not trustworthy and I have had a terrible experience with them. I am writing this review to warn others about their fraudulent practices.

So, I recently tried out Course Hero and let me tell you, it's just like any other site out there. The moment you sign up, they immediately try to get you to pay for their service. I mean, come on, all I want are some answers, and they want me to pay $40 a month? That's just ridiculous! I'd rather stick with Quizlet and Brainly.

Another thing that really grinds my gears is that TechLaCarte claims to offer free document unblurring, but then they ask you to pay $2 to actually unblur it. What kind of scam is that? And don't even get me started on their "3 free unlocks per day" offer. Every time I log in, it's always sold out. It's like they don't even want to help students.

And what's up with having to upload 10 documents just to get 5 unlocks? That's just plain stupid. I don't need to upload documents, I just want answers. It's like they're trying to make it difficult for students to get the help they need.

Honestly, Course Hero is no different than Chegg or Bartleby. All they care about is making money, while students like us are struggling to get by. It's supposed to be a platform to help students, but it feels more like a scam. I definitely won't be using this site again.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Course Hero. I shelled out 170 bucks for access to their site, but all I got was a bunch of textbook pages uploaded over and over again. The only questions they had answers for were like, one or two per chapter. What a ripoff!

And to top it off, I can't even get a refund. They say on their site that you can get one, but when I reached out to them, all I got was some generic email from "Lou" saying they're sorry my experience wasn't up to snuff. Like, thanks for nothing, Lou.

I don't know what their deal is, but it seems like they're just trying to make a quick buck off of students who are struggling. And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's like they don't even care about helping people.

On June 18, 2023, Last night I mistakenly uploaded documents that are not mine; they're from my school and my mom's. I didn't get permission from the owners. My teacher already asked me to delete it. It also has my mom's private information in it, as well as her professor's email address and contact number. I already asked Course Hero to remove the documents, but no action has been taken yet. I really need to remove all of the documents from my account as soon as possible.

I have been waiting for over 3 months for my tutor application to be approved. I have emailed support and they cannot give me an answer to my question. They respond back with a pre-written response. In fact, they have stopped responding to me. I don't think it should take this long to approve me. Also, I don't like the way how I am being treated by support.

I am a tutor on CourseHero, and I have been using the platform for the past year. However, my account was recently blocked due to an integrity and honor code violation. I don't mind if my account was revoked. In the email I received, it was mentioned that if I had any balance in my CourseHero account, I would receive it back.

When I attempted to withdraw my earnings from CourseHero, I encountered an issue with the verification process for my contact number. It displayed an error message stating that it couldn't be verified using SMS. To resolve this, I reached out to tutor support for assistance. Unfortunately, they insisted that the problem was on my end, suggesting that I may have entered an incorrect contact number or that there was an issue with my device.

I made every effort to withdraw my money, even changing devices, but I was unable to do so. I have sent numerous emails to tutor support, providing them with screenshots for reference, but they have not offered any help. All I want to know is whether I will receive the money I earned through late-night question responses. However, in the end, I haven't received any assistance.

I am disappointed with the way CourseHero is handling their tutors who contribute to answering questions. I don't understand what CourseHero is trying to achieve with this situation. Is it intentional, or is there a technical glitch on their end? Please provide assistance.

Re: Confusion and conflict from a student reporting a tutor and restriction from Course Hero:

My take: We are only Tutors here and supposedly it's not our job to answer the whole assignment. We only teach them how to approach and answer the questions though some has already done for them (the students) so that they can follow the steps in answering the problem, that's why we're tutors using text in this platform and not someone who will do the assignment for them for a few bucks. However, there is this instance that a student (kadharbasha6789) scolded at me and telling me "ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS!". Now what will happen is the student might report me in Course Hero for not completing the work/task/assignment and what will Course Hero do is to suspend me from the platform. This is the problem. Course Hero should also protect its tutors and not just in-favor of the students. Because if these students are expecting the tutors to answer all their assignments for them, then it's not a tutor they need. Course Hero should take an action about this and prohibit or barred that kind of student who don't understand how this platform works for tutoring.

I have uploaded questions and asked to solve assignments from my university. I have been asked to remove it immediately by the lecturer. These files also need approval from my university before uploading however I was not able to attain such acknowledgement. I really need to remove the documents uploaded due to the demand of all people that are involved. The documents I uploaded were not properly checked. I want to delete all of my uploaded documents to stop misinformation and avoid copyright infringement.
