I am so so upset. I have always gone to Costa for coffee/brunch/ dessert or even a chat. On New years day I took 12 members of my family to enjoy the beginning of our year to Costa.
We spent lots of money on the drinks etc and had an amazing awesome time. It was absolutely so perfect.
But then...
When when we were all leaving something really upsetting happened which made me upset enough to cry. I am a 38 year old mum of 2 who can control emotions but when you get treated and insulted it can make a grown man cry.
Me and my family were stood at the doors ready to leave odeon. At that exact moment a waiter from odeon was walking in from outside holding 6 gallons of milk so quickly me and my sister and niece spoke at same time to our sister who had her back to the doors to move out of the way which obviously she did straight away. When the waiter walked in we all said "sorry" too, but he huffed and puffed and loudly said "Jesus Christ" storming off in really bad anger.
Wow. It was unbelievable. For a few seconds it went all quiet for me and my family.
Then I thought, wait a minute, Iv literally paid you near enough a hundred pound for coffee etc, said sorry and still I got treated like [censored]. So I walked up to him to speak to him to confront his insult etc but Omd he totally ignored me in front of all the customers sat at Costa making me feel even more crap and upset. So I looked so stupid following him about and talking to the air. Then another waitress who was also carrying these gallons of milk in from outside stopped to ask me if I'm ok. I told her what happened and how uoset I am. She also didn't do much apart from say "sorry".
No offence but a simple sorry doesn't just take away insults etc away.
3 years in a row for both Eids and New years day( so at least 3 -4 times in a year) me and my family of 13-15 people go and enjoy ourselves at Costa. Sorry but not again .
I am upset and got treated badly and it was 101% because we were asain.
I am born in England But that shouldn't matter.
I should have been treated with courtesy. I gave lots of custom to you. In return I got insulted.

How is this for an insult.You are an idiot for playing the race card without proof.
An apology is good enough. But since the other lady did nothing wrong to you she did not even owe you an apology. Also playing the race card as another user stated makes you appear foolish and stupid. Most usually those that do so are the ones that are racist themselves. This has nothing to do with your being Asian but more with your being in the way. An apology is good enough in this situation. What were you expecting. A gift card? Refund? Deduction from your bill? Well why should you get that if it was you that messed up. You were not mistreated because you are Asian. Stop playing the race card it makes you sound stupid. If you are going to play the race card without proof you deserve to be insulted. Especially when you want more than an apology for something that is YOUR fault. Grow up. Also dummy it is spelled mom not mum.
