I've used Con Cell for my iPhone for a few years and no complaints. But a few months ago I purchased their IRIS Plan which is like a VOIP phone but uses the electrical outlet in your home and no need for an internet or Cell. After 5 1/2 months the IRIS showed incoming calls but when I tried to answer my phone I only heard a consistent humming. The caller could not get to me. I called one back, which I never do since it's caller ID only showed phone numbers and no names and I get many Robo's. Luckily it was one of my Dr's who claimed my phone didn't work. I called back using my cell because another problem is when IRIS goes out not only can't I pick up the call but also can't make calls. I called Con Cell twice & talked to their tech's. The first did everything I knew he'd ask of me and do. He sent a stronger signal (or did he?) then had me disconnect from the outlet for a couple of minutes but it did not work. Then take all cords (electrical connection, and phone connect and phone election connect) and wait. After put all cord back still not working. Then asked me to push a reset button on the IRIS and wait again. Finally, it worked, BUT I told him it's defective and will absolutely happen again and I can't afford it being housebound and see 4 specialists who need to call me. An hour after he hung up the IRIS went out again. The next morning it worked an hour then went out for most of the day. I called another tech and he asked if it was now working. I said yes and he replied,"I can't help and can't do anything unless you call when it's not working. Even though they've received notices from the FCC and Dept of Consumer Affairs who emailed me stating they have 30 days to reply, I've heard nothing from them. They know everything stated above because I posted the same complaint on two Websites and they replied to both with exactly the same wording (Bot?). They said I should call their tech dept for help. I replied to their reply,"Obviously you didn't read my review because what you asked was in my review as already done twice.
Recommendation: Beware of unresponsive and many times rude customer service
