When we switched to Consumer Cellular, they were so helpful, and the service was good here in the country. Verizon tried to stop them from porting over our old number, but Consumer Cellular got it done. When service started going downhill (we were without phone, text, hot spot, internet for days) they said it was our phones. No. It was the tower. So, I switched to Verizon and my husband switched to T-Mobile. The phone number CS was able to port over all of a sudden couldn't be ported to T-Mobile. CS wouldn't let it go so we had to change his number. We got charged two FULL bills because I was on service for 2 days and my husband was on CS service for 4 days. What a scam.
Recommendation: Pick another company. The commercials are no longer true.
