02 Oct 2025 I opened an account with Consumer Cellular ordering the a new Samsung S25 Ultra phone in the process. I received the phone on 08 Oct 2025. A second phone was order directly from Samsung. On saturday 11 Oct 2025 during the course of activating the lines a physical sim card was detected in the S25 Ultra. We were instructed by CC to remove the sim card. When the tool was placed in the door it came off. The tray did not open and there appears to be a Sim card in the phone. Assurion wants me to pay to replace the phone which should be under manufactures warranty. Your customer service wants me to pay for a phone is Zero days old. Why is there a physical SIM card in my phone? Did you mail me a used phone? My paperwork clearly states eSIM. Why is this phone not being honored by a new phone warranty?
Desired outcome: I want Consumer Cellular to honor what was promised. I had forty days to try this phone and explain how you sent a supposed new phone out with someone's SIM card in it. I want a new phone.
