I called Consumer Cellular a few months ago as I just wanted information and was curious about the possibility of switching over to them. So I created an account and received a sim card in the mail a week later. But in the interim I decided not to use them because the current company I was using lowered their price. So, two months after I called Consumer Celllular telling them that I changed my mind and didn't want to leave my current phone company they decided to charge me $31.55 for no reason! It's a good thing I check my bank account daily!
Of course I called them immediately and they said they would reimburse me. Good grief! Is anyone minding the store over there?

I have no idea what's going on with Consumer Cellular nowadays, but I've been back and forth with them for the last month or so and question HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS? I've done cellphone business with them back and forth for several years, but here recently they have not been able to live up to , operate or fix the very systems or functions they advertise and charge for. This has been going on too long and in the last month I have juggled 2 services with them that led me to "porting" the services elsewhere. One would think that would be easy, because there's nothing new about "keeping your old number", oh but not with Consumer Cellular. Talking about messing up with one's communication, and being a Senior, I really am not taking this lightly(nor should anyone else)! If that wasn't bad enough, last night I see a charge from CC in my banking app and it is for MORE than the charges were when I had their active service. I don't want to have to even talk to them anymore because, personally, I've been hearing in my recent conversations what seems to be a lack of knowledge in the products they are selling and charging for and I'm not even going to address customer service! There's absolutely no reliable and trusted CHAIN OF COMMAND now days and it turns my stomach to feel I have to call them once again about new charges.
