ConAgra Foods — unethical behavior
I worked for conagra for six years. I worked my way up to a master mechanic in the maintenance department in the Russellville AR plant. The current plant manager, operations manager, human resources manager and maintenance manager are total hypocrites and liars. The current maintenance manager has a questionable past with the company, when he was an hourly employee. If you are honest and hard working, they will use you until they don't like you anymore. The current management says they are trying to change the culture, but if you talk to most longtime employees, they will tell you this is the worst management they have ever seen. Anyways, I was fired for a argument with a supervisor that talked to us like garbage on the radio. No witnesses to the argument, but still fired. The supervisor in question had many complaints to human resources about his behavior to the hourly employees. The HR department never did a thing about it. Conagra is a reactive company, not proactive. They let it go until something bad happens.
