Never got my item
So I order this custom made T-shirt online to give as a gift for Christmas at the end of November. Here it is almost Christmas day and my Uncle never received the package. I had it shipped directly to him and every other package he has had shipped to him has made it, but not Zazzles. I write them and was promised to be contacted within 48 hours. Nope, nothing... I hunted online to get a direct number to talk to a live person, on the line forever and nobody answered the automated music, running my my minutes on top of everything else. I have so far wasted my time, my money, my minutes, and have YET to talk to anybody about my issue... I will NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY! They just practically stole my money!

Racist products
While starting my Christmas shopping and surfing the internet I came upon Zazzle.com. I'd been looking for Sock Monkey shoes and came upon a real racist item that reads "Finally we have a face to put on the food stamp" the picture on the stamp is a picture of President Obama. Why would anyone with any self-worth/respect but this kind of trash. This is the last time I will ever look, much less shop on Zazzle.com and I will pass on the message to eveyone I know!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
There are more people on food stamps now than with any other President. That's not racist, it's a fact. If Obama has
his way we would all be on food stamps and completely dependent on the government.
Zazzle is not racist, you are just an idiot. It's called free speech ###s! If you do not like then do not buy it, but no one cares about your complaints because you did not like the design or humor.
Oh, you people are nuts. Could it be a dig on Obama's policy to make everyone dependent on the government? Sure could. But because the man is PARTIALLY "black" you have to jump on the race cart. Come on. Maybe it's just because he's not as popular now and people find a good way to capitalize on this. Get over it. Really.
VERY racist! Zazzle picks favorites and allow their sellers to design KKK stuff, monkeys that says "I'm black", products with the word ###, and other racist stuff. But they do not allow blacks to design stuff like a black woman with a big butt while they allow designs of nude white women, etc. etc.
VERY racist company that needs to be protested against!
I don't get it. What makes food-stamps racist? It could be that the customer who posted this product on Zazzle is a racist, but unless you personally know that person, how could you tell that?
It could also be that, like Glen Back, you think Barak Obama is a racist and therefore any products featuring him must also be racist. That is just silly.
I will never order from them again
This review is more of the business rather than the shopping. Zazzle said the order would take 5-12 business days to ship. I am now on day 13 and counting.. and can't give the item I purchased as a gift. Their shipping takes longer than they promise. When I complained to their customer service, they admitted that it has been seen to take an additional 5 days ... but they don't make that clear on their website.
I will never order from them again.
I ordered 2012 Christmas cards in early November. They arrived and were printed crooked. I requested a return and replacement cards before Thanksgiving. The request was granted and I received an email that they were being reprinted and would mail out soon. It took two more requests and a phone call (with a 15 minute wait) to apparently actually get the cards printed. They are now in the mail and tracking to arrive on Christmas Eve even though I was assured by customer service they would arrive immediately by courier. Horrible experience and I will never deal with zazzle.com again.
Well my stuff wasn't personalized/engraved or customized. It was standard stuff from their website. From the time of the order, Dec. 2, to delivery today, took them 21 days. I wanted the stuff last weekend and it was promised by then. There were multiple email messages to me explaining how sorry they were and how they expedited everything so I'd have them in time. They sent them UPS and it took 8 days because they "forgot" to expedite the shipping...as promised. Now graduation is over and I've got 3 items to give to the graduate on Christmas rather than graduation day. Oh well. I will NEVER order from these bozos again. Certainly there are other t-shirt companies out there who actually live up to their promises.
Exactly the same thing happening to me right now. As soon as I get the stuff, which I order on Dec. 2...and it's now Dec. 21, I will block them from ever sending me an email or communicating with me again. I will also post notes stating my dissatisfaction with them on my Facebook and every other web site I can find. I contacted them several days ago and was promised expedited delivery...and that turned out to be regular delivery or worse. The package was supposedly sent from California last week...and won't be delivered until the 23rd. They make a lot of promises, eventually deliver, but not up to their promises. Buyer beware.
Zazzle.com stealing my shop's traffic & profits
Does Zazzle, and Cafepress' founders have a license to steal from Americans? Click on my Zimbio blog URL to read and witness a huge con being ran on one of the poorest citizens in the U.S. in me who survives on SSI.
Jeff Beaver is also a Stanford alumni to the founders of Google who helps Zazzle in their scamming with internet traffic to the clone pages of (some) merchants Zazzle gift shop. Zazzle, MySpace, and Cafepress are all cloning my gift shop's pages. I want to audit, and sue them all.
All I need is a financier who will partner up with me and pay to file a 30 million dollar lawsuit against both Google, MySpace, Cafepress, and Zazzle.Com, for what they are doing to me.
I can't believe our Government is allowing these arrogant thieve to rip us shopkeepers off. I suppose we must deal with it in our way. They have no idea when judgement will come koncking at their knees. I've been promised that I will be paid for all my labor.

Very interesting those serious accusations against Zazzle and Cafepress. I would like to know more about this problem.
Entire account deleted & non-payment for sale
Response to awareness of other disappointments with zazzle.com found on complaintsboard.com -
I am an artist whom had signed up with zazzle hoping to find an alternative sales resource. I too had a complaint against my use of 1 free image I put on a postage stamp.I had used a few free images that passed their screening for their 'keds shoe's' contract, all other art was mine. My hard drive died about 2 months ago it took 3 weeks before I was able to aqcuire & install a new one. Finally back online I see my email had three notices from zazzle & regarding 'their' issue with the stamp. The third notice stated they tried to contact me & deleted my account within three days.If i were sick or injured i don't believe they tried very hard at all to contact me because they also have your phone number! Also why delete the entire "approved" revenue generating products for one 'not yet verified' product seems very extreme and over the top to me.I guess it's because I'm not famous and rich like them.If I were famous like some of the celebrity designers they have on there i'm certain they would extend every courtesy toward maintaining my designs.I did sell 1 child's apron that my mom bought for my niece and I have yet to get payment royalty for that sale!I'm not happy with them at all, I called several times, the customer service don't know the zazzle administration & all they say is email them.I got zero response from several emails sent to them.I will re-register with them to give my art another opportunity to be purchased by those that want it.If this sort of problem occurs again you will see my complaints again and I may go further than this site.I appreciate the 'ComplaintsBoard' existence, I will check every site that I intend to engage with that involves monetary transactions from now on, recovering from scams or unscrupulous businesses is far from my expectations of living the American dream. - M.J.
If any of you artist's have found a better place to sell art let me know! fit1god3@gmail.com
I now feel like i must pre-check every site for complaints & potential scamming before I get involved. With that said I'll have to put - redbubble.com / cafepress.com / and lulu.com up on the chopping block to see if they support what they advertise.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I agree 100%. I am an artist and has had many images removed. I felt the images were still old to the client that ordered it. The image was approved but when it sold, it was disqualified. I feel they are scammers also.
Zazzle keeps removing my products due to allegations of copyright violation. I have never used any copyrighted work. I know in particular who the allegations came from and know for an absolute fact none of their material is used in my products. My products are however satire of their products so perhaps they just dont like the satirical humor.
Zazzle offers no opportunity for artists to dispute allegations or defend their work. If they get an allegation they just remove the work mindlessly. I kept re-posting one work and it kept getting taken down until I actually got an attorney involved. Im searching for another attorney to bring a suit against Zazzle for their indiscriminate removal of work based on any allegation whatsoever without offering the artist an opportunity to dispute the allegation.
I understand them removing any work which actually violates copyright laws but apparently Zazzle knows absolutely nothing at all about actual copyright laws. Once I got the attorney involved to explain it to them on the one product they stopped removing it. I dont want to go through that with every product they decide to remove so I think a lawsuit to slap them upside the head might be in order.
Content management team
Those people will suck all blood out of you! Very unprofessional and pathetic customer service. I wanted to simply make a custom t-shirt and poster for my friend's birthday. It took me a month. Why?! Because zazzle.com has incredibly rude and unhelpful content management team. They cancelled my order 2 times and had a big dispute 3rd time telling me that my design is somebody else's intellectual property. It takes 10 days for them to refund your money. To make the long story short I've been convincing them that my design is my own "intellectual property" and I created it myself, people in content team told me to translate what my t-shirt design says (it was in russian)...i mean, why?!?! What's the point and besides why can't they do it themselves using the google translate...where in their policy it says to attach translation to the design. Horrible experience! I always liked zazzle for the quality of their products but that was the last straw. People in customer service have no skills, never answer your complaint letters and never apologize. Use it if you are willing to deal with thousands of pointless question and LONG time to process your order. Have a nice day!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
My frustration stems from the arbitrary decisions being made. I often create, or buy, items with original artwork from famous painters. I recently received a cancellation for an item that had a famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. I did not create, or alter, the item…it is sold on their site. Research into the artwork shows the painting is in the public domain…there is no copyright. The cancellation notification states they don’t have a license to sell merchandise of the person. Okay, you don’t have a license to sell merchandise of Queen Elizabeth, who is all over the site? Is it de Laszlo’s, the artist? Again, I purchased the item, already made, from the site. If a license is needed to sell items linked to these two individuals, perhaps the company should remove the multitude of items being offered on their site. I am fine with maintaining a policy that is compatible with laws, but this makes no sense.
What it all boils down to with these "content managers" is whether or not their personal politics and sensitivities were in some way, shape, or form accosted. In short, whether or not you created said image or not is irrelevant. If the individual "assessing" the image, listing name, and tags doesn't like it---oh well.
They sell themselves, or at least they used to, as being a resource for artists to sell their work. Yep, it sure is. What they don't tell you is that they charge so much up front for their hit or miss quality, that designers are forced to lower their royalty rates to the bare minimum if they have any hope of generating sales. Also, their "discount codes" do not come out of the Zazzle profits, but out of the designers profits.
Zazzle appears less about helping artists than they are themselves and their personal political agendas. Take a look at what they offer as "trending" and what they promote and ask yourself, does Zazzle help designers or just a specific type of designer?
Yeah, Zazzle content review are absolutely a type of 'special' all of their own. I got a basketball reviewed and deleted because it featured the Portuguese national flag. Apparently, such content was not 'suitable for display on Zazzle or printing by their partners'. This despite me, and many others have hundreds of other products featuring the Portuguese flag.
Could this be yet another example of Zazzle employing such low life [censored] in their CRT that they actually don't know what the flag (or Portugal) is, and think it is some kind of racist thing? Probably, but alas, we will never know, because as others have pointed out here - Zazzle CRT never actually read and respond to questions, beyond sending a link to their Content Guidelines. You couldn't make this stuff up. Really considering closing my Zazzle account, despite selling quite a lot (and hence making them a lot of money) every month.
Zazzle - the worst service in the history of the internet. AVOID.
I am a shop owner there and dont get any better explanations that you. I had an image up ona number of products for a week, then they were removed saying I may have violated some UK Defence department. May have. I then looked through their shop for similar products and guess what? There were not only heaps of them using the same image background I used, but I have a similar image that is up(A Spitfire of WW2, the image in controversy is a Hurricane of WW2) and that image is ok? These incompetent fools simply do not have any idea on what the copyright laws are, and if they did, they would know that it is not their responsibilty for the images, but the copyright holder to take legal action against the person who is putting the image up. All I can say is what a bunch of ###ing idiots.
I spent hours and hours designing a calendar on Zazzle.com. I took great care to avoid trademarked text and images because I have had horror stories with Zazzle's arbitrary, incompetent and secretive content review policy. They make you play guessing games. They claim trademark/copyright violations but won't say exactly what. They claim image violations and then link me me to an image I photographed of an object I own! They make you try and guess if there is any complainant at all. And if you ask for any kind of reasonable details to fix the problem they say it cannot be divulged because of legal policy. Oh but it gets even better. This time around they removed the calendar from public sale AND ALSO removed it from my private list and even from my in-progress designs. It is completely gone. So I LOST HOURS AND HOURS of design work. Zazzle sucks.
I couldn't agree more.
I had to explain copyright law to these idiots and they STILL continue to cancel and order that I have the legal right to make.
They are completely incompetent. And that is the nicest word I can possibly use for them.
The content management team are just a bunch of low paying drones that don't know anything about copyright protection. They may claim that you violated copyrights while in fact they are bunch of ###s making assumptions without any proof.
Basically, under the content management team's eyes that you are guilty until proven innocent (if at all possible).
The content management team should all be fired.
Wow, I had a similar experience this week - wish I'd read your comments first. I wrote about it on my blog - and hours later, received petulant, defensive comments there - gee, I wonder who it could have been? So I responded in kind. This is no way to run a business.

Scam
They have pathetic customer service, no physicall address or phone number, and they are thieves!
DO NOT TRUST their google ranking etc, and do not get any customized items done from them, they WILL NEVER REACH YOU.
They track your credit card information and store it for privacy abuse also.
ZAZZLE.COM is a scam! beware from them, do not purchase any custom made items from them.

Zazzle auto renewed the zazzle black without my authorization... As if that was not enought... Zazzle does not let you remove your credit card information so they can find illegal reasons to charge your credit card!

This guy is probably fed up with the way zazzle treats you when you are a designer. Zazzle has a nice ::hush:: team. They don't own up to any of their actions. All most designers want is to create peacefully, and Zazzle has made it a big "bully" session. Completely disrespectful to the people who spend 30 hours a week designing content for them, and only get cents on the dollar in return. Honestly, they are creating this. All these complaints from Zazzle wouldn't be posted if they show at least a little ability to respect the work these designers do. This company takes advantage of people's time with no guaranty to anything, and you have to tolerate when they decide to delete content that took 12 hours to design and upload.. . . .and yet not paying for the time spent for trial and error. People get paid a full salary to tolerate this kind of treatment on the job, but most jobs aren't even this bad. Zazzle is going to have to own up to enforcing their use / abuse of an Policy, controling how independent contractors work, soon. You can only write off a scam for what it is, until the law gets involved. And, yes, they will stay in business, but only after a pretty penny.
So where is the phone number if so easy to find? The may have millions of HAPPY customers but seem to have MANY complaints just on this site alone and the majority seem to be because they cant find any contact information.
Is SO simple to find info on Zazzle, their address, their phone numbers and their email address for customer service couldn't be easier . . . Zazzle is a fine, quality company with millions of HAPPY customers for the few fools who can't figure out the simplest things. Don't be fooled by a fool.
lol its jealousy talking1 when they are official sponsors of bay to breakers 2011 and everyone knows where zazzle is located!
You are wrong. Zazzle is a big and respected company. Why would they be a scam? They would earn more in the start but later everyone would know that it's a scam and nobody would buy things anymore and Zazzle would become bankrupt. There's more to earn for a legal company, because people continue to buy things and it keeps existing. They aren't a scam.
I have complaints about Zazzle but yours is at least partially incorrect which leads me to have doubts about the rest of it. Zazzle does have a physical address and phone number.

If youre going to complain make it legitimate
Good complaint if it were in fact true but judging by your post on the zazzle forum the product you tried to order featured an image which was of Johnny Cash .. which means it would never of been printed as it was a copyright violation .. as for your credit card .. no they do not store your info to abuse it .. and any monies you already payed are refunded to you .. perhaps before you start shouting "scam" and other libelous claims you educate yourself on copyrights ..
A long time Zazzle customer and SK
Online fraud
I too have had problems with this company, although not so much with faulty merchandise being delivered. I created several shirts - the only non-text item on them whatsoever was a piece of artwork I designed myself. Within 3 weeks I received an e-mail from zazzle stating that 'somebody' claimed it was their 'intellectual property' and they just arbitrarily removed it without any investigation or even asking. I wrote them back informing them that it, in fact, was not somebody else's and requesting a name and contact info for this person/organization's general counsel to file charges of copyright infringement and slander.
All this 'Erik' with Zazzle's 'Content Management' provided, after 6 e-mails requesting the full name, address, and any contact info they were provided, was the name of a company (Affinity Consultants). No proof whatsoever that they owned my design, nothing specific on the shirt that supposedly belonged to them, just their name and the claim. After visiting their website, they're an environmental protection consulting firm!
Anywho, if you guys are trying to find a better way to get in touch with Zazzle, why not contact their management team (contact info is listed below, including home address and phone number so you can get in touch even after those pesky business hours when their minds are fresh as they relax in their $1.1 million dollar homes).

I became a seller at Zazzle in 2007. Have made the company in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Have had issues over the years with a forum and moderators who are indifferent to many personally and have gone on banning spree's and insult and post about the person on the forums they do not like ( I have hundreds of these posts). Three of my so bans from the forum were lied about saying it was my browser. My last one something for a reply I got from support I posted to answer a forum question was told I could not do that and was banned from the forum, no biggy many are, .
However, almost a year later, I tried to contact a member of the forum as I cannot post there about a post I thought she wrote same name (only two people with this name) and was asking her about another place we worked online which is talked about all the time in the forums, with no objection from Zazzle. Accidently I sent it to the wrong person same name and it was sent through the artists store (Contact Seller link). It also contained concerns on the forum about referrals not being credited but give to Zazzle another concern of many artists. Again publically both issues are talked about on the forum.
So Zazzle after 12 years sent me a email saying my stores of over 5, 000 products hand designed were removed for what they claim was "Poaching". I wrote the person I thought I had and found out it was not her. So I wrote the person a amends and that the message was not meant for her, . I also spoke to the person it was intended for and she confirmed we had in the past talked about this other company and i was not poaching her either.
Several years ago they took down thousands of my designs that they never again gave me the chance to discus. I had to fight for days for them to stop and listen to my side. And was allowed to put them back up but it was to late I lost 7 years of rankings and never was able to recoup. I went on did not cause any problems about it or look for legal remedy. But this again is showing they have it in for me personally.
After sending this to Zazzle they have refused to review it, and now refuse to send me my pending earnings and a doc on all earnings I have made for my records as I can no longer see them/
I am pursuing legal action and that person in the process of contacting the owners if Zazzle does not reply within a time frame we have established giving them more than enough time to reinstate my 12 years of work and earnings as seniors we need, worked hard for and depended on.
This is total disparate treatment which we are giving Zazzle the benefit of the doubt as being unintentional treatment until we can conclude they are not going to answer which so far have not.
It is shameful what they have done to a 79 year old man and he is not alone, have seen this happen to several people they just do not like.
Zazzle auto renewed the zazzle black without my authorization... As if that was not enought... Zazzle does not let you remove your credit card information so they can find illegal reasons to charge your credit card!
Zazzle took my payment and RAN. After I was making many sales they closed my account ...not only took the customers money took my cut too. Shame on your Zazzle... Let's create a Class Action Suit against Zazzle...How can you close someone store and take their money from months and years of hard work? But yet you took the money didn't you Zazzle from customers! Spread the word Class Action Law Suit

Received a defective product -- tried to review it but the review wouldn't work. They still haven't adhered to their return policy and provided me an RMA envelope to return the product. Ordered a custom VT Hokie lumbar pillow and it showed up with white, bleached specs all over it ... so disappointing.
Interestingly enough, when I was asked if I was satisfied with my experience and clicked "no", I was brought to an invalid link. When I clicked "yes" I was brought here. hmmm. Well, after a bad 2010 experience in which my 10 not customized christmas cards took over a month just to ship, I thought I would give Zazzle another chance. This time I placed another order of about 10 or so Christmas cards. I received the cards. Yay Zazzle...Ohh, but the envelopes. I was mailed fewer envelopes than the cards I purchased. Come on Zazzle. Booo Its a shame because I think the cards available are quite clever and cute. They just make it near impossible to mail them out to your kith and kin without a hitch.
ok so this isnt a complaint. I ordered invitations my daughter designed herself from this website then saw all the complaints on this website and was so scared I was going to get crappy invites. I received them today and they were beautiful! they were exactly what she designed and looked perfect in every way when we received them. It took me four days to receive them from the day we ordered them. they were packed well and were delivered in perfect condition.
I ordered t shirt for daughter . In addition to charging $25 for the t shirt, they charged $24.00 for shipping and handling! To add insult to injury I just realized theyve been charging me $9.95 automatic renewal for zazzle black for the past two years! I spent over 1 hour going through the website and it is impossible to find out how to cancel the automatic renewal. This is definately a scam!
Yes, I was also charged through PayPal, no doubt! It's states you will be given the chance to opt out before you are charged and I was not notified and not given a chance to opt out. An unauthorized payment was charged on my PayPal account.
I have had Zazzle remove my work numerous times because of some supposed copyright infringement. I am getting suspicious as three of these items have sold, but when I check my sales, those have been canceled. Could this be a scam to collect money on products, but not pay the artist? I don't know, but I put a lot of hours into everything I have posted, plus the time setting up a Zazzle store. I am ready to close out my account with them. I do much better with Red Bubble.
Failure to pay
Company claims it takes 45 days from sale to payment. They post "paper check" to Paypal. Two weeks have passed since posting. Still no payment received or posted on Paypal. When making inquiries, they send a "template" letter asking if account is set up properly, AFTER they've already made payment to same account in past. Zazzle.com employees stall, lie and cajole, but payment still doesn't arrive.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They sold me an item described as “leather case” it arrived as it a a pixilated photo of leather. Their return policy states I can return for a refund, but when I contacted customer service they refused to refund and offered a store credit. Buyer beware. The company is an online scam.
I have complained three times that Zazzle charged me $7 and shipped me one lousy Christmas card. They have NEVER even acknowledged my complaint. It's only $7 so I am not financially hurt, but I am absolutely infuriated by how Zazzle does business. It should be shut down. It's a total con.
I bought a T shirt and uploaded a pic to be put on. On my computer the pic was not dark and fuzzy. When i received the shirt the pic is fuzzy and dark. Why would someone want a shirt like that. Do you have quality control? At least a e - mail saying pic is different. I will not wear [censored]. $ 22.00 for nothing.
My business name does not have a space in between the two words "the" and "beehive" I'm really unsatisfied and do t even want to hand them out but I have an event this weekend and have no choice. I am really really hoping for some resolution on this matter as soooooooooooooon as possible. That would be so very wonderful and very appreciated!
I never signed up for Zazzle Black but I did get an email and thought someone hacked into my account. I unsubscribed for the auto renew (I never signed up for the free trial), and I see they charged my credit card $9.95 for the Zazzle Black service. Unauthorized charge!
Zazzle cancelled my order saying our picture was in conflict with their content guidelines. The picture was a group shot of a family member and some others standing over a buffalo in South Dakota. There was nothing about the photo in conflict with any laws and did not display anything violent. Completely absurd!
I have a paid in my account $9.95 the date 9/25/17 but I don't realized the order- I don't know what is this- I'm your costumer but I don't have order that one year ago- please check this and answer me
I ordered hair salon modern glitter cards and they are not glitter at all. On your website they looked shiny sparkly but in person they are dull, the back of the cards are not glitter at all. What can you do to resolve this problem because I wan planning on ordering more products from you but as of now I am not happy at all. Thank you, Tammy Meyer
Hello,
Zazzle Designer Here as well! I am so upset with this company! I have been with Zazzle for almost 3 yrs. I'm a Zazzle Pro and I worked vary hard to get it! I have spent huge amounts of money to, help my business grow. My store took off pretty quick once I got the hang of it. They have managed to "so called" hidden almost my entire store! My Pinterest, My Websites, and all of My Social Network customers get the pleasure of clicking a link that no longer exists! I have asked Zazzle why they have done that! The only response was, Christmas products are hidden when it's not Christmas. Well, guess what? I do not make Christmas Products! No explanation at all! They have completely ruined my business! They are probably using my designs to pocket the money! I have also noticed not getting paid! So Zazzle pretty much takes from you and there is nothing you can do about it. I tried deleting products, NOPE can't do that either? I'm going to make sure I spread the word out about this. I am a Mother with kids that need food in their bellies! Wow!
Amy
