Meesho Meesho: Lack of Support and Fraudulent Practices - A Warning for Sellers

We have been using Meesho as a selling platform for quite some time now. As sellers, we put in a lot of effort to create videos and take pictures of our products before sending them out to Meesho customers. However, we have encountered several issues with the platform.

One major problem we faced is when our products were stolen or replaced during the shipping process. In such cases, we expected Meesho to support us and help us with the claim process. Unfortunately, they have consistently refused to take responsibility for these incidents. Their response to our claims has always been the same, stating that "Meesho was unable to get our call." Additionally, we have noticed that Meesho is more focused on advertising and appointing sales managers for our account rather than providing the necessary support when we need it the most. It seems like they prioritize their own interests over the concerns of their sellers.

Meesho is an absolute disaster, providing the worst service imaginable. I strongly advise against shopping on Meesho or selling through their platform. It's a complete money pit, where all your hard-earned capital will vanish into thin air. There is absolutely no customer support available, and forget about getting any claims approved. No matter how honest and genuine you may be, Meesho is not at a stage where they can return anyone's money. Their logistic partners are all thieves, as they open up packages, replace the contents with fake products, and deliver them to unsuspecting customers. This way, neither the seller nor the customer can make any claims. It's a third-rate app that should be avoided at all costs. If you don't want to suffer a major loss, I suggest leaving Meesho as soon as possible.

Meesho is honestly the worst business app to shop from, hands down. Let me tell you, they don't even bother delivering your precious products, let alone giving you a refund. It's like they enjoy playing mind games with you.

On 6th April, I ordered long dresses from the Meesho app and made an advance online payment. On 8th April, I received a message saying that my order has been delivered, but when I checked, the dresses were not delivered. So, on 9th April, I lodged a complaint with Meesho customer support. However, when I contacted the Meesho helpline regarding my complaint, they put my call on hold for a long time without resolving the issue. I was frustrated with their lack of response and action towards my complaint.

Meesho Meesho Review: Beware of this Company - Fraudsters, Liars, and Cheaters!

Meesho, oh boy, where do I even begin with this company? Let me tell you, they are a bunch of fraudsters, liars, and cheaters. I mean, seriously, everyone from the sellers to the logistics team to the customer care representatives, they're all in on it.

So, here's what happened. I ordered a kurti from Meesho, but instead of receiving the beautiful kurti I had my eyes on, what do I get? An old, dirty, stained men's trouser! Can you believe it? I was furious! Naturally, I wanted to return this monstrosity, but guess what? The courier guy had the audacity to reject my return. Can you imagine the nerve?

Now, I thought maybe I could get some help from Meesho's customer service, but boy was I wrong. They denied me any sort of assistance, claiming that the company had confirmed sending the right order. Can you believe the nerve of these people? I lost my hard-earned money and all I'm left with is this useless product.

But wait, there's more! I had another product from Meesho, and this time it was actually the right one. However, I didn't quite like it, so I decided to return it. A guy came to collect it, picked it up, and off he went. But here's the kicker, he didn't bother updating the pickup status. Can you guess what happened next? Yep, you got it! I lost my money again. It's like they're playing a game with my finances.

Let me tell you, corruption runs deep in all departments of this company. They simply don't give a $#*! about their customers. One of their agents had the audacity to tell me that they can't do anything for me because I have been labeled as a bad customer due to my past returns. Well, excuse me, but if these useless people had done their job right in the first place, why would I even need to return anything?

I've tried reaching out to all the higher authorities possible, but guess what? Not a single reply from anyone. It's like they don't even care about their customers' concerns. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Meesho Meesho: The Kingpin of Fraud in Indian Ecommerce

Meesho is the kingpin of fraud in the Indian ecommerce industry. They not only deceive buyers, but also exploit thousands of new entrepreneurs who are just starting out. The situation is especially dire for Meesho suppliers. The claim of selling on Meesho with zero percent commission is nothing but a lie. Running a business without capital and expenses is simply impossible, and Meesho takes advantage of online sellers by cheating them in various ways.

One of their tactics is placing fake orders. Third-party logistics companies collect these orders, but then Meesho marks them as customer returns. Despite suppliers raising numerous tickets on the Meesho Panel and following up extensively, the customer return and RTO (Return to Origin) orders are never returned to the supplier. The logistics company falsely marks the orders as delivered without actually returning them to the supplier. Suppliers are then forced to start another round of follow-ups with the Meesho team to obtain proof of delivery, which is often fake. The fraudulent Meesho seller support team takes an excessive amount of time to respond, and when they do, they simply provide a link to the proof of delivery. However, the supplier never receives any link. After 2-3 follow-ups by the supplier, the fraud team forcefully closes the ticket, preventing the supplier from reopening it. If the supplier tries to create a new ticket, the deceptive system does not allow it.

Meesho forcefully insists that suppliers pay for orders. They pressure suppliers to purchase a paid plan in order to control customer returns and courier returns. Additionally, they push suppliers to purchase the Claim Approval paid plan. This way, Meesho and their logistic partners gain huge profits, while small entrepreneurs suffer from product losses, packing losses, manpower losses, and exorbitant shipping charges. The situation for Meesho suppliers is truly dire. It is disheartening to think that an Indian company would cheat its own people in such a manner.

Meesho Fraudulent Supplier on Meesho: Unreliable Delivery, Fake Item, and Data Leak Concerns

I placed an order on Meesho on 10th Oct for an imitation jewellery set. The order ID was *** and it cost me Rs. 2279. I chose the COD payment mode. According to the app, the item was supposed to be dispatched on 13th Oct. On the morning of 15th Oct, I received a courier from BlueDart at around 9:45 am. The parcel contained all the information that matched my order, including the order ID, item description, my full address, phone number, amount, and payment mode.

However, the BlueDart delivery person did not allow me to open the parcel and check its contents without paying the money first. Reluctantly, I paid the money through UPI and opened the parcel. To my dismay, the item I received was a completely different local item worth only Rs. 50. The BlueDart employee refused to take it back and advised me to contact Meesho instead.

I immediately contacted Meesho's customer support at around 10 am. The customer support representative informed me that the status in the app had not been updated and asked me to wait for 24 hours. However, around 1:18 pm, I received an update in the app stating that my cancellation request had been initiated and the order was canceled, even though I never requested such cancellation.

I made multiple attempts to contact Meesho's customer support, providing them with all the necessary supporting photos and details. However, I kept receiving the same rejection response from different customer support representatives. Meesho claims that the order was not processed by them and advised me to contact the sender. It is evident that the sender must have provided some fake address and phone number. I managed to obtain the address and phone number, but the phone number is switched off.

My concern is how the sender gained access to all my sensitive details, such as the order ID, payment mode, amount, full address, and phone number. Meesho has not provided a satisfactory answer to this question. These details should only be visible to Meesho and their respective suppliers. If the supplier did not send the item, then there may be a data leak, which is even more concerning.

It seems that Meesho is allowing fraudulent suppliers to join their platform, and once these suppliers cheat the customers, Meesho washes their hands off the matter. I demand a refund of my money.

I'm Supriyo Dasgupta, a reseller on Meesho for many years now. Recently, I've been facing a lot of issues with receiving my payments (margin) for the orders placed by my customers on Meesho. Unfortunately, I haven't received any payment till date, despite sharing my entire bank statement.

Yesterday, I took the matter to the Consumer Forum and filed a complaint for each product margin that I haven't received yet. Here are the details of the orders:

All these payments are still pending. The executives at Meesho keep giving me fake commitments, claiming that they have already credited the amount to my account. It's common sense, which seems to be lacking among the people at Meesho and their executives. If I had received these payments in my account, why would I waste my time filing complaints with the Consumer Forum? I don't have that much time to waste.

Another point to note is that if I had received these payments from Meesho, why are they not reflecting in my bank statements? You can check the statements that I have already sent to your team via email.

Furthermore, I have filed a complaint against one of your executives as well. You will soon receive the FIR copy via email.

Additionally, we have filed harassment charges against Meesho for Rs. 1 lac, which you will need to pay. We will recover that amount from Meesho for harassing the Meesho reseller.

I recently placed an order on Meesho.com and opted for the prepaid mode of payment. However, when I received the product, I was disappointed to find that I only received one quantity instead of the two I had ordered. I done ordered 6 stuffs from Meesho, ya know? And guess what? 2 of 'em came in with fake stuffs, like some old tshirt and pant that done been used before. Meesho Meesho: A Haven for Thieves, Beware of Scam and Garbage Products

These guys are thieves, I bought so much stuff from here, but they sent me garbage instead of a product and didn't even give me a refund. When I called them, they said that the product didn't match the original picture, and their policy is that they will only give a refund if there's a match. They are sending all sorts of rubbish, and there's no one to listen to our complaints. These thieves are all the same, they should shut down this app. I told all my friends about it, and they all deleted their accounts. No one will use this anymore, Meesho is full of thieves who are just eating people's money and sending garbage in packages.

Meesho Terrible Customer Service and Low-Quality Suppliers: A Warning About Meesho

Meesho needs to seriously reconsider their business practices because they clearly don't care about their customers. The suppliers they work with are nothing but a bunch of low-quality suppliers and scammers. They have the audacity to deliver products that are completely wrong, defective, and of terrible quality. I personally experienced this when I received a product that was not only incorrect but also faulty. When I reached out to complain about it, Meesho simply washed their hands off the matter and said they couldn't do anything to help me. Can you believe that?

To make matters worse, when I called Meesho to discuss the issue, they had the nerve to tell me that their suppliers had sent the correct product and refused to exchange it. It's absolutely ridiculous! I'm attaching a picture as proof of the wrong product I received from their suppliers. I can't stress this enough, but please, please, do not waste your money by buying anything from Meesho. It's just not worth it.
