Walmart racism

I went to your store and went to buy some house hold items. There was no tag so I asked the price. The employee told me that she would scam it. I told the Indian ### her don't bother to scan the effing item. If it was not priced I would not buy it. Another customer told me that I need to treat people with respect. I told her to mind her own business and get the eff out of my space. Security was called and I was asked to leave the store. The employee lied and said I was rude to her and threatened to hit her. Which I did not it was the other lady that I threatened to hit and I apologized after that. I have three children and if anything bad happens to them because of this I will hold you responsible.

You don't know how to read regions bank employee. I never said the police were involved. I just said that security was called. The reason that the security did not call the police was because they knew that I was right and they were wrong. Learn to read dummy, unless of course your drinking problem fried your brains. Then again maybe that is why you sound like a grade school dropout the your drinking and drug problem fried your brain.

The racism was that though they were telling the truth, I was not believed because I was black and security was very fast to come. They assumed because I am black that I would carry on with my threat. That is racism dummy. Also I never called her a ###, I only posted it online you dumb ###. Or maybe you don't know how to read because you dropped out of the fifth grade? Or maybe you fried your brain cells putting alcohol into your Doctor Cherry Pepper and that is why you are a dumb ###?

I accidentally dropped a bottle of jam on the floor, I went to the manager and offered to pay for it. He said that it was an accident and that I don't have to pay for it. I was very offended by this, just because I am black does not mean that I cannot afford to pay for a $3.93 bottle of jam that I broke accidentally.

I agree w/heath2011! I have accidentally broken minor things in stores & have always been told "Don't worry about it, it was an accident." I am white & I assume I look like I can pay for it. And here I thought the stores were giving me GOOD customer service! Some people just are looking for trouble. I can scarcely believe ANYONE would be offended by this store's very civil response.. Good grief, we get accused of racism no matter what we do with some people! Grow up.

Walmart my 305th complaint on this site and 30th complaint about them..

I am very upset that the Wal-Mart and its employees didn't offer to park my car for me and they didn't polish my shoes upon entering the store and they wouldn't kiss my feet. I am extreemly dissatisfied with the lack of customer service they have. The employees also wouldn't wipe for me and they also refused to tie my show when the velcro came undone. I am going to tell my husband that doesn't love me to go "service" his bosses into a better discount for me so I can buy more unnecessary garbage made by abused foreign children. Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart. My husband works at the head office for Wal-Mart. I weigh 400 pounds

Walmart deli

Out of the 7 different days I've tried obtaining the WalMart Deli's orange chicken over a period of 2 months, I have only been successful 2 times. These elusive chicken morsels are tasty but rarely available. I don't mind being told "no we're out and it will be awhile before we can get anymore done" but I do mind being told "they will be ready in 7 minutes" and when I come back 45 minutes later I am told brusquely "I haven't gotten to them yet" in an aside, thrown over her shoulder as she scurries away to attend to her "busyness". Even that doesn't bother me so much as the fact that I am disabled and I just spent 10 minutes slowly and painfully walking from one end of the store to the other to pick up my selection at the deli. THAT I mind very much. Either have the advertised selections available or get rid of them.

I'm F'n pissed now, went to my local Walmart to get my usual Pick 3 Bucket with orange chicken and poppers only to be told they'll no longer be making the orange chicken. Walmart always pulls this crap, you find something you like and buy on a regular basis and the "geniuses" who run the place decide, "hey this stuff sells pretty well, let's get rid of it", ###s.

If they tell you they will be ready in 7 minutes, but you walk away then they probably figure you don't want them and go on about their other tasks. On the other hand, if you let them know you will wait then they would probably make them right then and there.

Walmart walmart return policy doesn't make sense

I have been shopping at Walmart for years. Part of the reason that I was very pleased with Walmart was there return policy. They stood by the promise of satisfaction guaranteed. Nation wide the Walmart stores would return any item purchased at any Walmart. That is very important for me, my family and friends located throughout the country especially when we are buying for someone else. However, recently we received a gift of a pair of shoes from a friend in Florida.

The shoes were too small for my grand daughter. When we tried to return them to a Walmart in San Jose, California they told us the product was not in their system; even when the Walmart tag with the price was still attached to it. My daughter also purchased some diet pills. She had been taking them for sometime. However, recently she started taking some other meds where she can no longer take these diet pills. They told us they could not return the diet pills without a receipt.

We hope that the Walmart stores will continue to stand by the policy of satisfaction guaranteed otherwise we will be forced to buy less. I just bought my first case of stage one diapers in 9 years to set my babys diaper bag up for delievry in a week from walmart, i get them home and open them up i start putting the diapers in the diaper bag to see that about 7 have no tabs on them.

Walmart fourth bad experience.

First off, I usually use my debit card at Walmart, but the old one has just expired, and I got my new one yesterday. I forgot to activate it before I went to Walmart today, so I decided to just write a check there. The computer prompted to see my driver's license, which I know isn't the cashier's fault, which is why I will be calling my bank later today over that. It is just the way this checkout girl, Tamara, asked for it.

First off, she was a VERY rude girl to start with. She never even greeted me, and her asking to see my driver's license was the first time she even talked to me. She did it in a very rude and condescending voice too, acting like she was some cop or something. I also wrote the check for $50 over and she shut the door without giving me my change. I had to stand there for almost 5 minutes waiting for a CSM to come up and open it for her. I didn't even bother any further with her. I just went up to the CSMs afterwards and reported her.

I have her name. She was very rude to the people in front of me also. She should not be working with the public AT ALL. . My husband works in home office and I will tell him about this incident. Surely she will be fired, she did not know who she was dealing with.

Walmart major safety hazard at a center

Major safety hazard at a center. Potential laws suits if a person is injured. Potential general aafety concerns. Place. The vision center. 641 vetera’na pkwy s. Moultrie, ga 31788. Please do an investigation. I believe that based on my observations, they should not be in this particular area in a walmart facility. The space seems too crammed in the front. I am not sure if there is a place in the back of the center. The general potential for law-suits, and thugs looking out to steal from clients should be your concerns. My husband and I go to this location at 3 am on the 3rd of the month, and even at this hour there are thugs around.

1: senior citizens who may have eye dilation could come to harm crossing the lanes to their car.
2: not a safe place inside the center for a wheel chair, space very crammed.
3: no waiting area for clients.
4: many blacks reports that they were forced to go to other eye care providers
5: many persons are being harrased over their insurance coverage.
6:many poor persons may have been overcharged for services at the center.
7: the center creates more persons who can be also a potential for thieves to robb clients.
8: there is a bench outside the door, it sits infront of you check out.
I observed that anyone can sit there, and see the activities of your customers, and follow them out and rob them.
9. The center is located at a major highway thus a person who had dilated eyes could be involved in an accident.

Walmart walmart family mobile has poor cell service

Never tells you the last payment is cash only +83 cents to be paid at store and you have to know how much you owe. It took me 6 hour to figure this out.the employ’s at the store don’t even know this apparently. no option to continue to pay on line, mail a payment in, or make final payment with a charge. once you transfer your phone # your online account for paying is deactivated instantly and so is your ability to contact them by phone.only automated service that connects to a person with an active phone number under their plan which you no longer have once you leave their plan.

they also don’t tell you that the service you get is not at the same level as regular t-mobile. calls, voice mail and text can come in hours or days later. service often jumps from 4 bars to emergency calls only in the same location in seconds, and it could take an hour for you to get a call out. they tell you they are working on the tower and it should be fixed soon. actually this is their service quality because the tower is up to the limit and regular t mobile customers get service first.

I had two lines on my account and in September of 2012 my son moved out of my home and got a new cell phone through a new carrier. I paid the bill of 88.08 for August, and now Walmart Family Mobile wants me to pay 87.09 for September. I am disabled and ask that they check the second line on my account for September and see if the line was used. The number on the second line is [protected]. Would appreciate if they could make an adjustment to my account for the month of September. I do enjoy my account with Walmart Family Mobile. Please respond as soon as possible.

Walmart uneducated staff and rude lazy attitudes

I must say I have been going to Walmart now for years and years and yes you do provide us with many things so thank you. The one thing I do not get from Walmart is SERVICE! It is ridiculous. The stores are HUGE I do not understand why you are so under staffed and I am not just talking about one location I am talking about at least 5 I frequent between Mississauga and Oakville. I apologize in advance for coming across as a rude person possibly but I am frustrated with the service! The staff there is never helpful they all act lazy and exhausted for whatever reason.

I find that a lot of the staff are also old and have no idea how to help with questions about product and they literally will ignore you and pretend they don’t hear you. Example of the other day… I went to the location at Square One mississauga to buy the 3D Ds.

There were 4 people standing at the register talking about managers and schedules. When I said “excuse me” they all literally pretended they did not hear me! Do you have any idea how rude that was and how it infuriated me ESPECIALLY cause my gf had my son with her hiding him so he didn’t see the gift I was buying for Christmas? I had to repeat myself 3 times and literally waited 5 minutes before they wrapped up there gossip! When I finally was lucky enough to get some service the Elderly man knew nothing about Ds and made me uncomfortable to ask questions cause he seemed frustrated and annoyed…

I ended up buying a 3D Ds from you guys only because I am really crammed for time in life in general. But the next time I need to buy electronics or anything of value like that I will make sure to go somewhere else cause this also happened when I bought my camera and tv there. I am turned off from the uneducated staff and the rude lazy attitudes that walk around there!

Without walmart those lazy people would be forced to actually work for a living. Walmart is a cult, and they brainwash all their employees into compliance to their draconian practices. Never give a refund if you can avoid it, and catching people stealing will get you a promotion whether the person was stealing, or just mistaken..No matter to the shuffle foot blue vested lazy ***ociates.

Really? You can't expect top quality service from people earning min wage. Just grab the things you need and get out. Uneducated staff? you don't even need high school to get hired at Walmart...it's not like it would be a tough job that requires an education, so what do you expect? I have been to Walmart in Oakville and the workers seemed friendly enough. I have never had any problems...but at the same time i don't expect high quality service.

I agree that Walmart has uneducated staff with bad attitudes. That is because this is a company with a business model of low prices. The reason you go to a Walmart is because you can get almost everything you need in one place for way less than smaller stores or local businesses. To give you these prices they buy in huge bulk, they do not pay their employees very much, they have poor benefits and they don't invest in the sort of management/quality review structure that encourages creation of a good customer experience. In my opinion when I go to a Walmart I don't expect good customer service at all. If you prize customer service take your money to smaller local businesses. If you care about saving money more than the local economy or the attitude of the employees then have more realistic expectations of what you are getting. The average (not all of them though), Walmart employee is working there because they don't have a lot of options. They are too young, too old, too stupid, have a bad record or some other negative factor that prevents them from getting and keeping a more desirable job. You expect them to have pride in the company and be hard working and courteous?

Walmart $10 loaf of bread

I was lucky, maybe you weren't. If you bought a $2.08 loaf of Sunbeam TexToast bread from Walmart on or around 4/24/12, you may have been charged $10.00 for it.

Busy loading the counter and refilling my cart after the cashier scanned them, I didn't notice until I had made it to my car. I glanced at my receipt and noticed the last item on my receipt, $10 for a loaf of bread.

Back inside...waiting in line at customer service, and waiting some more. All they could say is 'wow'. They refunded the $10 back to my original card and I had to wait to the side while someone went to look. After waiting, and waiting some more, they returned with the $2.08 price. Then I had to go to a different line to pay for it. NOTHING was done (no "sorry", NOTHING). They should of at least just gave me the bread or something to show their thanks. If the Texas Department of Weights & Measures had discovered it, they could be fined up to $10, 000 (that's TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS) per occurence. I wonder how many people were charged that haven't figured it out.

"Save money, live better"? Well, $10 for bread isn't saving money and having to go through the TERRIBLE experience to get my money back REALLY ISN'T LIVING BETTER either is it?

Think about it...the LARGEST RETAILER IN THE WORLD can't even get pricing right on a loaf of bread...what else are they messing up on?

I think the OP is saying, if the price listed is different than the price it rings up as. It is illegal. I don't think that law that the OP cited is the correct law for mispriced items. In Canada. We have Canadian Code of Practice Scanner Price Accuracy Policy.

1. THE ITEM FREE SCANNER POLICY
Retailers will implement an Item Free Scanner Policy as follows:
1.1 On a claim being presented by the customer, where the scanned price of a product at checkout is higher than the price displayed in the store or than advertised by the store, the lower price will be honoured; and

(a) if the correct price of the product is $10 or less, the retailer will give the product to the customer free of charge; or
(b) if the correct price of the product is higher than $10, the retailer will give the customer a discount of $10 off the corrected price.

1.2 Where the same error recurs in scanning multiple units of a given product during a given transaction, the retailer will correct the scanning error in respect of each unit of the given product purchased, but is obliged to apply the policy set out in 1.1 (a) and (b) in respect of only one of the units.

1.3 Paragraph 1.1 only applies after the final sale price of the purchased item has been displayed at the checkout, including relevant rebate, discount or promotional coupons.

1.4 To be eligible for the Item Free Scanner Policy, the product must match the product description on the corresponding shelf tag.

1.5 The Item Free Scanner Policy does not apply if the barcode or shelf label for a given product has been tampered with.

1.6 The Item Free Scanner Policy does not apply to a product where, in respect of that product, the law:

(a) establishes a minimum price (or specified price); or
(b) does not permit the retailer to offer a discount or a rebate.

Walmart racially profiled by walmart door greeter

I purchased a portable dvd I had on layaway, the clerk told me she had no bags for the merchandise but since I had a receipt I would be okay just show the greeter on my way out. I showed the receipt to the cashier who viewed it said “you’re ok”, I showed it to a door greeter who looked at it and said “you’re ok. On my way out the door another women came upon me and told me very rude she needed to see my receipt, I told her I showed it to 3 walmart personnel already, but gave it to her anyway.

She took it walked away and gave it back to me, She didn’t say anything about sorry for the confusion or anything, just gave it back to me. Once I got home I called the store manager, who said all the right things, but I got the impression it was business as usual. He never asked my name or anything. I asked him does he allow greeters to treat all customers this way or just the black ones. I feel I was racially profiled, I came out of walmart in Pontiac, Illinois spending over $800.

I will start going to kmart who is more expensive but ALOT more friendly, and go to walmart when I need items that will cost me $20 or less.

Here we go with the race card... get over it. Your walking out of a store with a DVD player in hand with no bag. Whether you are black, white, blue, pink or purple, I would imagine any good store associate would stop you under similar circumstances. Obviously the issue stems from them not giving you a bag, but racially profiling... give me a break. Oh, by the way, I had a similar experience being asked for my receipt by multiple employees, and NO I'm not black.

Walmart coffee machine exploded

I bought Mr coffe capppacino machine from walmart 4/22/2012. It exploded and coffee, coffee grinds, hot water & glass went everywhere. Scared a 7 yr old to death. Tried to report it to Jarden/ Mr coffee. Their solution was to send me another one. Shoot do you really think I want to try that again?

I spoke to the manager and asked him to take the coffee maker off the shelf. He said this is the first time that this has happened. He asked me how I used it. I told him I put it in the microwave, and he showed me a sign AT THE BOTTOM of the coffee machine which said not to be put in microwave. He basically blamed me for misusing the product.

Wal-mart not interested in taking it off the shelf unless manufactur has recall. If you have never had an explosion in your face then you get a MR coffee and you too came see what I'm talking about. I pray nobody has to have that happen.

Please do all can to remedy this situation

This is a joke post right? You put a coffee pot in the microwave and it exploded and it is somehow the fault of the store that sold it to you? Tee Hee! ... If this is real I am sort of sad that your entire household wasn't destroyed to stop the stupid.

Why should Walmart take the product off the shelf simply because one person doesn't know how to properly use it? A quick look at the Mr. Coffee website shows that every Cappuccino maker that they sell has metal parts on it, and rule number one of microwave ovens is NO METAL.

Walmart tired of racism

Being followed around the store by store employees and store security, getting least better service than white customers, the alarm going off as I am walking out the door and the door greeters chasing me down to check my sacks. It is almost always electronic equipment too that the cashier forgets to deactivate before they put in the sack. I think a lot of times these white cashiers just do that on purpose so the alarm will go off and I will be chased down and made to feel like a thief.

This weekend I walked by one of those demo people passing out food samples and they didn't even offer me one. I didn't even want what she was sampling anyway, but the fact that she didn't ask me if I wanted to try one just bugs me.

I also almost always seem to be the only person these workers on the floor ever greet and ask me if they can help me. I know for a fact that managers tell their employees to do that to let suspected shoplifters know they will be close by so that person will be too scared to steal. I have never stolen anything in my whole life. It is nothing but racism plain and simple and I am sick and tired of it!

It seems like you are perceiving that you are being mistreated because you are black. Walmart is a store with crappy customer service. Your assumption that it has to do with your race doesn't seem to be backed up by examples that clearly point to evidence to support it. That is what makes your assumptions racist. I am a woman and I have experienced every one of your examples and it never occurred to me to suspect gender discrimination.

Walmart false advertising

FYI...I was putting "all" my stuff up on the belt to get checked out at WALMART...and noticed the lady in front of me giving back quite a few things to be returned. I didn't think much of it (hard times and all). Until it is my turn to be checked out. Now mind you I divide all the sale items up w/competitors papers, circled in red marker and write down even to the ounces or limits on the items. When I get up there the checker (which has no control of this situation I was being flung into)... told me that WALMART NO LONGER HONORS COMPETITORS PRICES! ... Needless to say ... half my stuff had to go back also. I asked when did this start and do we have to get a CSM over here to explain it to me, cause this will change everything in my shopping world and obviously alot others as... everyone was putting back stuff that WALMART usually "meets or beats" their prices. Well I was informed that it started about a month ago...which I buy every week for my home & shop. Didn't happen last week or the week before ... but the CSM said yeah they are getting alot of confusion over this problem. Thinking about putting in my two cents to corporate...but I have a feeling that we will be seeing this on the news pretty soon. I replied to the CSM that had I known about this, I woulda been out of there an hour ago cause most of the stuff I buy is on sale...she replied "no need to get upset & eveything will be fine" ... guess her valium kicked in. I said to her .."believe i am very disappointed...and if I was upset you would of already had the security showing me the front door!" So much for the middle class...and I could tell by the checkers, CSM's and others that they were embarrassed about it also and it wasn't under their control to do anything but relay messages to all the consumers (like me) getting checked out! Thought everyone would like this piece of information...still gonna e-mail corporate! ~♥~

I recently ordered an item on line a Braun Shaver 7 790 for 145.97 plus I was to recieve a twenty doller e gift card, the price was fifty dollers lower then any other retailer so I jumped to purchase. Sale went through cc was showing approved. A few hours later I recieved email saying my order could not be processed due to incorrect info on my cc . A day later both were cancelled, I was told by Walmart employee that something was kicking out sale due to there online secuity. When I asked to resubmit transaction they would not honor the price saying it was a cyber Monday sale only.

Be aware when you return something at Walmart they say they cannot refund the tax amount you paid if it is higher than the tax percentage where you are returning it. So the items I bought in Birmingham, Alabama (10% sales tax) that were returned in Atlanta (7% sales tax), were not refunded for the total amount I paid. Less than $1.00 is not a lot really, until you figure out how many Walmart stores there are and how many people don't get their full refund x 365 days in a year, and Walmart is making even more money, inappropriately. That is the ONLY major retailer I have shopped where they say their system is not set up to change the tax or to let the employees override it manually.

Walmart complaint

It hasn't been too bad shopping at walmart since that last problem I had at walmart store#100 in bentonville, ar (Which I posted about on here a number of weeks ago). Yesterday unfortunately, I had another bad encounter. This time at the wm store I have been shopping at closer to where I live in springdale, ar, which has also shown a lot better service than store 100 up until yesterday. There was a recent ad in the newspaper from wm for a 3 piece patio set from hometrends on sale for $120.00 (Regular $200). But when I got there yesterday to pick it up, the price had gone back up to the regular price. I went and told the girl and csm at the garden checkout about it. They said the sale ended the day before. Well first of all, the reason I didn't get the ad in time was because my newspaper carrier had missed my house for 2 days in a row when the sale was being advertised. Long story short, I finally got fed up and called into the newspaper office I had them bring me that day and the previous days papers too (This was friday). Apparently the ad was in one of the previous days papers that I didn't get in time and I just got them mixed up, plus I should of got that paper on the correct days to begin with! I didn't realize the ad had even expired until they told me about right there at the checkout, plus I had thought the sale was going to last a little more than just a couple of days anyway. I told them the situation and they still wouldn't let me have it at that price. I also told them my husband was a supervisor at the home office. After they still refused I finally got the store manager to come up, which turned out to be a co-manager who said the store manager was at stinking lunch! He told me the same thing the others said, and this after even giving him the name of my husband and where he worked! I ended up backing off on telling my husband about the last incident at store 100, but I have told him this time and have given them the names of all involved which I wrote down on a piece of paper before I left. I am starting to become ashamed my husband even works for walmart!

You know, when ever I go into my husbands place of business or he into mine, we are very courteous and pleasant. We would never use the other's status as a power play. I think you should think about your husbands job in this economy. If you keep it up you may not have enough money to shop at Walmart

Walmart walmart canada cannot ship to us walmart

I sent feedback to a local Walmart in Nova Scotia, Canada about the differences in retail items carried between the US and Canadian stores. Nowhere in Canada, at ANY retail location can you purchase X-Rocker gaming chairs. All searches online point to Walmart US. So I asked if they can ship one from Walmart US to a Walmart Canada and was told. Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately the Wal-Mart.com website is strictly a US based website that has no bearing on what merchandise is offered within our Canadian stores (completely different buying teams between both countries therefore merchandise carried may vary.)

At this time, the US will not accept orders from Canada, nor will they ship/transfer merchandise to Canada. Okay, I received a partial answer. I followed up and asked if it could be forwarded to the buying teams to investigate if it would be worth looking at carrying this item. Again I pointed out that NOWHERE IN CANADA can you buy X-Rocker gaming chairs and Canada has no shortage of Geeks, Gamers, Nerds and other people who would like nothing better than to sit in a comfortable gaming chair to play their PS3, X-box 360′s or Wii’s.

Anyway, in closing, no response, no note saying “Yeah we’ll look into it”. Nothing.

I'm sorry to hear about your ordeal. I’ve been in your shoes and I recently found this company that ships goods to Canada. I've used them about 3 times now. I manly get children’s clothing that i cannot get over here in Canada. The next time you run into a problem where you have a store not willing to ship to Canada, contact www.Canuckcourier.com they are good and they aren’t too expensive.

Depending on the item, some items can't be shipped from the US to Canada. Walmart is not the only one. Amazon and other businesses as well. Electronics for example are not for shipped from US to Canada.

You need to check the sites shipping policies before you order.

You think that the other gamers in Canada don't have the gamer chair. They found it somewhere. A quick google search found gamechairs.com and they ship to Canada.

Walmart mis-manufacture?

Beware. Diabetics buying $4 Metformin extended release at Walmart may have an issue with the drug company that supplies Walmart.
If your blood sugars are not coming down or are hard to control, it could be because the generic Metformin pill has too much corn flour content around the drug.
This can make the drug ineffective or digestive incompatible with food intake!
Get your store manager to ask Bentonville to advise what drug company manufactures generic Metformin for Walmart to determine whether it is one or a dozen companies, so this concern can be discovered as fact or not.

Walmart lack of cashiers at walmart

Eind, Okla. WalMart 8:00pm Sunday, Oct. 2, Shelves were in complete disaray, and hadn’t been stocked in days. I only picked up 2 items and had to wait nearly 30 minutes in the express check out line. There was a family with a full basket about two behind me, that had gotten so upset that they just pushed their basket to the side and walked out of the store complaining. I know myself I hate going to WalMart. You people really need to have more people working your supercenters.

It’s total crap that you try to run these stores with the bare minimum of people. Maybe if you treated and paid your employees better maybe your wouldn’t be loosing so much business. Then, I went to walmart on Shackleford in little rock, Arkansas to do some grocery shopping and buy some things for my house, i also made a list so it would be a quick and organized trip, out of all the things i had on my list for the groceries and the food i was only able to get 15 items because they were out of stock, i talked to a manager and a associate and was told to WAIT until they restock the shelves so i went to the electronics department to buy some time and to see if i found anything interesting.

I know i was back there a good hour and a half so finally i went back to see if they had restocked as i was told and was told that the stockers were on lunch and one was on break so i said to hell with this and went to target Shackleford walmart in Arkansas was not thought of completetly and i really do see why they moved from boman they have poor supervisors now and lazy employees.

Walmart killing my daughter

My daughter, who worked at Walmart years ago, has a serious eating disorder and is on disability. At that time, she was bravely trying to work, becoming more weak and thin. Long story short, she tried to take a basket of groceries out the door. A year or two later, she went in another nearby Walmart where she then lived and tried to take food again. Both times, my daughter was starved and was waiting for insurance companies and travel to go to eating disorder facilities (there are none in my state and there were very few counselors who can help). Long story short, she has gone to counseling for years. She and her therapist wrote letters to Walmart and Hastings, where she had stolen. Hastings understood my daughter has a problem and decided to give her another chance. Walmart, on the other hand, has coldly told her no, they will not lift the no trespass order". Since then, my daughter has slipped into depression and her condition is very serious!.

I wrote Walmart and tried to tell them about eating disorders and that my daughter is a very good person with a very bad illness!. I am very disappointed that Walmart would react that way'. Can't they see that she wasn't even in her right mind when she did those things? What part of sick do they not understand? She has done her part and worked hard, even when there are no ED facilities here, . Her therapist believed she was ready to deal with shopping again, . Even criminals do their time and then are out of jail to live freely again:. Walmart has labeled my daughter a bad person and has done irreparable harm to her recovery!. If she dies, I hope their management can live with it.

From what you wrote, Walmart did not put a "no trespass" order on your daughter the first time she stole. So they did, in fact, give her another chance, and she stole again. Why aren't you mad at her "therapist" who thought she was ready to try shopping again? If this person had not said that, perhaps your daughter would not have stolen from Walmart again.

If your daughter dies (I can't believe, as a parent, you would even write that) it wouldn't be Wal-Mart's fault - she has a psychological problem. And Wal-Mart has NOT labelled her a "bad person", as you claim - Wal-Mart's decision is based on her bad ACTIONS.
Your daughter shoplifted - and thus, broke the law. Wal-Mart is well within their rights to ban her from their store.

I'm sure you and her therapist(s) want her to get better, but part of being an emotionally healthy adult is accepting accountability and responsibility for your actions. I'm not hearing that she has shown any responsibility at all...just that she (and you) feel that, because she's trying to get better, should be forgiven for her actions. That's not helping her. You said "Even criminals do their time and then are out of jail to live freely again..." - but how did your daughter "do HER time"? Being sick is not a "get out of jail free" card. And you are incorrect; people with a criminal record have a lot of limitations and exclusions in life once they are released.

If she wants to get better, and show Wal-Mart she is willing to "do her time" on the shoplifting, then she should stop asking them to give her a break, and offer to work off the damages. She could offer to clear their parking lot of shopping carts for two weeks, or deliver their flyers to homes. That would show maturity, and an understanding of how her actions affected other people.

If she keeps expecting other people to forgive her crimes because she is sick, she'll never get healthy.

Walmart I will never take my cars back there again

9/20/11 I arrived at Walmart Sand Springs Ok. Their hours are 7 to 7. At 7:14AM they finally opened the automotive dept. I asked for a oil change and tire rotation and balance. I have the lifetime warranty. I left and came back at 8:30 and my car was outside. I looked at my tires and saw they weren’t rotated. Due to the fact we marked them. I went inside and the girl had the keys. I said my tires weren’t rotated. She said no they weren’t. It will be about a hour. Computer error.

I went back at 9:30 and set and watched the man working on it loaf around . He did everything but work on the car. As we were watching the whole dept. except for a young girl was just playing around. At 10:30 I finally got my car. My self and several other customers were watching all the playing around and commenting about Walmarts poor service in Sand Springs OK. You wonder why people aren’t shopping Walmart as much, its for reasons like that. I will never take my cars back there again.

you can't really expect much from "mechanics" making just over minimum wage and no incentive to do more than they have to. At a couple of the Walmarts in town, the bays at the tire and lube are almost always empty, and yet if you call to see if there is an opening for an oil change, they always say they are booked up.
