[Resolved] Travelgenio / purchased ticket and airline cancelled flight and no airline will refund it as travelgenio is the 'agent'.

travelgenio is a one answers the phone. And if they do it drops out after 20 seconds. you cannot send a message through their website as it does not upload.
I bought a ticket online from Santo, Vanuatu to Brisbane, Australia return.
Due to volcanic action the flight was cancelled and we had to buy a Virgin ticket to get home.
I tried to rebook my purchased ticket to travel with Air Vanuatu another time but no one will touch it as travelgenio is the agent and only they can change it. No one answers the phone...there is no customer service. there is no avenue to get refund or rebook a $780 ticket...
The airlines should not accept them as an agent and they should be banned in Australia

    Customer care service did everything in their power to resolve this complaint. All attempts to contact the complainant have failed. Therefore, this complaint has been annulled and must not be considered where image of the company in question and it's services are concerned.
