Terravision cancels service, doesn't refund

On 30th may 2010 I bought two coach tickets for the airport transfer service

between Bratislava airport and Vienna, from the Terravision representative in Stansted airport, worth £20. Arriving in Bratislava there was no bus at the departure point, the local office was closed. After waiting 30 minutes after the scheduled departure times, and being clear that there is no bus service, we used a local company for the transfer. Arriving back in London I have contacted terravision and asked for a refund, according to their T&C. They refused to refund, offering a voucher for 16 Euros instead, which I refuse to accept. In their T&C it is stated that they will refund in case of service cancellation. They are not answering my emails any more.

I agree. This company are an absolute disgrace. I mistakenly booked a bus to Luton Airport rather than Standsted. I realised what I had done immediately. Tried to get a change to the ticket. Not possible they said. I would have to book a new ticket. Absolutely ridiculous. This company are cowboys. Avoid at all costs.

I was struck heavily and repeatedly by the driver of our coach, for pressing the stop bell by accident with my knee. He offered no explanation, he simply got up and started hitting me, hard. It took me a few minutes to realise what he was hitting me for, I actually thought I was being mugged and it seemed strange he would be doing that in front of the whole coach.

The other passengers were very upset. He then yelled verbal abuse at me and threatened me further with his raised hand.

He forced me out of my seat and made me sit in isolation from the rest of my companions.

He then drove through central London chaotically, often in the wrong lane. He stopped on a double red line for about five minutes. He spoke on his mobile while driving for the majority of the journey.

I have complained to Terravision twice and have had no response beyond an automated email promising to respond in 24 hours. I first complained over 2 weeks ago. I am now considering pressing criminal charges as it seems unlikely that the complaint will be resolved amicably.

dont ever buy this ticket online, you can just go to liverpool st and take a train directly to stansted, they are leaving every 20 min, and you will get there even faster.

I've also lost my money, because they dont even answer my emails, I mistake when I choose the ticket and couldn't cancelled.

After months of bad service with Terravision from Stansted, I chose to travel with National Express into London, at least the counter staff there are friendly, helpful and polite, and the guy that served me even drew a map of my destination which was really helpful as i`d never been to that part of London previously.

Same with me. I used to think that easyBus are rude charging me for early ticket cancellation. But at least they are giving this option. While Terravision offered me to buy a new ticket and give an old one to someone else. Yeah, like who???? Go to airport and try to sell it to someone? Makes me wana kick their butts...

I would like to inform that when I booked my return tiket in terravision web site, from London Victoria to Stansted Airport, the internet system just order one way ticket. Then I was forced to buy another one way ticket, spending more money. I complained by email to terravison, and the answer was: "We are sorry to inform you that unfortunately Terravision has a no refund policy for reasons of cancellation. Therefore, we are unable to refund clients for reasons of mistake ticket bookings. In accordance with terms and conditions published online, Terravision can only refund if a disservice has occurred and Terravision is responsible for it."
Unfortunately they did not assume the mistake. Anyone with the same problem, and do you know where is possible to do an oficial complain?

I had prebooked 2 tickets from Liverpool Street to Stansted.

After waiting for an hour at London Liverpool Street I have decided to get the train as the ticket attendant said to contact customer service for a full refund.

I have tried to contact Customer Service by email and by phone, they are useless, they haven't replied to any of my emails.

After 5 month I have decided to contact my bank and dispute the payment. I now have a full refund. You can do dispute after maximum 120 days, so be quick. :)

After complaining to Terravision about identical problems, they refused to refund, based on dishonest arguments. Does anyone know an international or EU organization to witch I could send the complaint?

I pre-booked a seat on Terravision from Finsbury square to Stansted. I went to the EXACT stop it said on the website and the ticket but upon arrival there was a sign on the bus stop saying it was not in use. i telephoned Terravision there and then 3 or 4 times but noone picked up. I waited 45 minutes, during which time TWO terravision buses should have shown up yet none whatsoever did!! I filed a complaint yet Terravision still has not resolved the issue nor given me an apology, explanation, or refund. It has been over 3 weeks now! TERRAVISION IS A CROOKED COMPANY WITH DIRE/NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER RELY ON AN AIRPORT TRANSFER WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT!!!

I had the same problem in Rome with this company. Asked for a refund as i was travelling through Europe from Australia and they have not given me any reply. Yeah never again for me as well if i ever get back there.

I am also deeply disappointed by Terravision. I tried to use them for the first time last month. The results were:
- I almost missed my flight
- I was put under extreme pressure and anxiety
- I waited for more than an hour 2-3 buses which never came as it was scheduled
- it is a month now and despite several e-mails none has replied to my refund request

I had a similar experience with terravision, I would not recommend this company. They didn't provide the bus service I had prebooked and the sparse explanation they gave, they gave only in italian. In the end I had to take the train, in order not to miss my flight and there were a lot of people with the same problem. I wrote to them afterwards, but didn't get a reply either.

Me and my fiancee we paid the tickets from Amsterdam to airport on their website... their buss did not came... we lost the plane... after speaking with them 2 months on e-mail they refuse to give us back the money and of course no argument was presented to us, why their buss did not came.
In our opinion they are the worst buss company we ever saw in many years of traveling around the world!
Walk better, don't travel with them!
Tell to all your friend too about them... is better to prevent then to be in our situation, to lose your plane and to not receive your money back!
They could call us or write us some e-mail if the buss cannot come any more but nothing from them... and we waited in rain 1 hour for that buss...

Totally agree!
The business idea of this "company" isn't even about transporting people. It's about selling ticket online in advance and then stranding their passengers!
"Buses braking down" seems to be a standard and constantly recurring theme for this so called company.
I am convinced that Terravison doesn't have even half the number of buses needed to transport half of the passengers that have prepaid their tickets.
It's a total scam and disgrace that this company is allowed to perform their scam in Europe!
