I was referred by a financial institution about Money Management International. I spoke with a representative who didn't judge me didn't question what happened why I was in the situation I was or anything. They asked how they could help, they gave me options, and steps to take. A simple payment solution was setup and check *** regularly about where I was standing in my credit, in my financial payoff and how I am doing since my payoff. Money Management International is a great company to deal with. I would love to say I will definitely look at them again and I would absolutely use them again, but I'm hoping I don't have to :) . But if your in financial distress, or feel like you can't get out of credit debt for whatever reason, you can! And you will.. MMI will get you there, I promise!

Thank YOU, MMI! This was my second time using MMI. The first time I withdrew from the program because I was able to pay off early. In 2018, I unexpectedly was disabled from working. When faced with a sudden decrease in income, I knew what I needed to do to manage my several credit cards... MMI is an advocate and an educator for people who want to get out from under the stifling weight of credit cards and other debt.I paid my last payment to MMI this month, 4 years later. Through diligent follow-up, I was successful with the program and it stabilized my budget during a very stressful and financially unpredictable part of my life.I appreciated the representatives' support-- who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week -- through repayment and questions and needing help several times.

My bank suggested Money-Management and they were God sent. My charge cards got out of hand helping grandchildren, the interest rate was getting high even though I never missed a payment or was late. MMI made this a very easy process. They provided very accurate details up front, of how this process would go. Any and all policies/procedures/fees were discussed in detail, and my questions were addressed.Late fees with my creditors were lowered or dropped. Interest rates with my creditors were lowered or dropped.We stuck with MMI'S plan, and were able to eliminate all of our debt that was included in that plan, cutting years and $$ off of our debt.MMI'S estimated date of pay-off was almost exact. I ended up having to make one additional half payment, at the very end of their estimated time frame. Very impressive! My credit score did not seem to be negativley impacted by participating in this plan In fact, it increased (no more late payments!) Sending in that last payment was an amazing feeling! Thanks to MMI and staff for providing this service. I could not have done this on my own!

Quite possibly saved my life. I was buried in credit card debt and exhausted. Repeat, exhausted. Years of getting nowhere paying what I could but it was never enough to make a dent. I called every creditor and plead for a drop in interest rates so I could make headway and was denied. Despite never missing a payment, and decades long relationships with these banks, their answer was to double my rates as my request signaled risk. Now considering and researching bankruptcy I stumbled upon MMI. They explained their debt management plan, set up a budget for me to live on and honor this plan, and contacted the same banks I had failed with and my interest rates dropped in multiples. A big box hardware store magically dropped from 29% to 8 % in one day. Amazing. 4 years and 43 thousand dollars later, I'm done. Only because of MMI. Call them. Free yourself. You will be amazed. I cannot say enough about how they have helped.

I received a letter from MMI. It read verbatim "If we do not hear from you within seven days of receiving this letter, you DMP will be closed and your creditors will be advised that you are handling your own financial obligations. I called MMI on 12/14 and spoke with a representative. I was told by her that my account would be closed the same day that I called unless I could make a payment now or no later than tomorrow. I told her that I couldn't make a payment right now. Although the typed letter had no mention of my account being closed due to me not being able to make a payment quickly, the representative spoke with a supervisor and the supervisor agreed she would not allow me any time to keep my account open. I did exactly what I was asked to so that they could help me develop a plan to help get back on track. I believe they were not interested in helping me at all and that they mislead me and used me. They were only interested in getting paid.

4 years ago, I was stressed and wondering what to do. Every time I made a payment on a credit card I was turning around and spending that open credit on gas, groceries etc. I was depressed and super stressed about how my husband and I were going to make it. I'm a skeptic at heart, but I took a chance on MMI and it was the best thing we ever did. It took us 4 years, but it worked! Not only did we spend less money per month than trying to pay them all off individually, but our credit scores shot up around 200 points (doesn't happen overnight). You hear other people say, "You can just call your creditors and do the same thing yourself! Why are you paying them to do what you can do yourself?" I didn't want to call 8 different creditors to do what MMI did for me. I happily paid their small fees, because the stress I was under was immense and dealing with creditors would have stressed me even more. So, choose what's right for you, but MMI was the perfect solution for us!

Horrible company! I was with them for 2 years and it started good and then it went south fast. They unintentionally made a double payment to some of my creditors and left half of my creditors not paid which caused me to fall behind again. Instead of handling there mistake, which they acknowledged, they "loaned" me the money to pay the creditors that were supposed to be paid in the first place when they made the double payments. I eventually had to file a BK and to this day they keep calling me to collect the so-called money they loaned me. I feel embarrassed for the workers who keep calling me everyday when they know I filed a BK and they are not getting the money back for their mistake. I asked them to stop calling and they continue to harass me every day. They know I had to file a BK and they still won't back off when the amount they paid for their mistake was very minimal, around $200. Find a company that works with you and when they make a mistake they will own up to it!

My experience with Money Management International, has been very positive. Good planning and organization. I have received very good guidance, advice and recommendations in a timely and professional manner in the preparation of applications, review of documents and communications with third parties. Verbal and written communication flows quickly. The representative is intelligent, has strategic thinking, she knows the logistics of her business and works with order. She is respectful in her personal treatment and suggestions handling financial issues and communications with third parties. Until now, the proposed objectives have been achieved, and I am sure that with her support, I will solve the problems with the financial institutions. She knows her job, how to listen, is patient, is persistent, and she explains situations according to her long and varied experience and knowledge. She follows up on the status of my case and suggests new steps to take.I am very grateful for her input and feedback.

After falling in debt way beyond our comfort zone, my wife and I knew we needed to do something about our finances. So on the recommendation of a friend we turned to MMI for guidance. After a very lengthy discussion with our sales rep. over the phone, we thought it was in our best interest to start a monthly payment plan to consolidate our credit cards. They were able to get all of our credit card interest rates to single digits and making one payment to one company per month just made sense. It would have taken us 30 years to pay off our debt if we continued to make minimum payments. It wasn't an easy journey during the 4 years it took to pay off our debt but in the end it was well worth it. And in the process, we learned how to better manage our money. What an incredible sigh of relief it was when our balance hit $0.00. The experience from start to finish was incredible. They were always sympathetic and understanding, and explained things in great detail so that we could understand the whole process. Without hesitation I would recommend MMI to anyone who needed financial assistance.

MMI was recommended by a pro *** attorney as my last ditch effort before filing bankruptcy. After an unexpected divorce, multiple personal losses, and early retirement for my health and sanity, I was willing to accept help with overwhelming debt. From the first phone Call through *** commitment, I was treated with respect, not pressured, and provided online and phone support and tools to help with this 4-year program commitment. My plan was personalized, and saved me tens of thousands of dollars in fines and fees and interest. When I made the first call, and even into year two if my program, I questioned my ability to follow through on the monthly payment commitment. Now, 4 years later, I DID IT. DONE. Almost completely debt free - and I have learned to live and function differently with my finances, with minimal to zero credit cards.I encourage others to give MMI a try - there is a light at the end of the debt tunnel. It just takes willingness, commitment and some self reflection. Make the call and just ask for help. The rest of the is up to you. You can do this for yourself.

I was very upset about my financial situation, too many credit cards at their limit! I was watching the news and saw that they were talking about Money Management International. I called MMI to talk about my situation, immediately I felt at ease. They knew exactly what type of help I needed. After agreeing to the contracted information, they called all my creditors and got my interest rates lowered in a big way. These werent small balances or small businesses. Each creditor decides your new interest rate and new monthly amount. They add them together and give you a MUCH lower payment amount, and when it will be paid off after all the payments are made. You agree that the credit cards will be closed after your last payment. I assumed that my credit would take a huge hit! Six weeks after paying off my balance with MMI, my credit score is 805! Id say, what are you waiting for? The worry of trying to make those payments every month almost put me in the hospital. Money Management International not only saved my sanity but helped me get my life back on track.Oh, the best part is, the fee was so low I barely noticed!

MMI worked great for me. They didnt belittle me because I was heading the service. They explained everything. They went over my debt, and my monthly needs for income. They gave helpful ways of saving money, earning more income and walked me through everything. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They go over each plan. I opted to pay in full and not have my debt reduced. I borrowed it from the lenses and feel its my responsibility to pay it. They did get my interest rate reduced so I had to pay less in interest each month, which is what was killing me. It feels great to be out of debt and working with cash only. One thing I didnt like is that I look late on payments, because it was never changed to their payment date vs when I was originally scheduled to pay when I was on my own. They said it would switch and it didnt. I paid early, but they didnt pay it until their time, which made my payments to my creditor look late. Thats the one thing I wasnt happy about. I think my credit score would have raised had they paid it on time, or changed the date with the bank.Read the scam alert above, because I didnt check to see if this number is correct. Im all paid off except $15+ dollars. I dont know how that was miscalculated, but Im going to call MMI And see if I can just pay the bank. Before Covid I had an 800 credit score, after that it tanked to the 600s. That sucked. I had to do something about it, so I called MMI

I have had an excellent experience dealing with Money Management International (MMI).This was my second time asking them to assist me on eliminating my debt. The first time was around 2008, one of my friends recommended me to get help from MMI, they were kind, patient and very supportive. I paid off my debt in about 3 years, a debt that I couldnt see the end of it when I was only making my minimum monthly payments and sometimes a little bit more, until MMI negotiated with my creditors and established a payment plan. WHAT A RELIEF AND WHAT A VICTORY WHEN I MADE MY LAST PAYMENT ?Then again, by 2018, I accumulated another big debt because of my husbands health issues. Of course it was time for me to call MMI again, they didnt judge me, to the contrary, the advisor was very kind and eager to help me deal with my financial issues, she called my creditors and established a monthly payment plan. As of August 2022 Im finally out of debt ? IM VERY PROUD OF THIS ACCOMPLISHMENT, WHAT A RELIEFI hope I dont need to call MMI again ?I will, just to remind them they are great!Note:The best part of dealing with MMI is that they encourage you to make extra payments when you receive extra moneylike your IRS refund or bonuses, etc. There is no penalty for paying before your established plan, but you dont have to do it if you dont want it. For me, it was awesome to be able to finish paying my plan six months before because I received extra money and applied it to my MMI plan. Thank God and thank MMI for being there for me. Their advisors are GREAT! ?

I was reaching out in *** to try and get help rehabilitating my student loans. I rcalled MMI because they were referred by NFCC. The initial agent who took the call was not competent in answering the questions I was calling for and he lied to me in telling me I would be transferred to a Student Loan counselor who could answer the questions after I jumped through all of the hoops he insisted on which included gathering my personal information (birth date, ss#, etc.) So I wasted hours going through a free counseling session with the person that I did not want because he said I needed to do that step to get to the student loan counselor who would actually answer my questions that he could not answer. And these were basic questions to find out if they actually offered the services I was looking for. This is info any call agents should know so they are not wasting peoples valuable time. When I finally got connected to someone who was supposed to be in the Student Loan section I was told that the Student Loan counselor was busy on another call but would call me right back. Several hours later I had received no return call.I called again and the agent told me the person I was waiting to call me back had left for the day. I then was told that now I needed to pay $99 just to speak with a Student Loan Counselor - even though there is no answer yet if they can actually help me with the problem I was calling for. The Student Loan Counseling, by the way, is listed as Confidential, secure, and FREE through March 31, 2023 on their website. But she insisted that I had to pay to speak with a student loan counselor. When I asked her to explain she then began lying to me telling me all the counselors and managers were now gone and she would not give me any names or any way to contact a manager. So this company is misrepresenting themselves and participating in dishonest practices to get peoples private information. Shame on them for targeting vulnerable people.
